I have been wearing these sandals year round (even in snow) for 10 years. They are comfortable for my hammer toe, wide foot and worn out mailman feet. I have tried the other foot beds because of price, but this is the most comfortable style. The leather uppers ware like steel.

The color is a lot lighter in person than online. I was not to happy with that. I wanted the color true to the photos.

Love my Birkenstocks! I decided that these shoes were so unattractive that they were cute. And apparently they are on trend right now. These are the second pair that I purchased this summer and they are my go-to shoe. My feet are achy a lot due to age and activity level and these are the sandals I grab when I need a recovery. I even plan my outfits based upon my Birkes. Love them!

I got the Tobacco Tanned leather. The color is god. Its PERFECT in every way. The soft footbed is the absolute way to go!! I have a pair of the regular ones, I do not have any foot problems at all and they hurt the bottom of my foot SO bad. The soft footbed is so much better and well worth the extra. I normally wear a size 8 in everything. I remembered when I bought my other pair that kill my feet it was a random size I had to get so I checked and I had to get a size UK 37 US size 6-6.5. If you do not already have a pair and are thinking about ordering I suggest going somewhere and at least trying on the style you like to ensure your size so you do not have to wait to send back. Even though I knew I needed a couple sizes smaller I still went and tried on the style I wanted because my other ones were a different style. All in all, both styles I wore the same size. They fit PERFECT(Two sizes down from my normal), the width(normal) is perfect and they are SO cute!! If you're thinking about it, buy them!

Lovely, but too big! I'm usually a 7, and these are definitely a 7.5+. I'm going to order a size down.

Though not the cutest sandals in your closet, these are so comfortable with great arch support. The leather is a great shade of gray. However, if you're the type of person that stresses over visible scrapes and marks on your shoes, this leather will show those imperfections in a way that the suede version disguises.

Wildly comfortable and just the look I wanted! I am a mother of two under 3, I wanted something comfortable and cute! Although i wear a lot of black & gray, I was very attracted to the brown alamalfi brown, with the rose colored buckles. GORGE! After years of yoga, bar tending, wearing 4 inch heels+, and running (yes I've been very hard on my feet), I now have bunions, these are like HEAVEN! Like walking on clouds and the sides don't put any pressure on my feet. I love them so much, I am buying them for my sister-in-law. She doesn't have the orthopedic issue that I do, but she is a physician and spends a lot of time on her feet too. I did have some trouble with my sizing but Zappos, your customer service is top notch! I ordered the wrong width and I was sent out the correct size immediately, with no charge, and emailed a return label for the first pair. Thank you so much, Zappos and Birkinstock, I am very very happy! :)

I am very happy that Zappos carries these in the narrow width. I tried on a pair of these in a local store in 39-regular. They seemed to fit OK. They were just barely long enough, but I probably would have purchased them if they had the black in stock. But, since Zappos DID have the 40-narrow, I ordered both sizes to try. I am glad I did! (For reference, I wear Dansko Pro Clogs in 40-narrow. I have medium-narrow feet and I mostly wear regular width shoes that do not run wide.) I think the sizing is actually pretty comparable to how the Dansko clogs fit, and the 40N was definitely a better fit for me. FYI, the 40N is a little narrower than the 39R. Also, the leather is so much more substantial than the synthetic materials! Whether it is worth another $40, I can't say yet. I did not like the feel of the birko-fluor at all. If I was going with the synthetic material, I would recommend the birko-buc. It seems strange to give Birks 5 stars for style, but they really are classics.

Really like these Birkenstocks! They fit perfectly and are very durable!

My husbands first pair of Birkenstocks. He had been having heel pain from Planters Facetious and these were what my pediatrist recommended for me. He loves them and the pain is so much better! Will try the clogs for this fall and winter.

I have worn Birkenstocks for years but these are my first pair of the Arizona style. I need a narrow and the soft footbed and these had both. The wider straps needed a little break in period but are very comfy. The color is so great for summer it has been a nice "laid back"color change for me..

Love the new oiled leather colors- I got Iron and it's beautiful- I want jade green next! Comfy and cute with any thing I feel like wearing!

Absolutely love my Birkenstock sandles. The soft foot bed is amazing. I only truley likke the leather uppers, only because the others feel cheap. Could not be happier! I think these sandles run wider than sneakers.

Love love love my new Birkenstocks Arizona with the comfort footbed! My old ones were showing there age, and I think that they dated from pre-comfort bed technology. Ugly? Yes! Comfortable? Totally! Although they are considered in fashion now, and I don't restrict them to wearing only at home anymore, the truth is that you don't think about wearing them as you walk...they are that comfortable! The N even is adjustable to fit my slender AA/N foot. I have a fantastic collection of gorgeous fine shoes, but these are by far the most comfortable! I just ordered them in black, too!

My husband loves these! Ordered them for him as a summer shoe that is comfortable, slightly nicer looking than Chacos, but still casual enough. You can dress it up or down. Love them!

I love these sandals. I bought my usual size and a narrow width (based on another review). I wore them right away and did experience a little discomfort from the leather rubbing against my toes. After a few days, the sandals felt great and are really comfortable. I would definitely recommend these!

What can I say? Birks are amazing! I really love the way they fit and look. They do require a little bit of breaking in, though. Oh, and if you're between sizes I'd size up. I'm a 9.5 and ordered the 9 to 9.5, but my toes went right to the edge. Good thing with Zappos you get free returns and next day shipping. I sent them back and got the bigger size and am so so glad that I did. I believe the name of the color I got was tobacco. It looks great, but shows scratches pretty easily. I'm going to grab some leather protector and am guessing that will take care of that issue. But even with that, I really love these shoes!

I patiently waited for these to come in stock in my size for weeks then ordered immediately as soon as they came in. The soft footbed feels a bit different than the regular Birkenstock footbed I'm used to but I like it. In my opinion it breaks in quicker which is a plus. For reference I wear a 7.5 in Nikes, Toms, etc. and I ordered a 38 regular. It fits perfectly. The Iron color was exactly what I wanted.

Great sandals! I've worn Birkenstocks for many years but never tried the soft footbed until this purchase - wow. Love it, I wish the option were available on all their styles.

Ok I got these in the Habana leather and they are awesome! I struggled with decision on what "color" to get and ultimately, I'm happy with these! They are the perfect shade for leather, in my opinion. And the style is your basic Birkenstock style obvious so no complaints there. The choice between Regular and Narrow is just that, is your foot narrow? If not, then order the regular. I ordered the narrow in the past 2 pairs of Birkenstock and they fit fantastic! The sizing on the other hand can be a bit tricky. I can wear a 36N or a 37N because I fall right into that space where the sizes overlap. Yah Go Me! But I can't tell any difference between with the soft footbed and I've been wearing Birks since the 90's but maybe it's because my old ones don't have a footbed anymore! Ha!

The comfiest sandals, once they're broken in! It took me a few days of wearing these for a couple hours every day to break these in, but once I did so, they're about the most comfortable shoes I own. This style does seem to run a bit small - I am usually a size 8 and I got the 38 (7 - 7 1/2) and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot so I ordered the narrow, and once I tightened the straps a bit they were fine. The tobacco color is beautiful. It does scuff and wear when you scratch it, but I was expecting that, so it didn't bother me.
