The soft foot bed is a lot more comfortable initially than the traditional one. It still takes time to break in. My arches were in pain the first day but after a few wears they felt great! The Alfani leather is so pretty!

LOVE these. They are super cute, leather is very soft, and the soft footbed is wonderful!

I love my Arizona sanadals! They do rub big and kind of wide. I generally wear a size 8 in other sandals but order the 7-7.5 in the Arizona.

I purchased these as a gift after I had just purchased my birko-flor Birks. After I tried these on I really wish I had purchased the soft bed instead, it makes a HUGE difference. Definitely would recommend splurging the extra $30-40 to invest in the soft bed Birkenstocks!

Love these; ordered my usual normal size, 38, and they fit perfectly. I've sized down previously in Birkenstocks but decided that actually fit the best and most comfortably when I go with my normal size. Super comfortable and cute-looking, too!

My 1st pair. You won’t believe how comfortable this sandal is with its “soft footbed”. Very comfortable and stylish for when you need classier look than the hiking / biking “Ecco” sandals which I also love.

My husband finally agreed to give Birks a try! He loves them, says they’re super comfortable and provide excellent support.

I am in LOVE with my Birks!!! They are so comfy right out of the box with no breaking in necessary! I got the black oiled leather cause I really like the look of the matte black. The narrow width is comparable to the normal B medium width in shoes for me. I’ve read that the regular width for Birks is similar to a wide width.

A long time ago (like 15 or so years ago) I had a pair without the soft cushion. The soft cushion makes a slight difference but isn’t necessary. The slipper takes on the shape of your foot, and the slipper is really comfy to begin with. It’s a few dollars extra so I decided to try it. Let’s see how it holds up in the long run. I also noticed that their shoes have gotten bigger (unless my feet have shrunk). My first pair, years ago, was a 38. This time I ordered the 38 and had to return it and get a 37. It’s a great shoe — perfect for summer but works for spring/fall as well. It gets better with age. Love this shoe!!

The Arizona soft footbed is very comfortable on the soles of the feet. There is no need for a break-in period before you can wear them. Good quality and these sandals are well made. The normal width fits my wide foot well. These are the most comfortable sandals I wear.

These are my third pair. i don't want to wear anything else.

Always loved birkenstocks. I used to be a size 38, but had to change it for a 37. I don’t think my feet shrank. Haha! Great shoes, and I’m glad they now come with a soft footbed — not that it was needed. Even the Birks without the soft footbed are excellent. But for an extra $10, I went for it. It feels great. Like I’m walking with pillows on my soles. I’m still in the middle of winter, but I wear a common size and didn’t want to wait for it to go out of stock. Oh and make sure you get the leather ones. Birko-flor comes apart in a humid atmosphere, and doesn’t mold to the shape of your foot like the oiled-leather ones do. Oh, and on a side-note, beware the suede ones. Those stretch out way too much. My husband loved these shoes but I ordered them in two sizes because I wasn't sure. He kept the smaller ones. The soft footbed is definitely the way to go!!

Purchased these for my husband. He loves them. He mostly wears them around the house because his Dr. told him he shouldn't go barefoot. It has helped his foot problems. He loves the soft footbed. I will definitely order soft footbed with my next Birkenstock purchase.

What else can you say about a birkenstock? They really are that comfortable! Said I would never wear them, but once you try them you won't be able to wear any other sandal. I usually wear a size 9 and went with the 40 narrow after reading other reviews saying the regular is pretty wide. Think I could have gotten away with a 39 narrow.
