These shoes are great; I have had several pairs of them over the years and can hardly give them up at the end of their life. I most likely would not, if my wife and kids did not demand their disposal! They wear really well, look great, not too trendy...They are comfy especially after 3-4 years when they get really broken in, and stinky. I will not hesitate to get another pair when I wear these out. Enjoy!

I love this shoe. I have been buying this style off and on for about 10 years now. It is a little stiff at first, but once you wear it in, you don’t want to take it off. I do have high arches and have to wear insoles if I wear them all day because there is little arch support, but I have to do that with most all my shoes.

I actually bought these shoes as a gift and I would never buy shoes as a gift anywhere besides Zappos. And here is why... My brother decided that though he had out these shoes on his list that he would buy them for himself (also from Zappos) two weeks prior to Christmas. I found out when I saw him at a holiday event wearing the shoes I had already wrapped up for him. But with Zappos it was no big deal. Their return policy and willingness to pay for shipping worked out well because he could also use dress shoes. So Zappos saves the day even in the face of my brother's idiocy.

These shoes are too comfortable, they make my work shoes feel awful in comparison! I have been wearing these shoes for close to fifteen years, not the same pair, mind you, but only five pairs over that whole time. They have the perfect amount of cushion around the ankle, not too much like a lot of skate sneakers and not too little like every other shoe. Best driving shoe ever! Great for flat feet! I have very little arch and neither do these shoes, that sounds like a problem, but it isn't; instead they feel great. I have a pair of Brooks for running and hours of walking, but these hold up for pretty long walks, too. Great for the environment! The only downside is that Simple needs to make some new designs. They had one with a rally strip on the side, but it went away. They need to make a shoe that looks like a Converse or Puma. The Creeper and Carload looks cool, but they need to stick with the OS sole and less recycled stuff. I know it's good for the environment, but the OS lasts like 3 years; isn't durability also good for the environment?

We gave this shoe to my Dad for Christmas. He put them on immediately and loves them. They are very sturdy and made from all ecologically sustainable and recycled materials. They look great. They are very cool.

I bought these for my boyfriend as an early Christmas present because he wanted them so badly (he watches Curb Your Enthusiasm and Larry David always wears these shoes). He is usually a 10-10.5, and we had to go with the 10. He absolutely loves them! He says they fit well and are very comfortable, which is good since he wears them every day.

Super fun rain boot and quality made as well. It does run short and it\'s smart to buy a size larger to ensure room for socks and maybe an insole.

This will be my third pair of simple old schools. These are by far my favorite shoe ever. This is my third pair and I intend to get more when these wear out. These are pretty durable with regular use. They are very comfortable, and doesn't take long to break in. I'll keep getting these as long as I can find them. They are a very cool basic style which I like. The kickball red sole is nice, too.

Nice! A+ company(Zappos)! And a very comfortable and stylish shoe! I have been wearing this same style and (sadly) the same color of shoes, Simple OS jungle green, for about 12 years now, since I bought my first pair around 1996 or so with an occasional change in color. I mean I have wanted to wear other shoes, but every time I shop for a different brand or style I can't find anything that suits me like my Simples, so I always end up buying another pair of these Simple O.S. So you can think that I am closed minded, but you can be sure that these are a really nice pair of sneakers! And if you do decide to buy a pair, get 'em from Zappos.com! These guys make customer service a priority! Never had any regrets dealing with these guys! And of course I have shopped with them for more than just a pair of Simple OS jungle green!

These are simply great! They are very comfortable and I need a shoe that I can walk in for a long period of time - these fit the bill.

Nothing fancy about this shoe, just a Simple shoe that is comfortable and does what it should. I like that Simple is, or at least appears to be, an environmentally conscious company. Seems like they are well built and will hold up. I wish they had more arch support but I have yet to find a shoe with enough for me. I would buy another pair and recommend these to a friend.

These shoes are awesome! I ordered these shoes for my 17-year-old vegetarian daughter. She loves them as do my other two daughters. Extremely comfortable, well made, and they look good, too. Highly recommended.

Love it! Bought this sneaker for my husband and he loves it! They're very comfy. He's had these same ones a while back and was happy to find them again as you can't get them in too many places (except Zappos!). Wonderful product.

Love these! This is my fourth pair of the O.S. sneaker, and the first that I've ordered from Zappos. They are super comfortable from day one. I buy mens because I have a problem with my right foot and need a shoe that is wide in toe area. They arrived the next day and I am very pleased with such quick service. Will be ordering again!
