I am a true size 8 in just about everything, but read the reviews and ordered the size 38 (7/7.5) in a narrow. My feet are pretty narrow but probably not technically and the narrow was just a tad too small for my taste. So I ordered the 38 regular and it's perfect. I also tried the regular Arizona, but prefer the softbed - it was easier to break in and much more comfortable. The only difference I noticed is that the black oiled leather in the regular Arizona is a little lighter/on the grayer side than it is in the softbed. I prefer the lighter look but figure that the ones I ended up with will wear in and lighten at some point. Love these shoes!

My first pair of Birkenstocks, won't be my last. Fit is perfect, width is perfect. I usually wear a 11.5 wide men's and these fit perfect.

I'm always in the hunt for shoes that provide support for my plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma and that accommodate my high instep. I used to depend on Merrell clogs until they changed the style just enough that they're now too tight across the top, so I've been searching for a new "go to" shoe for everyday wear. These are perfect - incredible support in just the right places and the soft footbed makes them a little easier to break in than the Birks I had about 30 years ago. I wore them with socks around the house to break them in - not sure I'll do that outside the house but I know some do. I bought them for support - not style, but I actually think they're pretty cute and plan to buy another color or two. I normally wear a 9.5M and bought these in a 40 regular. They're just right.

I love these shoes! Beautiful color and IMO goes well with many outfits. I wear them every day and they don’t disappoint. They’re holding up well.

Love these Birkenstock’s. These are my second pair from this brand and they are just plain comfortable. I wear them either w/o socks or with tab socks if it’s a little cooler or dressier. They go well with jeans or shorts (can you say 90 % of my apparel). Seems like I wear a lot of athletic shoes too so these are a nice break. Can’t go wrong.

I wear my three pairs of Birkenstocks almost everyday for a quick shoe to put on and go. I have stuck with Arizona soft footbed. A few dollars more but worth it to me. The leather is nice and thick. I do not have a narrow foot but find myself putting the straps on the tightest hole. I’d definitely recommend.

I wear a hard to fit size, 11-1/2 N. I got 42 N which fits 11 to 11-1/2 N. They actually fit well and aren't too short. They have enough support in them to feel ok. I'm still breaking them in and getting used to the straps. One of my smaller left toes was feeling a little sore from the strap, so I took a fingernail file and smoothed the edge of the leather strap where my toe was. It seemed to help. I just about never wear sandals because I have a hard to fit size and they don't usually have any support. I got Brown Amalfi Leather which is a bit shiny. I wore these to a bridal shower and I fit right in with everyone else. So they can go semi dressy. My housemates also thought they looked great on me. Overall, I'm happy with them, and they're keepers.

Excellent shoe! True to size. I suffer from foot problems and these sandals have definitely alleviated much of the pain I normally endure. Soft bed is the way to go. Don’t forget to break in your Birks!

Basic shoe. Very comfortable. They are holding up very well.

My husband loves them. His first pair of Birkenstocks, so I ordered the soft footbed. He says they need a little break in time (the strap is stiff) but I told him once he does, he’ll love them. So far so good. :)

My girls call this style “Jesus Sandals.” They are so worth it. Comfortable the first time I put them on. My heels were aching that my old sandals were not even fun to wear anymore.

I wear an 8.5 and have an average width foot. The 39 narrow fits me perfectly! These required very little break-in time and are very comfortable, especially with a high arch.

I believe Birkenstocks fit differently than other shoes (sizes I wear in other shoes for example offer no guide whatsoever to how a birkenstock will fit) and also that different styles fit differently. For example in a birkenstock clog, I wear a smaller size than the sandals. Birkenstock Arizona sandals run large in my opinion but not as large as the clogs. I can wear either a 36 'narrow' or 'wide'; the wide size fits my right foot perfectly and is large on my left foot (they are different sizes, left foot is smaller) and visa versa for the narrow. That said, I think I prefer the 'wide' because my right foot is a little pinched in the narrow. As far as comfort, I believe these shoes are unbeatable. If you get the right size and after you've 'worn' in the sole, they fit your foot like no other. I doubt I'd want to walk 100 miles in these sandals because they are slip-ons, but for around the house, moderate walks, going to the store, library, etc. they are my go-to sandal. I also prefer the 'comfort' footbed because it provides a little more cushion than the regular footbed. Downsides: they're quite expensive and getting a pair that fits just right can take some time (they last years tho). The only other real caveat I have is that the slightest little thing stains the footbed. As you wear the footbed in, it becomes dark over time anyway but it's quite annoying for a brand new pair to have stains erupt spontaneously out of thin air as it were. I really love the iron color, it pairs so wear with cool and neutral colored clothes.

I love these shoes! Super comfy and supportive of my foot. Really happy with this purchase. Foot bed isn't too "soft" but definitely softer than the traditional Birkenstock foot bed.

These run wide. I suggest getting the narrow fit. Very sturdy and comfortable. I preferred the soft suede to the harder oiled leather options because it was more flexible. Really great arch support!

Got these for my son, who loves Birkies. The neutral color goes with anything, so he wears them all the time.

I bought these sandals for my husband and he just loves them. He has plantar fasciitis and they really help his condition. The color is neutral so it goes with everything, they fit perfectly and he loves them.

Absolutely LOVE all birkenstocks, but I tend to favor the soft footbed. I have several pair of the Arizona, in different colors, in suede leather and leather. If I m not in tennis shoes working out, I m in birkenstocks. The most comfortable choice in footwear, for sure!!

Definitely larger and wider than anticipated.

I read the reviews before buying and I’m very glad I did. I usually wear an 8.5-9 in sandals and I got the 7-7.5 and they fit perfectly. Some people don’t like the scuffed look, but personally I think it makes them look cute and not so brand spanking new. Love these.

Excellent quality and classic style

I love these shoes! Super easy to slip on and go. I know I’m going to be comfortable all day. There was no “breaking in” period for me. The leather was soft right away. Highly recommend!
