I ordered the shoe in a 9.5 which is what I usually wear in a Keen. Had to send back and reorder half size larger (10). I received new pair next day. I am thrilled. Shoes fit. Life is good.

I used these shoes for walking and hiking. The have a lot of support. I took a 7.5 when I usually take a size 7. They are not "feminine" but I am a practical girl. They do not slip on as easily as the Keen Whispers - that is annoying but okay. I was also surprised that after having them for 8 months (and I don't wear them every day), the support is lost as my foot has made an impression in the footbed. Anyway, I am going to buy another pair because I like them for walking - I live in a warm climate.

The Keen web site indicated that these shoes run small and advised that you order a size up. I did, and it was STILL a size too small. I have never had problems with shoe sizes; the size they claim is not reasonable. My husband has had the same problem with this brand, so their scale may just be wacky. Thankfully, Zappos does exchanges & I got my replacement shoes almost before I had returned the originals (literally ran out to post them back and had the replacements delivered whilst we were out). The +2 size shoe fits beautifully, and these are very comfortable "summer sneakers" that have been great for hiking in our woods and wading in the lake. Would totally buy again; but if I order from Keen again, I might order a +1 and +2 size expecting to return a pair.

I have another pair of keen shoes that I like very much. I wanted a pair of sandals and tried 3 kinds of keen sandals before settling on this pair. These felt the sturdiest and did not have any leather. They are as roomy in the front of the shoe as my regular shoes. I like that the sandals are adjustable, that the closed front protects my toes and that they are not leather and therefore easier to use as water shoes. The ONLY thing I don't like is that if I wear them without socks, because the footbed is rubber and does not breathe at all, they feel sweaty if it's warm out.

Love my Keen's. I have owned many pairs. This time size was off. I have ordered my normal size in the past and they all fit well. This time the reviews recommended a half size larger, but they were still too small, so I had to go a full size larger. A bit frustrating, but still love them.

Comfortable out of the box. I have very small feet and, as the other reviewers said, I needed a half size up from what I regularly wear. Not very attractive, but very practical.

I have a pair of Keens that look like this from several years ago, still wearing them to garden but the sole finally tore under the ball of the foot, so I'm ordering new ones. I checked the tag and ordered the same size, but these are too small. I'm going to try a half size larger.

These are good boat/water shoes, very comfortable and relatively easy to slip in and out of. However, there is really not much arch support, at least not for my high arches. I pretty much keep them for kayaking or walking in or around water. They seem to run a half size smaller.

I was looking for summer hiking shoes; I order these, the Newport H2s, and the Owyees. I really wanted to like these! They were probably my favorite look - the burnt henna/hot coral color really pops and I like how much skin shows through. Unfortunately, the middle-most strap rubbed against the inside of my left foot - a little strange, but I have slightly mismatched feet so this kind of thing happens. It might be that they just needed breaking in, but I have got an outdoor excursion in a few days and I cannot wait. I ended up keeping the Newport H2s, which won me over just by comfort and amount of arch support. Sad, because I liked these, especially the color so much, but c'est la vie. Perhaps they will fit your feet better!

This shoe is what I needed for working outside and casual walking. It rubbed the inside of my foot a bit and had to wear band aids for the first few days. Stretched out some and is feeling better. Sturdy enough to do chores on the farm, so I am happy with them.

I have wide, long, skinny feet, so I have a time trying to find large sizes that aren't loose over the tops of them. I can't figure out if it's just the style of the toes to be into the front rubber or if my feet and toes are just too long. I feel like ordering up another 1/2 size will be to big on the other problem areas on my foot. I feel like there is no arch support, as my arches are very high and these soles do not even come close. But I'm not really worried about that for comfort because it doesn't bother me. I love my Keen Mary Janes, so I think I'll keep these and just get used to the feel. They are comfortable and are a cute style. I think they will be a good camping shoe so I am excited to put them to use!

These sandals were great on my trip to Costa Rica. My toes were protected, but they drive fast and they do well on wet rocks. The rubber soles are quite grippy. My only issue with them is that I kept getting small stones stuck. I noticed another commenter had the same problem and I wish I'd paid more attention to that before I ordered these. I figured small stones just happen. However, my friend had a different style of Keens on the whole time and she had ZERO pebble problems. So I would definitely recommend a pair of Keens for a trekking/water/hiking trip, but I'd probably go with a different style next time. They are definitely worth the price if you are going to be out and about in these.

They seem to run a half size small if you want an all day comfortable shoe. I am hoping they stretch out a little over the top of the foot. The adjustable straps don't do anything really, maybe just design. The design is very comfy, though, and I like them overall.

I liked these shoes, but found them to be too short. I like all Keen shoes and have a pair of Mary Janes in the same size and they are not too short. I just had to order up half a size, hope they fit!

I am almost always a 5.5 and this shoe was short. It does provide more arch support than the Keen Whisper. I am returning and buying a size 6.

Great shoe! I recently had toe surgery and when all was finished I had to have a shoe/sandal that I could wear with a large toe bed since my one foot was swollen due to recovery. These were ideal when I was still in Portland with coolish temps & rain. I wore them with socks and they fit. Now I'm in AZ for sun and the looser fit without socks is great. Color is fun, too!

I was looking for shoes that were both waterproof & comfy enough for beach & sightseeing. Having size 9.5/10 D-width feet has always made me self-conscious of the proportions of my shoes-to-outfits. So these were a tough sell for me. When I put them on I swear I could hear my feet rejoicing, and even my knees and hips had some words of relief too. I have a bunion on one foot, and even that guy was like "Yes." They felt even better than my cushiest running shoes, and the red is a nice berry color. I wore them all day, and walked miles in them with no rubbing or pain. I was disappointed that the fabric straps didn't dry as quickly as the description suggests (seemed like they were wet most of the day after a morning at the beach). Still really happy with these, even if they look like rubber bumpers.

This shoe is so pretty, but sized inconsistently. I have tried 2 pair (and already own one). The 1st pr of these was shorter than one I own and hit my toes. I sized up to a 9 which is too long and I could live with that but left shoe is larger around ankle, than right, increasing the slipping effect of too much length. Have many pair of Keens in our family and love Zappos' service. I'm disappointed to return a 2nd time.

These are very comfortable shoes, but they do not work well in medium to small gravel or rivers with gravel. For sand they work well.

Loved this shoe, comfortable and good protection for feet in water. But it runs small so had to return and keep another pair I ordered because no time to reorder. If ordering, I'd recommend a 1/2 size bigger. I am nearly always a size 6 in every brand.

I wear an 8.5 or 9 EE in most women's shoes, or 8 D or wide in mens. Based on reviews saying these ran wide I hoped they would work, but sadly they are too tight in the toe area.
Light and comfy otherwise.

I bought these and the Newport H2. I usually wear a 6 in casual shoes 5.5 in dress and needed a 5.5 in Keen. I didn't plan to wear these with socks. The sweet grape/regal orchid color is lovely in person. Not too bright. Because there are less straps on this sandal than the Newport, each strap has a little more pressure associated with it. This did not work for my foot when walking so these will go back. But that is the only reason. The foot bed and toe box are very comfortable, the ankle strap is great, on and off goes well, and overall, these are great sandals. The sole is quite stiff compared to Keen CNX, but I see it as an advantage if you will be walking on particularly sharp or rugged surfaces. Sole will not conform to surfaces as much as CNX, but offers more protection from bottom up. I wish they had worked for me. My overall and comfort ratings are based only on the strap situation making these unwearable for me.

Shoe fits well...have bunion and hammertoe...however, footbed material is very uncomfortable. Must wear peds to prevent itching on bottom of my feet.

I have been wearing Keens for 10 years. I have tried a lot of styles I still prefer this older style. Own 2 of the Whisper. Wearing side by side, the Whisper makes my foot look longer and narrower. Foot in Venice looks shorter and wider. It is just where they set the straps-at the edge of the sole on Whisper, slighlty in on the the Venice. Whisper has a thinner sole. But it has more straps and a tighter fit which makes the Whisper hotter than the fewer straps & more relaxed fit of the Venice. Since I wear sandals in hot weather, I think the Venice H2 works out to be a much moremore comfortable shoe.
