Love 'em - These shoes are so comfortable and didn't need any "break in " time at all. The color and texture of the leather is great and the first day I wore them without socks and they never hurt my feet or gave me a blister. I tried the "Wallabee " version but these were more comfortable for my wide wearing feet.

Best shoe ever! I go a private school and we have to wear uniforms and "nice" shoes. just about 7 out 10 wear Clarks, they are the best shoes ever. extremely comfortable and nice on the eye. I wear them everyday and they still look brand new. I highly recommend them to anybody, they are an all around good shoe!

I love these shoes - I have been wearing these shoes almost every day in the month since they arrived. I love them. They are comfortable. They are wearing well. I am a college professor, so I am on my feet a lot. No problem with these. I got them as a replacement for my J Seibels and now Clarks has a new customer for life! The leather is substantial. These will last me.

These just look so cool - And they are also EXTREMELY comfortable! I know that Clark’s cost some dough, considering they are not glamorous or have expensive soles, but they look GREAT, the leather is high quality (though you should always have shoe conditioner to clean them off for they scuff quite easily) and they are LONG LASTING. Trust me. You’ll have these for years and years.

I love these!!! I absolutely love these shoes - very comfortable from the get go! They have become my new favorite pair of shoes and I've received several compliments on them! They have an "old school" look to them!

Out of the box the shoe is a little stiff compared to the Wallabees but with a little leather conditioner and wearing around town and work the shoe is great. The footbed is different compared to the Wallabees but its kinda like the footbed in the doc marten's 8 eyelet boots and now it feels great.

Outstanding comfort - At first, the shoe felt like there was little arch support, but after a week’s wear and the shoe taking the form of my feet, they are terrific! Highly recommend these shoes if you want a really comfortable shoe. I'm on my feet all day and these are the answer. Try them, you'll like them!

A terrific shoe, worth every penny. I wore this type of shoe all through high school and they bring back happy memories. The crepe sole cushions every step, the generous width allows me to wear the Ragg socks I wear during the cooler seasons and the laces make them fit snugly and securely. I am a teacher and on my feet all day long. These shoes are perfect for anyone who takes good care of their feet. Comfy, cute and worth every penny.

Looks great with everything - This shoe looks really cute with skirts and tights, jeans, wide leg trousers - I want more! They don't have arch support though, so don't believe it if you read that in someone's review. The fit is on the roomy side, but I like that.

Good fit overall - Comfortable, right out of the box. Stylish and different.

clark desert treks - I have treks from 1980, they were in the bottom of my closet and i broke them back out and wear them again, now my 22 yr old daughter wants a pair. the beeswax color has changed a bit, mine are more of a burgendy with leather laces which they dont use anymore. They are still like brand new and you CAN'T wear these shoes out!

The shoe is a little stiff and has to be broken in. I wear a true size 5 and it fit perfectly. I would recommend this shoe if you can be patient accept the break-in period. Great looking shoe overall!

Like all of Clark's shoes, this one is great! Comfortable, with a non-slip sole for winter walking.

I\'m on my fourth pair of Desert Treks over the past decade. Standing on a concrete floor for 8+ hours a day, they are the most comfortable shoes I have found. My first two pairs were great but now I\'m worried about quality control. My last two pairs have come unglued where the shoe meets the sole, causing the stitching to rip. They never fit as well after they have been repaired. I love Clarks Classics but the quality has gone down.

The Desert Treks are pretty sweet-looking shoes. The soles are comfortable and make for a smooth ride. The only drawback to these shoes is that the rim of the shoe digs into my skin, and causes me to bleed. I've had to put bandaids on my ankles when I wear them, and I'm trying to figure out a way to attach fabric to the shoe to minimize friction. Beware!

I returned them and gave them two stars because they do appear to be very well made and durable, if you can bear the style!

This is a great shoe and as many others, I also had a pair in the 70's. They run about a half size larger and unfortunately I have to return them. Order at least a half size smaller than what you normally would. They are tight in the beginning but they will stretch out.

Desert Trek - If you wear a size 10 buy a size ten there is no need to go up a size. These shoes are comfortable and stylish. They go with almost everything like jeans, trousers, skirts. You can wear them as dress shoes or just normal everyday shoes.

A True Trekkie- I have a pair of white treks that I found, strictly by chance. Is the word Love too much of a word to use for these shoes? I love my Clark Treks. I want other pairs but in other colors. I am so glad that I found Zappos, so that I can purchase other treks and in different colors. I want to add "Bravo!!!" and "Peace-Out"...

great style, not-so-great fit - I bought these last year because I love the style. My roommate had a leather pair in grey and they were the softest, cutest shoes ever! I ordered the sand-colored suede pair and didn't have such luck. They are extremely narrow and I had to force them to stretch out, even though I wear a medium width, and the shape was rather warped. I have worn them loads, hoping the shape would "break in" a bit, but it really hasn't. My overall opinion is that this is a shoe you should buy from a store rather than online, so that you can try it on. Each pair seems to look and feel different. They just look very strange on my feet. Amazing, speedy service on Zappos' behalf, however!

The real deal - I needed a new pair of anything shoes, and everyone recommended Clarks. I decided to try them out and they are definitely everything they're cracked up to be. They look great--everyone loves them. Not gonna lie, I had a couple blisters the first few days, but leather always has to be worn in. Now they're perfect! You should really try these out!

I prefer crepe-sole shoes for work but in the past have had trouble finding quality women's shoes for work. I have had a pair of Desert Treks for about two years. They were comfortable from day one and have held up very well. In Idaho, I may be working one day in the desert, the next in the mountains; dust, rocks, heat, or cold. The Treks have been great.

Very Comfortable - These shoes are very comfortable and looks good with almost everything! I am a teacher and my high school students had a fit over them!!
