I have had this same style of Birkenstock before, but not the narrow width. While I love and still wear all my past Birkenstock, these are the most comfortable ever! The regular width I already have are comfortable, but the narrow width of this pair fit so well they don't feel like they might slip off if I have to run in them.

They are Birkenstock, so the style is the style. These were for my husband and he has a narrow foot, so we first ordered them in Narrow. Size 42 was really snug, but size 43 was way too big. Then we ordered the size 42 in regular width and lo and behold, the regular width was about 1/2" longer than size 42 narrow. We don't know if that's because of sloppy quality control, size 42 should be the same length whether it's narrow or regular! We kept the size 42 regular width, but still wish that Birkenstock would start making half sizes as that would make it so much easier to find the right fit.

It’s a nice color and fits perfectly but it’s easy got black stain even I’m using it for 6 hours only for walking outdoor.

Nice shoes, arch support is lacking,but they are comfortable and good looking.

These fit well for me. It is hard to find sandals that account for narrow feet. I am glad that Birkenstock offers sandals in narrow as well as conventional widths.

Birkenstock Arizonas have saved my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and wearing these shoes everyday has put it in remission for almost a year now. If you've never worn Birkenstocks, they can take some getting used to. Often, the shoes will feel stiff for a week or so, and may be uncomfortable under your toe area, until they start molding to your foot. But once they're broken in, they're magic. Give them a few weeks, you will love them!

So comfortable but definitely run big.

I have small narrow feet and wear orthotics. The narrow Birkenstocks fit perfectly and have a wonderful arch support. These are the only sandals that I can wear.

My third pair of the Arizona soft bed. Very comfortable sandal. I wear an 8M in US sizes and the 7-7.5 Narrow in Euro sizing fits best. My first pair is now my garage shoe because the rubber sole on the bottom wore off. I'd advise anyone ordering these sandals to consider the narrow width first because it is more like the regular width in US sizing. That's where I went wrong with my first pair. If you order from Zappos it's an easy return and replace.

The tobacco brown color is beautiful. The soft bed is awesome! Very excited about these shoes

it's been a while since I've owned a pair of brand new Birkenstocks so I forgot they need some break in time. After about a week they're softening up and becoming very comfortable. I know as I wear them and they age they'll form to my foot and be perfect! I specifically ordered the "soft footbed" model and it's definitely a tad more giving than standard models but don't expect it to be super cushy; but as I mentioned with the break in, I do expect the soft footbed version to form a bit more to my foot overtime which I really like. Overall an excellent sandal I expect to wear for years.

Great shoes, super comfy once broken in. I measured my foot with tape measure to get correct fit. Zappos is always great with returns though.

I like color and leather.

I’ve worn the Arizona and Milano styles of Birkenstocks for three seasons a year for over 40 years. They’re pretty indestructible unless you slog around much in water (RIP my second pair). The softer footbed is new-ish so this is my first pair with this modification. I am a lifelong size 39 regular, but they were too long so made a smoothly handled exchange for a 38. Go figure! Anyway, now all is well and my Birkies and I can walk off into another sunset.

This is my second pair of a Birkenstock’s. I had foot surgery 7-months ago to repair my posterior tibial tendon. As you can see in the pictures my left foot and ankle is still swollen but the Birki’s are accommodating the difference in foot size nicely.

I'm a womens size 8.5 and needed to return the 39 - definitely size down! The 38 is a little snug on the back of my heel but hoping to wear it in.

I have worn Birkenstocks for years. Not sure if something happened with this soft footbed but unlike my other Birkenstocks, the arch support felt like it was highly elevated and completely irritated my foot - so far that I now have Plantar Faciitis. Make sure you don't take it for granted that this shoe will feel like your others...

Birks are the perfect shoe, I didn't know how comfortable they really were till I tried them myself. There is a short period to break them in, but i just wore them around the house for a couple of days. The arizona is my go to now and I love the oiled leather, it goes with everything.

Birkenstocks are the best shoes ever! I suffer with foot issues and these are the only shoes that I can comfortably wear. The soft footbed of these Arizonas are especially comfortable. They conform to the shape of your foot and offer support and comfort. They also look great. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in most shoes and always order a size 39 in these.

Today Zappos delivered my Birkenstock Arizona sandals. They are perfect. They are brand new. They are real Birkenstocks. This last statement may seem silly, but two years ago I bought the same shoes through the Amazon website and some greedy third party seller sent me sandals that looked identical, at least to me, but they were somehow quite different. They were not comfortable; they were not supportive, and I wore them less and less. I had them on while in Macy’s last summer and slipped them off to try a new pair. I mentioned how uncomfortable they were and the salesman, after looking at my shoes, told me they were not real Birkenstocks. I asked how he could tell and he said, “the weight.” So, I’m pleased. Thank you Zappos!

I am an overpronator big time and got this pair of Birks after about 3 years of dress shoes, concrete and urbanity. Escaped urban living and 9-5 dress shoes. This is not my first dance with Birkenstock. Considering the last 3 years for me, I knew going back to something so supportive and something that puts your foot back in alignment would not be the most pleasant experience. Initially my feet were sore in them but I wore them for another hour or so and what happens for me is all the knots and stiffness in my feet eventually melts away. I do not wear them all day every day. I break in to them slowly--just a few hours at a time and then I can wear them all day. My flat feet then appreciate the arch support and my ankle tendons and ligaments strengthen and relax. Based on previous pairs of Arizonas (which I wore until they fell apart) I know these new Birks will provide me a similar level of comfort and support. I already ordered another color.

No break in needed. Put them on, wear, no worries. Comfortable right out of the box. Love Zappos they strive to make sure you are always satisfied. Best customer service anywhere!!!
