Should not have waited. A little heavy, but gives great support. Runs a little big, so fits best with mid-weight socks. Got tons of compliments!

Work or Play Boots! I had been wanting to buy Frye harness boots for quite a while. I was afraid they'd be too tight because of the point like toe, but I decided to go for it. They felt so awesome from the first time I put them on! No having to break them in for me. I love them so much and I have had a lot of compliments, too.

Great boots - Great boots, all around style, fit and comfort. Made very well, beautiful leather, worth every penny. They are the perfect motorcycle boots. Not too high or too low, Great!

Best boots ever. No lie. Okay, so they took about a month to break in after exchanging the originally ordered size 6-1/2 for a size 7. But it was worth the work and then some! These boots have it all: attitude, an incredible look, and are insanely comfortable. I've had mine for over a year now, and they've taken all the abuse I dish out. I only wish I could order the taller version!

Like Butter! I have been jonesen for these boots for so long, now I have them! I have a big foot (size 11) and they make my feet look small. I also have a high instep. I have a little trouble getting them on with socks (I got the shorter version), but oh so worth the effort. They look fabulous with low slung, boot cut jeans. I am so glad it is getting colder so I can wear them, oh what the heck, I am going to wear them year round. They make my feet feel well protected and supported. You wont regret it, get them.

Excellent Boot - I have these boots in the taller, 12 inch version. They fit great, wear great, and look great. The name Frye equals great quality and the workmanship, and on this boot it shows through. Heavy duty leather that is smoothe and supple and takes the shape of your foot with only a short period of wear. If you happen to have a wide foot, this boot may be a tad tight on you, but for those of you who truly wear a medium width you will have no problem. If your into wearing a nice pair of faded jeans or even a nice long skirt, the taller version of this boot will look classic and perfect.

Sweet Boots! These Frye boots look great with jeans. My foot is a tad wide and had to have them stretched a bit, wish they came in wide widths. Thanks again Zappos, you have a customer for life!

very cute Although I wish they were a little taller, this boot looks GREAT! Not too dressy, but more feminine looking than the picture. They are a little narrow, but they stretch out after wear (so don't order larger than your size). I found them to be true to size; I wish I hadn't ordered a half size larger than usual. They look great with jeans, very sexy.

Great Boot. Absolutely love this boot.. It looks great with almost anything you wear. It does run a little narrow and needs some breaking in.

Awesome look! So hard to get on and off! Had to go a size up just so I could pull them on. Zipper would be helpful. Made in USA and the quality shows.

My foot is too long and narrow to work with these, despite the other reviews on how they run long and narrow. They are beautiful quality boots...great and versatile style. Thanks again Zappos for terrific service.

Nice boot. Way too narrow. Really narrow.These boots are not medium width. Could not get my foot very far into the boot. Very disappointing. Sending back.

What a surprise -- they fit! After trying these on in a local store (they only had the 12 inch ones and I wanted the 8 inch ones) I found, to my surprise, that with my size 39 (EU) or 8 to 8 1/2 size feet I needed a size 7 in these. Worried about ordering on line -- would they be the same as the ones in the store? They are! So I learned you can trust them to run consistent (at least within the harness line) and that (for me at least) it was necessary to order a whole size down. Should note that my feet are quite narrow. These felt pretty good right out of the box -- a little stiff and the heel slips a little but I'm told this slipping will stop once the boots conform to the foot. These are "Blazer Brown" which is actually much darker, and more "distressed" than it looks like on the web. A little disappointed that one toe has a noticeable impression -- like a staple mark -- and there is some glue near the seam on one boot. If I were fussy I'd ask to swap them but I'm so glad they fit -- I'm not taking them off my feet! Rarely get surprised in a positive way -- nice when it happens.

A little too roomy, esp in the heel - This boot does run large--it was not avail in my usual shoe size of 8, so I went with 8.5 thinking that would probably be about right for a boot. But it was much too big in the heel, especially (though not especially wide). Had to return.

it will last a life time - This boot has an awesome down to earth look. It is loose in the heel. I have high arches and is difficult to pull on but once on it feels amazing. I can fit slim socks in this boot only. Otherwise I cannot get them on. A rugged boot made to last a lifetime.

Bought these for riding; they have a higher arch than the Harley's and were easier to pull on. The heel is a bit wide for a woman's fit.

Square toe/tip should be slightly wider for better width fit - Was about one size larger than stated. If the toe was not so narrow, it would be 1 1/2 sizes larger. The narrowed toe made me get it larger than I needed to accomidate for all the empty space where it will never likely widen. I would have liked the toe slightly wider to have a more comfortable fit and size and avoid too much of a cowgirl illusion. Would have bought this style in a round toe in a heartbeat!!

Love These Boots! Just received my new Frye boots, and I fell in love with them as soon as I tried them on. They are true to size and very comfortable even before breaking them in, and they look great!
