Great shoe - I love this shoe...very comfortable and form fitting...true too size.

Great business - Everyone loves Zappos.com. I'd heard that but truly understood why when I finally place my first order. These shoes were exactly as shown, true to size and the shipping was unbelievable! I ordered at 6 pm and UPS showed up with them the next day around 2 WOW.

Love 'em! I really like these shoes, as far as fashion tennies go. They have a great structure and a feel like a hiking shoe, or other outdoor shoe, which I like. I got the tan/red ones, they are very subtle and not too flashy or weird. I think they are great.

Well what can I say, this shoe is about as hot as hot can be, I wore these out to some of the best clubs in Hollywood and let me tell you, I received about 100 compliments in one night. Everybody wanted to know where I got them, I told everybody Zappos.com.

Shoe looks great. Fits like it should. Runs a little narrow just like other Asics's.

I ordered these 2 days before going on a trip and got them the day before I left. When I first put them on they were tight, but I hadn't worn new sneakers in years, so maybe it was just me. The right shoe felt perfect, but for some reason the left shoe dug into my toe and made it hurt when I walked. I used them on my trip, which hurt my big toe a lot, but I managed. After wearing them for a month, both shoes are comfortable and fit perfectly. I get a lot of compliments for them. Get a half-size smaller, as everyone says.

Scaling back my initial enthusiasm... I posted a very positive review on Dec. 22, but I'm not so happy with the shoes now. After 3 months of pretty heavy wear, the heel on the right shoe has worn unevenly, so that my feet hurt if I try to walk around in these shoes. So I loved them for the first 3 months, but I'm disappointed to be throwing them out so soon!

Comfortable Solid Sneaker - Enjoy having stylish vegan choices and this fits the bill. The sneaker is well made and feels comfortable. The only issue was that the sizing was too small. I ordered my normal size of 8 and it was too small so I needed to replace them with a half size larger. Extra bonus is that they come with an extra pair of shoelaces in a different color.

Great looking shoe, but not super comfortable - I really like the way these shoes look, but the sole is kind of stiff and there is no arch support. Also the upper lining is made out of rubber stuff that gets stuck to my socks when I'm trying to put them on. That is kind of annoying. Other than that, I really like these!

So-so - I bought the khaki/light khaki Gantrai’s, but I am pretty picky about size so I sent them back. That was my fault though, I ordered them too big. Anyway, I thought they were pretty nice looking; the only complaint was the knobby sole. I think if you are doing some hiking or whatnot, this shoe would be better suited for you than if you just want one for daily use. I would recommend the ultimate 81 for that.

More looks than comfort - I ordered these shoes for their looks and they didn't disappoint me! There isn't any cushion in the sole though. I plan to get some gel insoles. Certainly not like other Asics I've had.

Way too big! The women’s sizes are way too big, at least a half or whole size too large. The shoe is cute, but I wear an 8.5 normally, so I got a 6.5 men’s, and I really needed a 6 once I tried them on, but by then they were sold out…They are kind of manly, but cute. It's the cleats; you kind of look like you're going out to play soccer.

I got these in the gunmetal/birch and agree with another reviewer that said part of them look purple in certain light. I did find that they ran a bit long, perhaps a 1/2 size bigger. I wouldn't run or workout in them due to their lack of support, but they definitely are great for daily wear with jeans or khakis. I'm very happy with my purchase and would always recommend Zappos.com!

Fun Shoes - I loved these shoes, and get mainly positive comments, but ever since someone called them McDonald's shoes I can't help but think that when I look at them. Comfort wise the support feels like your basic throw-back shoe, but for some reason they are slightly uncomfortable on top of my arches, I loosened the laces but they still seem to pinch or pressure the top of my foot a bit after long wear.

Onitsuka Tiger by Asics's Gantrai - They look great. I've gotten plenty of compliments, and would buy the pair in green if they had my size. However, I bought a size 9 (and usually wear between an 8.5 and 9) and they're a little big -- but I have narrow feet.

Look great! These sneakers look fantastic, mine felt a little stiff at first, but they didn't take long to break in.

Tiger - Good looking and mostly comfy but add a padded insole for better comfort - needed to order 1/2 size smaller than normal.

Super cute. Comfy? Well..... I bought these shoes in two different colors and they are definitely some of the cutest shoes I have ever owned. I love that they have so many colors available without leather! That said, the bottoms of the shoes are not super thick and there's not a lot of padding inside. They are fine for normal wear, but after walking for several miles they can start to make the dogs bark a bit. I'd probably buy them again though just because they are so cute!

Be a Tiger! The sharp lines of this shoe, along with it's rare and simple style are the reasons I purchased this sneaker. I was surprised at how well the shoe wraps around my foot with comfotable snuggness. An ideal design for the foot that enjoys to feel the trail, cliff, rock, or whatever the road throws in its way.

First of all, these shoes really are super cute! I got the red, blue and grey ones and I get tons of compliments. But, they are not very supportive, I put gel insoles in mine and that helped a lot. I would not recommend these for people with wide feet, they are super narrow! It took me a while to break them in, but now they are fine.

Very smooth ride! I have wide feet- C/D width- and a high arch and usually have to get a full size lager in most sneakers as I did with the Tiger. Some sneakers will then rub my heel but the Tiger fits well and snugly. My only gripe with these (being over 50) is that it could use some more padding in the sole for those several mile walks.

The other reviews gave me the impression that the Asics Gantrai would have more support than the Onitsuka Ultimate 81's. But when I put these puppies (baby dogs) on, they didn't feel too good. I figured I'd have to break them in, but breaking them in involves your foot changing to make up for the lack of support. I played a concert where I was standing for a solid three hours and by the end my feet and lower back were killing me. I didn't wear the shoes again until I bought some insoles for them, and now they fit fine. Very good for walking and I actually ran in them a bit.

Surprisingly excellent- I bought these shoes because they are fully synthetic without any leather trim, which is rare. Unlike most shoes in the retro track shoe category (Puma, etc), these have relatively stiff soles, which is actually a bit refreshing and makes them more stable and substantial. I was a little worried about the red/white/blue color scheme, but they are subdued and surprisingly attractive. I'm not a big fan of the cleats rising to the nose of the shoe, but that's a very minor detail and overall I love the comfort and styling of these shoes. I half expected to return them, but wear them all the time. Highly recommended!
