The Onitsuka is an awesome shoe! You can't go wrong with a shoe designed by a mountain climber. The shoe has outstanding traction, they look even better than they feel (which is like a feather). I bought two pairs of the yankee grey and blue one's to run in and one to wear out to the bars. This shoe feels and looks great in anything or anywhere. All-in-all it's one bad mutha!

Best non-leather sneakers ever! I bought a pair of these for my husband and myself. We are both vegan and were desperately seeking cool, fashionable sneakers that were not made of any animal skin. These are perfect and so comfortable. I'm going to order more!

Look and Feel great. These are some great looking shoes. They are nice and small and work well with jeans and everything since they aren't so bulky. I have the red and grey versions and they are very striking and stylin'. Not as comfy as a super padded running or skate shoe, but worth the trade off and they're comfy as long as you aren't walking over 10 miles or running laps.

Great shoe- This is a really great, comfortable shoe. And it's vegan too! The only thing is that I had to buy insoles for it, to make it perfectly comfortable. So now I’m totally gellin'. Also, as others have recommended, I find that you should buy Asics a half size bigger than what you normally wear. Definitely a nice shoe, and hopefully it will be as long lasting as my previous Asics.

Vegan athletic shoe that looks cool - I bought them in all 5 colors; I had to exchange this for a full size bigger than my usual shoe size. I'd prefer it if it was offered in a wider width. Zappos service is the best and fastest!

Stylish yet comfy - This sneaker is great. Not only is it extremly stylish, it is also very comfortable!

Simply the best! These shoes are wonderful for many reasons. It's threefold. First, they look great... Second, they're comfortable... but most importantly, they are made without any leather or part of animals.

I love these!!! I was reluctant to order sneakers on line, since fit is so important, but i took a chance on the red/ecru tiger's. They are perfect. So comfortable, that I don't feel like I have shoes on. Good support, light weight, breatheability, and they look fantastic!

Lots of compliments on this shoe - I've had this shoe for about a year. I get compliments on it all the time! The colors are very feminine, but it is definitely urban. It is very lightweight too. Wouldn't recommend for "real" athletics, but a great knock-around shoe for shopping, getting to work, etc.

I love this shoe - I am very active in this shoe. No matter what it is that I do, my feet feel fine. Also, my feet do not slip and slide around inside the shoe. My foot is held snuggly inside, making for a better workout experience.

Another satisfied customer - I love the look and feel of this shoe. Surprisingly comfortable to walk in considering the low arch. Again, the shipping was quick and efficient.

great shoe - fit in length and width

Flat out hot - These shoes look spectacular. I bought the yankee gray/white and am contemplating the red/ecru I like them so much. others have complained about how hard the footbed is, but it's been my experience that all onitsukas need cushion inserts to really be comfortable. slip in your favorite kind and you will be just fine for casual wear. is anyone really desecrating these babies by running in them? Get saucony shadows if you want all-day comfort with a some style.

Onitsuka Tiger Gantrai COOL! I LOVE this shoe! I have been wearing Tiger's forever and am thrilled with this style. It looks great and is very comfortable. It is a great casual shoe. I also bought a pair for my son, 17, and he loves them, too! I would not recommend wearing it as a gym shoe as there is not enough support, however for light work you may.

Valmeyer IL - I made a mistake in my review a while ago. I meant that the insole has holes in them. The outsole has great traction though. Still loving the shoes. I've had them for about four months now and have had no problems

These shoes are dope like soap~ These shoes are great. I love the fact that most people out there don't have 'em, plus they are very comfortable and made with really high quality materials.I love the way they look too. I would also highly recommend buying from Zappo's. I did the 4-5 day shipment, and for the heck of it Zappos sent it in 2 days for no additional charge. Niiiice.

Love these shoes, and so does everyone else who sees them. They are not as bulky in person as they are in the photo, which is a good thing. Super fast shipping. Ordered at 7 pm and they were at my house the next day at 2 pm.

Got The Right Fit -

great shoe! I bought this shoe because I was wearing my trail runners to the gym, and I didnt want to destroy them...and what I buy! Comfort, super light, and the tread is good indoors or outdoors!

Great "casual" shoe. This is a great shoe. Not a great shoe for running, but I didn't buy it to run in. Great casual shoe that sits true on the foot. Highly recommended.

Birthday Present - My son picked them out and I just ordered. They arrived very quickly. He opened them and just loved them. A very distinctive looking shoe.

Ouchie - I have a pair of these and the soles are so hard that they're actually hurting my feet! I don't know what's up - maybe I just got the wrong size. If you like the look of the Tigers, I would get the Mexico 66 instead. They are more pliable. The break-in on the Gantrai is totally hurts.
