8.5 W - EXTREMELY NARROW And, no, I don't expect to have to stretch them to fit, I know my size, I ordered it. FS has joined the ranks of cheep lazy manufacturers who have no pride in what they do and don't care if they break women's feet so long as they can save a few pennies on production. My feet are numb. And the Wide selection in this brand is pretty much three styles in one color.... Pathetic.

I ordered these several years ago to wear to work as a restaurant manager, because they were stylish and professional looking, yet comfortable. They were good at first, but as they broke in they were not as comfortable as I would have liked, but they were still good for the purpose. I had two children and was unable to wear them during and after pregnancy due to my feet swelling - no fault of the shoe. I pulled these out to wear to work the other day and the sole felt slippery, as if new. I tried to scuff them a little on the sidewalk and the WHOLE SOLE under the ball of my foot cracked and broke into little pieces, falling apart leaving me with gaping 2-3 inch holes in the soles of my shoes. They weren't new, but I have never had this happen, not even with really cheap shoes. For the price, supposed quality and Brand Recognition (I have had several pairs of Franco Sarto shoes and trusted the brand) I would not expect my shoe soles to crack and shatter like cheap brittle plastic.

These are not the same workmanship as my last pair. After wearing them to work one day, my forefoot started to hurt. I had the shoes stretched and also used gel inserts and that still did not help.

I agree with a previous review that these shoes are not the original Franco Sartos and probably being made cheaply. They are horribly uncomfortable, will not stretch at all after two weeks on a shoe stretcher. I bought a 6½W but that felt like a N. The leather is super hard and the sole is made of cheap rubber - nothing hard to support the feet from outside. Like if you step on a nail it will be in your foot. Do not buy these. They feel like they are made from iron. I am returning them. I am sad because liked the look.

I bought this exact shoe once before and LOVED them so much that when it was time to replace them (because I wore my last ones out) they were a HUGE disappointment. No idea what changed but my foot keeps falling out of them. I've had them 6 months now and tried various insoles to make up for it, nothing works. Don't waste your time on this shoe. I'm no longer a Franco Sarto customer!

I loved these shoes for its comfortable fit and style. But upon the first night I wore these shoes the heel began flaking off. It was as if the material they used for the heel was not able to withstand the shock of normal wear. The flaking was so bad that it made the shoe unstable. I expected more from Franco Sarto, I have two pairs of booties that I have worn to shreds over the years and these Nolan's didn't last one night. I will be very wary of any new Franco Sarto shoes I buy from now on.

These run about a full size too small. They were very uncomfortable even in the right size. Absolutely no comfort or padding. I think they look cheap. I ordered a pair of Clarks instead and they feel amazing!
