Very nice shoe - I purchased the Yankee blue and gray color combination, being a New Yorker, I couldn't resist. The shoes are sturdy and comfortable, but still have that softness of the material around the top of the foot that makes Asics, the Tigers especially, so comfy. Color combination is your own preference, I suppose, but I've been receiving lots of compliments from Yankees fans, and everyone else, on my shoes.

Don't tell the "sneaker freaks"! Onitsuka Tigers are my new favorite shoes. It's tough to find cool sneakers that aren't played out, too expensive, or just crummy. Tigers are light, breathable, and aren't super narrow (like most Adidas), so if your feet are a little wide, these should fit great. Other reviewers have mentioned that they are insubstantial -- true, they are light and don't have a lot of support (duh, they were designed in 1977!). I have high arches so I just get some nice 3/4 length heel cup/arch supports and these babies are super comfy. I had some Ultimate 81s before and loved them, so now I got some Gantrais. So far, I dig them! Can't wait for the new styles to hit Zappos!

Tiger rocks - I'm a big Asics fan. They just fit me better than any other shoe. The Tiger is no exception. I wouldn't run in them, of cours they're really just for show. But they look great. An awesome retro look. Not much arch support, so if that's important you might want to look elsewhere.

the best looking shoes ever - I really love these shoes... the style, comfort and everything. It looks just great. Look kind of sporty and casual at the same time. If mine gets old, I'm definitely getting one again.

Great sneaker - Great casual sneaker. Love them! If you are wearing with shorts, either wear no socks or low cut socks.

Hot - These shoes are excellent and have earned me lavish praise for my fashion sense and intelligence. Great fit (order 1/2 a size bigger), light in weight, comfortable. They come with extra laces that are blue, so whatever your tastes are, Tiger's got you covered.

Great Shoes! These shoes look great and are so comfortable! They come with a pair of solid shoelaces that I think look better than the striped ones shown in the photo. I am not a sneaker person at all, but I love these!

LOVE EM'!!!!!!! These shoes are amazing, I was so surpised that after walking around for 6 hours my feet didn't hurt, these shoes are super comfy and very stylish, I love em'.

Tiger Feedback - This is a comfortable and stylish shoe. While Puma is in the process of being overexposed, Tigers have yet to be worn by the masses. Be the first one on your block.

Valmeyer, IL - I really like these shoes. They look cool, fit well, have a good arch, and last a long time. Since I live in Illinois, I bought the Asics Gantrai because they have a lot of traction. I like that they have holes in the sole so your feet can breathe. Overall, a great shoe.

Retro Tigers - The shoes are great. I had a pair over 20 years ago. My son loves them and wants a pair.

LOVE EM! I absolutely love these shoes (I got the smoke/red ones). Best athletic shoes I've bought in a long time. They've got a kindof "climbing" shoe vibe to them, and I LOVE IT.

Great shoe. I got the yellow/brown color and at first I thought they looked too much like hiking boots, but I got over it. Get lots of compliments on them. They are quite comfortable, and are great if you have a narrow foot like me (consequently, might be tight if you have a wide foot). I have a pair of Mexico 66's, which I like, but can hardly wear for more than an hour because they have no support. These have plenty of support and look great too.

love these shoes!! These are hands down the most comfortable, light-weight, and stylish athletic shoes I've ever owned. there doest seem to be any excess material anywhere; they are totally streamlined for comfort and flexibility, and I get tons of compliments! I love them!

Yay - Great shoe. Just took them to disney world and had no problems. I've gotten lots of compliments too.

Better than I expected - First off, I just have to comment on the shipping. I've ordered from Zappos several times, so I knew they ship really fast. But these shoes arrived 21 hours(ordered at 8pm Tues, received 5pm wed) after placing my order. Incredible. The shoes are very comfortable and look amazing. I got the red/white color combo and they look just like they do in the pics. I have only had them for an hour, but I can tell there is little arch support. I am sure they are just fine for casual wear. I've read some reviews where people use these for working out. These are 'athletic shoe inspired' style shoes. I wouldn't work out with them.

OXYGEN? well, these shoes are excellent, low profile but hot and sexy at the same time. I've definetly become at least 13 and a half points cooler with these. They are also good for playing shuffleboard. The one thing that I dislike is the lack of breathabliity.

Great Shoe - I'm used to the Ultimate 81 line from Onitsuka Tiger and the first pair I got was a little tight (width), but I ordered an additional half-size up and they fit much better. Since Zappo's doesn;t make you pay for return shipping this was very easy!

Excellent - Love the color, the style and the comfort.

COULDN'T BE BETTER - I love everything about this shoe. One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever owned. Worth every penny!

Great Shoe - I have a couple of old Tigers from the period. I started running (Late 70's) and bought these mostly for nostalgic reasons...but I love them and wear them frequently but mostly for casual wear. I always get alot of comwents about where I got them, and I tell them :ZAPPOS.

Asics - I feel the asic gantrai is a great shoe for comfort or otherwise.
