New Favorite - I had been lusting after a pair of Desert Trek shoes ever since I saw them. I finally took the plunge and bought a pair about a month ago. These shoes have seldom left my feet since. The comfort, look and simple styling have made these my new favorite pair of shoes.

Color Request - I have worn these shoes most days (except summer) for at least 5 years. I have the black which is no longer available and wonder if we can get it back? For the shopper who did not like the shoe's support, I felt the same way until I used Spenco arch supports. They're great and do not make the shoe too tight.

Speedy deliviery - I found ordering from Zappos to be a very pleasant experience with speedy delivery. Love not paying sales tax and shipping and will order in the future.

Awesome shoe; Awesome Zappos! I absolutely love this shoe. It was comfortable right out of the box. After several times of wear it has conformed to my foot, which has made these shoes by far my most comfortable yet. I am on my feet for at least 8 hours a day and these Clarks keep my feet happy. The quality of this shoe is excellent. I don't have one complaint and I receive so many compliments on the look of this Clark. Many people want to know where I got it. I originally ordered the size that I generally wear in tennis shoes and found that I needed a half size smaller, so that is something to take into consideration. I must say that I am one happy Clarks purchaser and a very satisfied Zappos customer! You can't beat Zappos customer service. They are the best!

Great shoe - I was hoping that my memory of these shoes would stand true from the 1970's when I wore them every day. Treks still are wonderful and very comfortable.

Previous reviewers gave me valuable information... I bought these based on reviews here while buying Wallabees. (Thank you other reviewers.) MS has caused neuropathy in the bottoms of my feet. Both shoes work great to help me walk. The Desert Treks were very tight to get on, thought it was a big mistake, but another reviewer said they would stretch, they did within minutes. I love them and am grateful for the reviews. Neat looking, very comfortable, true to size and very sturdy.

Crepe soles--like walking on air! I love the shoes and especially the crepe soles. However I do wish that the shoes were't so heavy. I don't remember them being so heavy, when I was wearing them back in the 40's, and thru the years untill I couldn't find them anymore. I guess the weight is due to the soles. For a person my age and with a bad back I look for comfort (which your shoes have)looks and a cushion sole. Your product is above all of these standards. Now if you could just improve the weight, I would really be a happy camper.

Comfort With Style - I love my new Clarks. They are made of beautiful leather and are so very comfortable. I have barely taken them off since I received them. It was my first purchase from Zappos and I would definitely use them again. Cost was right: five dollars less than shoe store with free UPS shipping. Very pleased!

I love the look and the feel. One problem: Even though I've never had a problem with width size, infact all my shoes are medium, however, this particular pair was quite tight across the middle. I'm hoping they will stretch out a little. Other than that, a perfect shoe.

OUTSTANDING - I also had this shoe when I was young, I hated it when Mom made me wear them. Oh funny to actually search the internet for them 35 years later. They're just great!!! I put them to the test on Friday after Thanksgiving shopping and they won!!!!

Clarks Desert Treks, everyone should have a pair - I love these shoes. There comfortable, look great. I will definitely own another pair in the future. Zappos is a great on-line merchant. Longevity - I've had these shoes since 1980. They've been hiked in, swum in, chewed on, washed in the machine, dried in the dryer, run over (I'm not kidding), thrown up on (not kidding about this either), and otherwise abused. And they look (and feel) nowhere near ready to go in the next yard sale. These guys are forever.

Lives up to its reputation! Bought this shoe because of all the recommendations and found that, if anything, it surpasses them. One of the finest shoes I've ever worn. Total comfort and a quality feeling. Get lots of compliments. The look is spectacular and tough as nails. May run a half-size bigger than size.

These will be your favorite shoes! I bought my first pair of Trek's when I went to college in the 70's, my second pair before I got married in 1980, and my third pair in the 2000. I still have them all. The older pairs have been resoled twice. I can't part with them. They feel so good on your feet. I've worn them to work and to travel across Europe. I would tell everyone, this is the best pair of shoes to own.

Clarks Treks Rule I have thought about this shoe for quite some time. I had my first pr. 30 yrs. ago, and have missed having another pr. for the last 20 yrs. I would check shoe stores that sold Clarks, but never found the Trek That I remembered. I found them at your website (along with the Cumulus) in the beeswax leather. My elf shoes did exist for me again! They were comfortable the first day I wore them, and have gotten more so since then. They seem true to size and width for me. I remembered them as so great to wear and found that they still are. The Treks were by far my favorite shoes when I was 19 and are once again my favorite at 50.

Comfort and Looks - these shoes have it all! I have a pair of desert treks in brown suede. I bought them in England - everybody asks me where I got them and are disappointed you can't buy them locally. They are the most comfortable shoes I own! OK the crepe soles attract the dirt but then again they look just fine like that. I am going to buy a pair in leather - I figure they will be better for the winter. I sprayed mine with water repellant and I wear them in the snow. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and believe me - we get lots of snow. I wont wear boots because they don't feel comfortable - my desert treks are my winter boots!

Desert Trek I ordered this shoe because it reminded me of the desert boots I had in high school back in the late 70's. I loved those shoes, but I'm disappointed they're not available in womens sizes. If they ever are, I'll be the first in line to order them. I was very excited to get the desert treks which are pretty close to the desert boot. I love the look of them, the feel of them, and I and everything about them. I will probably have to have them in another color before it's all said and done. They are great shoes. Very comfortable and I love the look.
