Overall these shoes fit my narrow feet with high arches. They look nice too. However, the top of the shoe presses into the top of my foot and big toe. I guess there's just not enough room in the toe box. I am normally a size 10 and ordered that size. I've tried to wear them thinking they'll loosen up, but they aren't. So, I'm looking for a new similar shoe to replace them.

Cute, professional shoe. However, I ordered a wide width and it’s still pretty narrow. Since I haven’t experienced this with other brands, it’s the shoe. I would not recommend them to anyone needing a wider width.

I prefer two pairs of shoes in W. One pair from another brand fit fine. As soon as I saw these shoes I knew their version of “wide” was not going to fit. The shoe was very narrow and I couldn’t even get my foot into the shoe halfway. Had to return.

The shoe itself looks great, and the material is really nice. The issue for me was the front “tongue” part of the shoe comes so far up the front of my foot it was too restricting. If compared to other loafer style heels, you’ll find they cut the front off about 1/2 inch past the toes.

Based on reviews read. I ordered 7.5W than my actual size 8 and was snug fit and felt narrower than marked. These shoes will have to be returned.

Cheaper looking in-person than expected.

Not sure if they are really made of leather. They have not stretched hardly any even after using leather stretching spray.

My last shoe measurement showed me as a size 8, C width. With that in mind, I ordered a size 8 W in this shoe. Sadly, I could not even get my foot in it. It was both much narrower than other Wide widths and seemed to be shorter than a typical size 8 as well. Since I couldn't even get these on, I can't comment on support or comfort.

Too long more like a size 8 than 7.5. Also very stiff but I imagine they would soften in time.

Purchased 8W, could not even get my foot into the shoe. If interested in ordering this shoe, you might want to try a size wider than you normally order.

I have owned these shoes in black for a number of years and love them. The length has always been a tad too long but nothing I couldn't put up with. Decided I needed to replace them and ordered another pair in black and also in brown. The brown feel at least a half size too large and the black actually seem a bit snug. Both are marked as the same size. I am disappointed that the sizing is so inconsistent.

Really liked the look of the shoes, but they were tight overall--size and width. I usually order a 10W, but these did not fit in that size. I'm going to try to 10.5W and see what happens.

Appearance: I wanted to like these so much! But sadly, when I tried them on, I felt they looked quite dowdy with the mainstay of my work wardrobe, pencil skirts. The front of the shoe just comes too high up on the foot, which visually shortens the leg, and the way that portion of the shoe curves away from the foot strikes me as extraneous and elfin. Quality: Fabulous leather, solid craftsmanship, well-made footbed. Fit: Just a tiny bit too narrow at the widest part of my foot. For reference, the front third portion of my foot (toes to ball of foot area) tends slightly toward the wide, while my heel area is narrow. I typically have success with M width shoes that run a bit roomy in the toe box and not too shallow at the toe. I strongly suspect these would stretch with wear and be perfectly comfortable (or, at least as comfortable as any high heeled shoe can be) but I have to face the fact that even if they did, I would very rarely wear them because I don't care for the look. Usually a Franco Sarto fan, I am very likely returning these.

These just weren't comfortable. they pinched my feet and by the end of the day, i felt like they had tortured my feet. I am sending them back

I wanted to love this shoe so bad -- it has a great heel height. And although there was plenty of room for my toes, unfortunately there was pressure on the big toe nail bed that I felt would present issues if I kept them.

I order these in wide, but they seemed more like medium width to me and they pinched my toes. They are very nice shoes, I hate to have to send them back.

There is a lot of variability in the way these shoes fit from pair to pair. I had to buy three pairs, two of which were the same size, in order to find the pair that fits me.

This shoe feels great and is very comfortable. Fit perfectly to my size. I am disappointed though that it is already falling apart after only moderate wear. one of the seams is coming apart and one sole had to be re-glued already. I've only had them 3-4 months, though I wear them 2-3 times per week and am not on my feet all day. I normally get much longer wear out of work shoes.

Very nice looking loafer, not too high of heel even coming from someone who doesn't like heels. But I found even with my on the narrow side foot, that the top of the shoe pushed down very uncomfortably on my foot. Had to return, but I did love the look of the shoe and it had very nice leather.

I liked the shoes but the toe area is not high enough. The leather presses down on my toes too much which made them very uncomfortable. And no, I don't have abnormally large toes.

I'm an 8M just shy of a wide, so I got the normal width based on all the reviews here. When the shoes came out of the box I had to laugh - whose feet are seriously THAT narrow? My feet are a good 50% wider than the shoe itself! Somehow, I managed to cram my dogs in there. Confident in the other reviews stating the leather would stretch I wore them to work one day (bringing along another pair for backup. I love you, Hush Puppies). I couldn't get through even 30 minutes of that torture. If they were wider they would have been a smooth heavenly fit. Thankfully Zappos has a great return policy. But if your feet are in the no man's land between widths... ORDER WIDER!

I bought three pairs of these shoes because I was having trouble figuring out the appropriate size. When I bought my normal size, they were way too big. I then went a half size down and they still slipped and had little puffs of air coming out from the shoe where it covered the top of my foot. So, I ordered a half size smaller than that and those were way too small. Overall, it's a nice looking shoe that is comfortable. However, I'll be returning all three pairs and my search will have to continue. But, Zappos is amazing with shipping and returns, so I'll continue to shop with them!

I originally got these in an 8.5 wide and a 9 regular and both were too small. So I ended up getting the 9 wide, which did fit. Style Review. These shoes are attractive and pretty comfortable. The leather is a good quality and the heel is an ideal height if you're looking for some lift but don't want to be tripping over your heels. Size Review: These do seem to run small, although that is obviously a matter of opinion. When measured at a shoe store, I was told I am a "B" in Width and do not need a "Wide" or "D" size; however, I have found it never hurts to opt for the Wide option. In the case of these shoes, it was 100% necessary to opt for the "Wide." Normally, I am anywhere from an 8.5 regular to a 9 wide. For this shoe, I required a 9 wide. Also Worth Noting: All three pairs of these shoes (all the same style, different size) made a farting noise when I wore them but I did wear them without socks when this happened, so that may be why! Overall - I would recommend these shoes to a friend but I would suggest you buy on the larger size.

I bought this pair of shoes for the style, but the comfort did not measure up. Even after a brake in period, they are still too uncomfortable for wearing all day long. There is nothing to stop your foot from slipping forward. But it is a great looking shoe if comfort is not important.
