Very comfortable, and can look cute with the right outfit. I have two friends who frequently wear this style Birk and always look really stylish, not matronly. I initially bought a size 36, but it was ever so slightly short, but my regular size 37 was too wide at the toes, so I ordered a 37 narrow and that solved the problem. I own the Arizona's and Gizeh styles and wear a 37 regular, so these do run a bit wide (strange, I know), so be aware that if you have narrow feet you may have to order a narrow in this style even if you don't regularly wear a narrow in other Birk styles. I am normally a 7-8 in shoes, but find Birks run a 1/2-to-full size larger. I wear a 37 instead of a 38.

I was skeptical as to whether it would be worth it to pay the extra money for the soft footbed. But it was totally worth it! I have really bad feet, and now I don't have to always wear gym shoes with orthotics in them. These are almost like slippers but with a whole lot of support!

I've been a Birkenstock fan for many years. The soft foot bed is a great addition, particularly for those of us whose feet are not aging gracefully. I wish they had it in more styles. For those unfamiliar with Birkenstock sizing, I would advise that you order up a size. I wear a 41, which supposedly translates into US women's size 10-10.5, but I'm a 9.5. Also, European Narrow is more like a US Medium, but with the Birk contoured foot bed it still works for me, although I'm really a Slim.

This is about my 100th pair of Birkenstocks! I love them and only needed to replace my Florida Soft footbed sandals because I lost one on vacation. I have flat feet, heel and ankle pain, so love the soft footbed because there is no break in time. These have three smaller straps so are flatering. I wear them with skirts, shorts, jeans, and capris. Birkenstock seems to be very consistent with size I always wear a 37 narrow and that always fits no matter what style I am buying.

When it comes time to purchase new shoes, Zappos is the place to go. They have a huge selection to choose from and the ordering is easy, the shipping is reasonable and they deliver on time.

If you don’t think you can wear Birkenstocks, try these. I have very high arches and have been treated for Morton’s neuroma. This style supports my feet, while remaining comfy. This is my second pair (different color). Yeah!

Birkenstock's softest - This is my third pair of Florida's. I keep a pair in our vacation house and at home in two colors. I can't wait to take off whatever shoes I've worn during the day and slip into them. They are soft, supportive and oh so comfy.

I have plantar fascitis, and I have a high arch. These sandals are excellent for both problems. I find the soft bed Birkenstocks to be more comfortable than the hard footbeds and easier to adapt to. I wish they were not so expensive, but with foot problems, they are worth it!

Takes a few days to get used to the top strap since it hits high on the foot. After that short breaking-in period, the sandals feel wonderful, and I prefer the look of the more narrow straps.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my daughter. We were not sure about the soft footbed as both of us have worn the traditional Birkenstock footbed and loved it. Needless to say she loved them straight out of the box and says they are amazingly comfortable. A successful birthday gift!

This is my fav style of Birkenstocks, which I've worn for many years. But I'd never tried the new soft footbed before. I loved it! Feels like they're already broken in from the first time you slip them on! Excellent!

This is a new member to my Birkenstock family of 37 others. This one as like all the others I own couldn't be any more comfortable than they already are. That's not even saying that not only are they comfortable, but they are good for your feet with the cork sole that forms to your foot for maximum and personalized stability.I am a firm believer in Birkenstock!

Super comfy! Just one note, the top strap hits pretty high on the foot. I was expecting it to be a little lower, so the first day or two that I wore them they rubbed my foot a little. But once broken in they are awesome. I love the softer footbed too!

These sandals are awesome. They provide much needed support for my feet. Buying from Zappos is easy and fast. We'll definitely buy from this site again.

I highly recommend this shoe to people who have high arches and 'tender feet'. I have had heel problems and after length standing or walking the balls of my feet feel sore. When my feet are sore from wearing other shoes, I put these on and it's heavenly. I would also like to say how wonderful Zappos is. Both in their products and service!

I love Birkenstock shoes. This is my 5th pair. What's different about these is that they have the soft foot bed and only came in narrow. I wish they all did. The fit is fab, the style and color are perfect and they will last forever. Zappos.com is the only place I buy shoes from now. The customer service rocks! Thanks for another great pair of shoes.

I wear my Birks at home to restore my feet after wearing dress shoes all day. The Birki-Flor straps on this style are a little stiff, but they are otherwise the same great Birk quality.

This is my first pair of the soft footbed Birkenstock shoes and wow! They are so comfortable. I do have about a dozen pair of Birkenstock, but these will be my new favorite. You can wear them right out of the box, no break in. Birkenstock are the only sandals I can wear because I wear orthotics in my shoes and the only sandals my doctors recommend because of the support.

Florida Soft Footbed - One of my favorite Birkenstock purchases...I LOVE the soft footbed. These shoes need NO break-in period; they are ready to wear as soon as you take them out of the box.

Birkenstocks are the best - I wear Birkenstocks all the time. I especially like the Florida style because it gives my foot the stability I need. The 3 straps are adjustable and can be changed when my feet swell or if the leather stretches at all. I love Birkenstocks.
