The Docker Shelter shoes are great for wet floors. My husband was looking for shoes that he could use for his work he worked as a Bakers and he had try other brand but did not work for the slippery floors. The Dockers are super. Thanks!

The shoe is simple and durable. Easy to clean, very comfortable. The only issue is that they aren\'t very good for walking on ice, but then again, I live in Alaska.

Got these for my husband who is pretty hard on his shoes (and also very picky about styling and quality). I based my purchase on other reviewers who seemed pleased with these. I have to say, Dockers makes a nice pair of shoes - they are good quality and durable and a lot less expensive than the brands we usually purchase.

I always have a hard time buying shoes that fit correctly and are sturdy enough to have a lift put on for my disability. I started looking on line for some web site that sell shoes and found Zappos.com. I was finally happy to find a place that would have what I wanted. The first pair of shoes I bought were Harley Davidson Boots and they fit perfect, even with the lift, they are still sturdy enough for me to walk in. And tell me they did a great job in the snow. The next purchase was for a flat shoe so I could go out on special events. I bought the Dockers Shelter shoe. They are the best shoe I found to also have my lift and still strong enough for me to walk in them. I love my boots and shoes I bought from Azppos.com and will continue to shop there for more shoes or boots and even clothing.

Nice shoe I'm impressed it looks durable and comfortable. i bought my pair a 10 1/2 wide i should have gotten a 10 because the wide does it true to the word. I suggest this pair to everyone. enjoy

These shoes fit perfectly. They look great and feel great. Dockers are really shaping up to be my number one shoe company.

A great shoe. It's hard for me to find a shoe I really like. I look for solid and dependable, with understated good looks, not too heavy, that comes in a wide size. There aren't too many these days, and this pair fits the bill perfectly. I actually had to order 4 pairs before getting the size right, since wide here really means wide, and they feel somewhat larger than most shoes for the sizes. However, I ended up with what I always thought was my size, whereas for the past few years I've had to get a larger size than I used to. Hmmm. I've marked "true to size" and "true to width" because I think these shoes are what I expect from sizes, and most others recently have felt too small and narrow. Very comfortable, solid, and great looking.

Great shoe, great service - This is the 3rd pair of this particular shoe I've purchased from Zappos. It is my husband's work shoe of choice. He's very hard on his shoes but these stand up well. My order arrived the next day – another thing I love about Zappos. The best thing is that I saw this same pair of shoes in a department store for MORE than I paid. Who wouldn't love that!

Great shoemakers! I bought the Shelter to replace another pair of shoes from Dockers which I had worn to work almost everyday for more than five yrs. Zappos shipped promptly and their price was very reasonable. I spend most of my mostly eight hour days on my feet. The Shelter is just as comfy and stylish as the previous pair and appears even more durable. Here's to another 5 ½ yrs of quality style and comfort.

Great comfort - I travel a lot and need nice shoes that are business smart but I can also wear with jeans after work. These shoes are great. Very comfortable.

Good shoe for casual work - I usually go for shoes that are flashier and trendier, but these shoes are great for a conservative look. They're well-made & pretty comfortable. I like that they are already waterproof!

Diabetic Person- My job requires plenty of walking and standing. I have found these shoes with the most comfort. My feet never get tired.

For the amount I spent, an extremely good value. They are comfortable and sized as advertised. The soles are not svelte, but they are durable. Great for someone who has to look a little professional out of doors.

They are okay. Truthfully, they show a lot of wear on the front of the shoe, so that is not great! They look really old already, not great when wearing to school daily.

I ordered this shoe,based on mostly good reviews. So, I was very disappointed when I went to try on the shoe. They were incredibly tight, and definitely not wearable. I have never had to return anything before, and I have average feet. I can only conclude I got the one lemon in the bunch. Needless to say, Zappos was perfect through the ordering and return label process. They even made me a VIP, but alas, these Dockers are not. Don't recommend at all.

Great shoes for the office or outdoors. Very comfortable; I wear them 5 days a week. I've hiked and done construction work in these shoes one week, then cleaned and polished them for the office the next. I work in and out of an office and must visit and work on construction sites daily; these are great for this purpose. These are the same shoe as an old Bass Hamilton style that sold for much more. I have had three of the Bass shoes over the past 5 years, the last me about two years each. Great price. They do scuff, however they polish right up. The soles wear out before the upper.

Comfortable from day 1. Sturdy, yet flexible where they should be. A little "chunkier" than I like as far as style, but I'll get used to them. No more "discount store" shoes for me!

These require a break in period and feel a smidge smaller than marked.

Very comfortable shoes! They look great and have held up well. The only negative is that they seem to scuff pretty easily.

This is my third or fourth purchase of the Dockers Shelter and I am very satisfied with the shoe. It is lightweight and durable and, for me, a wear anytime and all the time shoe.

My husband loves these shoes!! He is a mechanic and stays on his feet all day long. His orthodics fit in the shoes quite well.

These shoes are very well designed and constructed. They are much more comfortable than I would have anticipated and have the perfect appearance that one would wish for a casual dress shoe.
