No more achy feet! I love my Florida Soft beds!! I already had the Arizona style with a regular bed and since I'm pregnant I had been wearing them so much that I decided to get another pair. They are the only shoes I can wear right now do to my high arch. I love the soft bed! The regular bed took a while to get used to and break in, but the soft bed felt great from the first day. I have very narrow feet so the 3 skinny straps on the FL style really look great. I highly recommend them!!

Comfortable - I live in Arizona and have been looking for a shoe I can wear year round. These shoes are amazing. I travel a lot and wear them to the airport because they are easy to remove and put back on. If I'm traveling to a colder climate, I just add a pair of sox. Love them!

My second pregnancy wreaked havoc on my feet. As a result, my doctor recommended that I wear shoes with great arch support as much as possible. These shoes have been great! They are comfortable even after hours on my feet. I recently took them on a vacation where I was doing a lot of walking and these were comfortable the entire trip.

Feels yummy - I've worn Birks for years. This is my first in the "soft footbed" style. I love it and plan to buy more with this feature. It's like a little treat for my feet every time I put them on. If you're new to Birkenstocks, use this rule of thumb: Average width? Go with the Narrow. Wide feet? Go with Regular.

Healthy Happy Feet - I realize Stacey & Clinton of "What Not to Wear" scorn the Birkenstock tradition. While I appreciate most of their tips and suggestions, the health of my feet is far more important than looking great but feeling awful. The Florida Soft Footbed is an artistic blend of quality, comfort and style. My life does not end after working hours, in many ways it is just beginning. If my feet and legs are tired and sore, then it’s difficult to devote quality time to my son & our home life. Wearing these shoes supports my feet and my entire frame and the engineering design rejuvenates my feet & legs all day long. Can you tell I like these shoes?

Don’t hesitate - If you are deliberating about purchasing these, don’t, as they are great. I own several pairs of Birkies, clogs and sandals, but this is my first pair of soft the footbed. I ordered my regular size in Birkies and they are really nice, a little dressier than the Arizona style I own...plus a little softer in the new footbed.

Excellent shoe - This shoe is excellent in comfort and looks. Looks a little dressier then some of the others. Great walking shoe.

Whoopee!!! My First Birkenstocks - Hurray for Zappos and their marvelous Customer Service and A+ Representatives -- these are my first Birkenstocks and WOW they are like a cloud. With knee issues, I have no more -- why pay $10 for a cheap sandal and then give your Orthopedic Doctor $150 because your knees ache. Get quality and you get comfort. I am sold. Can't wait for next pair of closed toe. Just had to order a size down and narrow as they run larger than your normal shoe. Presto, I'm in love. Thanks Zappos for making me smile.

Where have they been all my life???? This is my first pair, and now I know why people swear by them. Can't wait to get another for winter/closed toe. Really feel great. Most expensive shoe I've ever bought, but worth the money, and thank goodness NOT made in China or India.

Incredibly comfy Birkenstocks - These shoes are so comfortable I wear them all the time, even on long walks. They seem to hold my rather narrow foot better than the two strap model. I would recommend them to anyone.

Like walking on a cloud! I own two pairs of Soft Footbed Florida sandals and they are the most comfortable sandal ever! I also own the Arizona style but they do not look nearly as nice on the foot. They are a bit "clunky." I wish that the Florida soft footbed sandal came in more colors. I'd own them all! I have a very narrow foot and the narrow width is perfect for me!

These a great sandals, but I have a wide foot, and the straps on the left sandal were tight and hurt my foot. So they will go back.

These are great shoes. But they are just a little too long. My mother always wears a size 36, but not in these shoes. It's unfortunate because the quality of the shoes is very obvious.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for many years. These sandals are taking a lot of time to break in. The underneath part of the nubuck leather is very rough and basically is rubbing the skin off my feet. I have covered every inch of it with Dr. Scholl's moleskin and this is helping ease the pain. The leather is very sturdy, thick and stiff, which I think is adding to the discomfort. I am sure that in time, the leather will soften. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 wide. I ordered the size 38N. The length of the sandal is perfect, but I have the straps adjusted on the loosest or last hole. They seem to fit fine; however, perhaps the regular width would have worked better; but I was afraid they would be too loose. I do like the secure feeling of the three straps. They seem to give me better support than the Sydney's or the Arizona's with the two straps.

Unfortunately, Zappos is giving misleading sizing info on Birkenstocks. I have always worn size 35 and was surprised when I attempted to select this model for me that size 35 was not available. However, size 36 was indicated as comparable to the U.S. sizing of 5 to 5.5, so I purchased the Floridas only to be very disappointed that they were way too big. I was told when I called customer service that Birkenstock no longer made 35's which I later learned after buying the correct size from another website, was NOT the situation at all. When I called Zappos customer service line to arrange the return, I learned that Zappos simply does NOT carry the size 35 in Birkenstocks but Zappos is giving misleading info. Size 36 does NOT equate to U.S. size 5-5.5, but rather equates to U.S. size 5.5-6, a BIG difference. The size 35 equates to U.S. size 4.5-5, the correct size for me. Disappointing experience with Zappos...I've dealt with them for years satisfactorily and this experience was very puzzling.

Really comfortable but having a hard time adjusting the straps to fit each foot. The soft sole makes a big difference--no break in needed. The original insole gives firmer support but by the end of the day, can feel like a rock under your feet. The way the sandal goes up in the front sometimes causes me to trip. Gotta get used to it.

Everything was as anticipated -- perfect. Arrived on time, no shipping charges, ready to wear. Seems a bit larger than the same shoe I purchased many years ago.

Could be better - I have a number of Birkenstock’s, love them all. This is my third pair Soft Footbeds, but also the first pair that hurt my feet. They are made of a real hard material. I’ve worn these three times, usually I can put on any Birkenstock and wear all day. But this one pair won't stop me from buying more, I love Birkenstock’s. Maybe these will soften up I’ve only had them a month now.

I live in these shoes - I have had several surgeries on my right foot. There are very few shoes that I can wear. The Florida Birkenstock has a good arch support. In fact I had never worn Birkenstock shoes until I injured my foot. It was my surgeon who suggested this brand. I wear these all of the time. So comfortable!!!

Birkenstock Florida Soft Footbed - These are better than most shoes, but not as comfortable as I had expected. The arch comes back too close to the heel. I tried several sizes and the ones I bought seemed to be the best fit, but not perfect. I don't feel the leather quality is in line with the price of the shoe.

Better, but not quite good enough - I am a fan of Birkenstocks and I bought this version with the soft footbed hoping that with the good arch support it would be helpful for plantar fasciitis. The footbed is definitely softer than the original and very comfortable, but I can't wear these for more than a few hours without feeling some pain. So, for normal wear this is a great choice. If you are hoping to find something to help plantar fasciitis, it might not be what you are looking for.

Fit seemed true to size. The soft footbed was a bonus. Sadly, I had to return because the leather was so stiff and rubbed terribly with no sign it would soften.

Love Birkenstock, but the nubuck straps on this pair are unbelievably stiff--not way they could "break in" without a lot of pain. Sorry that Birkenstock seems to be moving away from classic styles and material. Stars for style; none for comfort with these straps.

I had a pair like this that fit perfectly the moment that I put them on. I loved them but finally felt they needed to be replaced. The materials in the new pair is not of the same quality, the soft bed is not as soft and the straps are stiffer. One of the things I loved about my old ones was the way the upper two straps cradles my bunion. The upper strap on the new shoes rubs the bunion so I am only able to wear for them for short periods of time. I hope in time I can break them in to be more tolerable. I have heard good things about Zappos so I would try them again but I do not think that I would buy Birkenstock again. The packaging was thrown away while I was in the hospital or I probably would have returned them because of the high cost.
