I found these very stiff. The sole seems too long making my heel slide inside and refuses to flex much. Although they are the right size. they look good and will probably last a long time if I can break these in. The brand is known for being green so that helps.

These shoes run small and they are not that comfortable. I wish I bought a half size bigger and got some comfortable insoles.

I love the style and workmanship of this shoe, but it is quite uncomfortable because it's a half size too small and a bit narrow. It took some wear to realize it hurts my feet. Maybe it will stretch.

This shoe was good length and width but not toe box. It rubbed on the top of my big toe and little toes so I had to return it. Otherwise seems good. It has padded insole, padded ankles and a nice distressed vintage look to it.

This is really sad for me because I want to love these shoes. I love that they're made with recycled tires and hemp. But they hurt my feet. Right across the uh, knuckles? of my toes? If you look at your toes, and count back three bones, that's where it hurts, every step. The thick and stiff fabric right at where the eyelets are closest to the toes compresses down onto my foot bones, and after a day of walking around, it feels like I'm bruised. I want to love these shoes, but I can't. All those years of looking at the ads in Wired magazine, and I finally bought a pair... sigh.

things fall apart. granted i bought these 5 years ago, After wearing them ONE SEASON, the inside liner completely wore out. That sucked. I love the shoes and style, but sorry man, i need a shoe that LASTS.

Love these shoes. Super light but holding up great (roughly 1 month). Super comfortable. Great for casual/daily wear. Sole is a little thin, and water does seem to get through fairly easy. Dried out easy as well.

Simple has been basically the only brand shoes I've owned for the past 16-18 years. Tried other brands, but always come back to these. Not so happy with the pair I bought last year. Though the shoe is comfortable as they always have been, the stitching in the front toe area has come unraveled on my otherwise good condition shoes with plenty of tread life left. I think their quality has gone down over the years, these shoes used to take more punishment, although that was the previous version of "old school" with the rubber toe ends. I'm going to buy another pair in the hopes this current defect was a one off mistake. Hopefully that's the case as I am probably their most loyal customer ever and would hate to have to find another brand.

Best shoe I have ever worn, I have been wearing then for 20 years. Now that they are no longer made I can't find anything close.

Handsome shoe for style-conscious urban teenager. Good fit but no arch support, so get inserts.

Great classic look. The shoes are extremely comfortable, and very sturdy. These are good looking shoes with the best comfort-ability. Pick a pair up before they sell out.

I have been trying different styles of shoes from Zappos, mailing shoes back and forth at least several times at no extra cost.I was starting to feel a bit guilty. Finally, the Old School sneaker fit the bill. Thank you Zappos.

These are the fourth pair of Simple shoes I have purchased. I couldn\'t be happier with these OS Sneakers. I wanted a comfortable, durable shoe that I could wear with shorts or jeans. These fit the bill perfectly. They were comfortable right out of the box, and have the look I preferred. I didn\'t want to look like I was going to participate in a marathon, and I also didn\'t want to look like I was going skateboarding. They will be perfect for my Caribbean cruise!

These have been my favorite shoe since high school (90's). I currently have a pair that I've worn for 2 years, and I'm not easy on shoes. Great durable shoe, classic look.

I bought this shoe and I like it very much. It is not the most comfortable shoe to wear but I like its look and simplicity. The shoelaces are also wide and prominent.

What can I say. Simple makes a pretty bomber-solid sneaker. I\'ve been wearing mine for a month straight. No complaints.

Very stylish and extremely comfortable. I ordered one-half size larger than a regular shoe. This works for me with all types of sneakers.
