Great shoe. It's always Simples for me. These shoes look great & last forever (well, two years) without costing too much. The Jungle Green is a nice, dark green - almost a greenish brown. Like an Olive Drab that isn't drab at all. Looks great with blue jeans.

My only sneaker - I have wide feet. I don't like white sneaks. Most other dark ones are still too flashy for me but not the OS. They are my tried and true favorites. Of course I wish they were made in the US but I guess you have to take the bad with the good. I always get compliments as they are not as widely known on the east coast as others. I will always love my O.S. Incidentally I have 2 old pairs in the closet for yard work/gym so my hobbit feet don't stretch them out prematurely.

Stopping the squeak is easy. I like these shoes and just like other reviews have stated, the squeak will drive you insane. I fixed the squeak in 15 seconds with a piece of duct tape. I put a piece of duct tape up against the heel area and the squeak was gone..... period.

Expect greatness with the Simple sneaker - It's Simple. What else is needed to say? A great basic shoe without all the hideous plastic stuff.

Outstanding shoe, outstanding service - I purchased these shoes at Zappos when a friend was unable to find them elsewhere. After wearing through the first pair, he found that he really had to have a second. He is a chef and spends a lot of time on his feet; so comfort is extremely important. Zappos' service was truly outstanding!

Old School - If the O.S. doesn't stand for old school it should. The shoe all other skater shoes are modeled on, and for good reason. They break in quickly, and once they break in there is no shoe more comfortable.

Excellent sneaker appeal - I wish more people would make sneakers in this style. I really love the look and it is the right design for someone like me with large feet. Has a shape and look similar to the old converse canvas shoes but is thicker and more comfortable. It is a perfect shoe except that if I am standing for long periods of time my feet get a tired, I think that the sole is a little thinner than I would like. The fit is perfect. I notice it squeaks more often than any other shoe I have, but it is mostly if I am on laminated tile and change direction quickly. The shoe doesn't squeak continuously or anything like that so it is not really noticeable.

Great all around comfortable shoe - One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have had in a long long time. They fit great and they look great and I have no complaints whatsoever.

These shoes are awesome! I love these shoes! They're both stylish & comfortable. I have an older pair (sand color) that have been demoted to lawn mowing shoes. I recently ordered a blue pair and I am very happy with them. The blue color looked more aqua / teal on the website, but it's actually a darker, navy blue color.

I hope Simple makes this shoe forever - This is the best shoe I've ever worn. I have had about six pairs of this style in different colors over the years. The quality has always been the same. They last much longer then other sneakers. They look great. They are comfortable.(hint: you may want to order these 1/2 larger then usual) On top of that, Simple is a good company with good ethics and practices.

Awesome shoes, awesome price - I'm a huge fan of shoes in general. I've worn probably every brand. Just recently, I brought every pair I have home from college and left only my Simples as my everyday pair. These shoes are astoundingly comfortable and durable. I'd highly recommend them to any person (especially students who are on their feet a lot) who needs a comfy pair of shoes at an affordable price.

My favorite sneaker EVER - These are my favorite sneaker ever -- I've been wearing my tumbled leather pair for more than 10 years and waiting, waiting, WAITING for Simple to get over their suede fixation and bring them back in real leather (is it just me or do suede shoes scream 70s in a really bad way). Anyhow, my old ones fell apart and I bit the bullet. The suede is not as bad looking as I feared and the fit is everything I've come to know and love. I'd still kill for a pair in regular leather, but I'll survive. By the way - I'm a girl and buy 2 sizes down (normally a 9.5, I wear a 7.5 in men's Simples). These are the perfect sneaks for knocking around (you know, hoping from stone to stone in stream, playing kickball with the kids, that sort of thing). I bought a kid's pair for my son and can't wait until my daughter's old enough for them!

O.S. Sneaker - Comfy, cool and well built. No, not Angelina Jolie! The O.S. Sneaker. This is my 3rd pair of Simples and I have loved them all and I am not easy to please when it comes to shoes. Zappos is the best place to shop. I'll never buy shoes anywhere else! Easy to shop and the shoes were at my door in 2 days. Thank you!

Greatest Shoes Ever - I've been looking for these for years after Simple kind of disappeared for a while. I'm so glad I found them again! I had two pairs of these about 10 years ago, in the green and blue-ish grey, and both pairs were fantastic. I wore them all the time, unless my brother stole them to wear, and then it was really hard to get them back. Great, great shoes!

The best - These are the best sneakers...I love all them...wish they had a few more color options…I own 6 pairs and they have been great sneakers...I got pairs for all types of activities…just love them...

2050 Stars - I will never buy a different brand of shoe than Simple as long as they're available. My last pair of Simples finally died after almost 3 years with regular skate sessions throughout. Durable and comfortable. Perfect. Unless you need a high-top for your ankles, there is no other shoe to skate in.

Impossible to find - I live near a large mall with many shoe stores and they don't carry this brand, my favorite since I was a kid. These are exactly what I wanted and received the shoes quicker than anything I have ever ordered.

Alternative to white tennis shoes - Got these for my husband as an alternative to his ubiquitous white tennis shoes. He actually likes them and says they were comfortable right from the start.

Great shoe but... The shoe is just what it says. They run a little big in the length of the foot, but they seem to be wearing pretty good. DO NOT walk on vinyl, or linoleum when the soles are wet! You will bust your rear on the floor... Great shoe other than the above mentioned...

Great shoes. They feel great and look great. The size 13s I ordered fit very well. Look forward to having them for a long long time. Additionally... Zappo's service was fantastic. The shipping is very fast.

GREAT CHOICE! I bought this shoe for my husband not being 100% sure how he'd like it. Turns out he loves this sneaker! Comfortable, sturdy, looks great... He didn't want to exchange it for any other shoe.

Baja made Simple - I purchased my sneakers before going to Mexico for the better part of a week to see the Baja 1000 race. We had to pack light for our plane trip so these were the only shoes I took. I never regretted my decision for a moment. They were comfortable through all the desert walking and also in the cramped compartment of our Cessna. Fantastic! These shoes are immortal! I got a pair when I entered high school, and wore them every day until I got to college. They are comfortable from day one through year 3.5, and never wear out or fall apart. I highly recomend them to anybody of any age or gender.

Best shoe ever - I had had a pair of these years ago that had finally fallen apart (mind you that's after a good five years). I missed them so much I just had to get another pair, and ended up buying two pairs. Plain and simple, I love these shoes!
