Was sent the wrong color TWICE so returned both and bought them direct from birkenstock. I like the shoe, not the zappos service. What happened to zappos? used to be so reliable.

The shoes had been worn. There were scratches on the leather and they were not in a Birkenstock box. The box said that the original box had been damaged in transit so the shoes were put into another box. I tried to call/message customer service, but they weren't available. I'm done with Zappos. You used to be a good, responsive company, not any more.

The shoes are great and the idea of Zappos is great. I ordered this pair and got a different Suede Taupe…the first time. Customer service was great! They sent a replacement pair. Box matches description above and I got a 2nd pair of Suede Taupe!! I refunded and said I’d try one last time. They apologized and were actually wonderful but the 3rd pair were…Suede Taupe. I never got the Brown Leather i ordered and in fact I overpaid by $10 (the brown leather i never got is $10 more expensive). I give up. I love the idea of Zappos but I don’t think I’ll ever use their service again.

I ordered a size 40 but was sent a size 43. Obviously too large and disappointed. This was the first for me from Zappos. However, Zappos’ customer service and returns are prompt and outstanding!

I bought the size I normally wear in Birkenstock’s and these for some reason ran way too big!! I’m so sad cause I was so excited for how cute they were and I have several different pairs/colors.

Overall rating is poor because your shipping has went from 2 days - 14 days. Very disappointed.

I ordered the narrow and these were not a narrow they were super wide and did not look like the color in the picture.

This is advertised as soft foodbed, but it is not. It's the regular footbed.

Birkenstock should do away with the narrow soft bed. If you're gonna wear Birks, wear the originals. No short cuts.

A complete wrong pair of shoes were mailed to us when we need the shoes badly because of foot issue.

Love Birkenstock’s. However… I had a lot of issues with this order. Received the first pair, color was awesome, comfort great, however the leather footbed liner was cut crooked right at the toe on the left shoe. I was concerned that at some point the corner would lift and cause problems so I requested an exchange. Zappos was great about the exchange. Second pair came and they are a completely different color, more of a nude nubuck kind of color? I get variations in leather but this is like 3 shades lighter and NOTHING like the advertised photo. Then, to add to the issues, the right shoe has a pen mark on the leather. I suppose at this juncture I’ve just decided to like the color of the exchanged ones and I’m grateful the buckle covers the pen mark. But still…. at this price there shouldn’t be these kinds of issues. Not sure who to be disappointed with either, Zappos or Birkenstock?

Maybe it is just my feet, but can't wear these without getting a blister in the middle of my arch on one foot. Also, the interior of the leather strap is not finished and gives me a contact rash. Not impressed given the price.

I hate these shoes. They hurt my feet. The arch support feels like a rock.

The shoes I received were sooo cracked looking and discolored with scratches I didn’t even try them on, I immediately called customer service. Shoes looked as if they had soles refurbished after being worn for years(no exaggeration) they were not wrapped like new shoes usually are which makes Me think they were a return. Zappos CS is excellent and took care of return but these shoes should have NEVER been sold to anyone!!!

Never changed the status of my order? Read another review that said after 11 days they were told item was back ordered. Not prompt service like I expected. Ordered through Birkenstock’s website.

THe shoe caused lower back pain and very little support

Zappos never notified my that this was out of stock ( after I ordered and paid!) and just left the status as "processing" for 11 days. I didn't find out what was going on with my order until I contacted Zappos. For a company supposedly known for their customer service, this is a MAJOR FAIL! Not sure I want to order from them anymore

I received a brown sandal with a back strap. I ordered a grey (iron) sandal without a back strap. I received the correct shoe BOX...just not the correct shoes!

Not a soft shoe bed as described, very hard inner sole. Have suffered from heel pain for over 10 years, this sandal is not good for that, Crocs are better as they offer more cushion for the heel.

This the 4th pair of Birkies I have bought, all size 7, women's. These were sized so incorrectly, they looked like they were for a size 9 or 10.

I bought these shoes on the advice of a friend who said they were very comfortable and could be worn all day without hurting my feet. The first pair I ordered were the 38s, the size I usually wear in European sizes. They were too big, so I returned them and ordered the next size down. These fit OK but the footbed is really hard, even with the arch and toe support. I wore them around the house for a few days and wore them all day (only in the house) thinking they would break in and soften up a bit. No such luck. My feet ached and swelled, oddly enough. So back they go to Zappos. Really, for $135 they should be A LOT MORE COMFORTABLE and not feel and look like I have wooden planks strapped to my feet.
