These shoes are great. The heel rubbed for a few days, but they have broken-in nicely. They were comfortable out of the box and just get more and more comfortable. The toe box has plenty of room, and they seem to do well with moisture. My feet haven't been excessively sweaty when I take the shoes off. The sole has excellent grip and seems very durable. I got the blue color and they look great with jeans, though the light portions such as the laces are a more natural, tan color than they are white, so be aware of that. I can't attest to the durability yet, but they seem really well made and I think they will last a long time. Overall, a great shoe if you are into the classic, simple styling and enjoy comfortable shoes!

I've been wearing this style shoe almost daily now for the past three years. These babies are comfy and they look fresh. I used to buy these at Sportmart until those guys went out of business and now I just ordered my 3rd or 4th pair from Zappos. I heart them.

I'm wearing them now and they feel great! They're well padded. I barely feel them on my long walks and have a sturdy sole that really grips the ground and contours well to my foot. I have no complaints whatsoever and, as always, Zappos was awesome.

I gave it as a present. They said is outstanding. I am buying more next month. My nephew loves it. Every day he takes it to school.

I really love these shoes! I had some in high school and decided to try them as an adult. They look cool with jeans or shorts. I'm considering the green and the black as well. I wouldn't want to wear them for sports because they would be a little stiff, but for casual shoes they're great! Definitely worth it and the company strives to be eco friendly.

These shoes are really comfortable. My foot is a little wide, and usually it takes me a while to break shoes in, but these have felt great since I first tried them on.

I had a pair of these shoes a few years ago and absolutely loved them. Somewhere, they got lost along the way. I was looking for a pair of shoes that was a bit thicker than my Vans Authentics, but not quite as beefy as the New Balances that I had. I found the Simple Old School Sneakers and instantly nostalgia'd. I bought a pair the next day. These shoes do not squeak like other people say, and they are going about 2 months strong. A lot of people say this has moderate arch support, that's probably a good thing since my foot is as flat as can be. I have no complaints about these shoes whatsoever. Also, I found out that these shoes are also worn by Larry David from Curb Your Enthusiasm. I would like to buy a pair of Simple Gummies soon.

I wear these at the office. Very comfortable although a bit warm if you're accustomed to wearing Chacos sandals like me. Anyway, a whole lot better than dress shoes! The shoes seem well made and I like the no-frills style. I'd recommend a pair of Superfeet insoles if you plan on walking a lot with these. I'm happy with my purchase and plan to get another pair in another color. Zappos, as usual, is spot on for order confirmation and shipping.

Great casual shoe that matches with just about everything. I have have owned three pairs altogether.

Love these shoes; they're the same now as they were 15 years ago -- the last time I bought them.

This is by far one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have owned. Plenty of padding in the sole makes for quite an enjoyable walking experience. Another plus is the durability of these shoes. The hemp stitching means that these shoes will last longer without tearing at the seams. Overall a wonderful buy and a strong recommendation from me.

I was really happy with expedited shipping (no complaints there). I've never had a Simple before and so I was unsure at first what to expect. I found that my pair fits perfectly and looks very stylish. I wear it around town when I'm off work and I've had some nice compliments.

I just got my 4th pair of Simple Old School Sneakers from Zappos (arrived in 28 hours!). Been rocking these kicks since 1998 and they're comfortable, good-looking, affordable, and durable (I abuse/wear mine just about every day).

Now this is a nice shoe! I Had trouble finding a nice knock-around sneaker. And this is it! I have a wide foot but the D width fit perfect. Nice style, good looking, comfy, supportive and simple!

Love all Simple shoes, already getting compliments and ppeople asking where I got these shows because they don't sell them in stores where I live.

This is the 3rd pair I buy for my husband, he loves them! The only complaint, he says they have no arch support.

Great shoes. Everyone should get shoes this reliable and comfy. I ordered 4 pairs, they won by a long shot and they accepted the returns like it was no big thing. Just like shopping at the store but a heck of a lot easier and no lines.

Great shoe - These shoes were comfortable right out of the box...I have a wide foot (EE) and they fit fine in reg. size. I got the sand color... looks better than it did online (looked green online)..Very good all day shoe. Zappos is awesome!!

These shoes are awesome - These shoes look really great - I bought them for my husband. He usually likes Vans, but he really loves these shoes. He likes them a lot and had no break-in period with them. Also, Zappos rocks as I got these after a return!

Larry David and I agree… Excellent sneaker. (He wears the sand color, I wear the blue). Comfortable, roomy, cushioned, retro cool, a pleasure to look at and wear. I highly recommend this sneaker and Zappos is the place to get it. Thanks Big Z. You came through again as always.

Fantastic! Love this shoe. Great design that looks both modern and retro at the same time. A soft but supportive feel.

Great shoe, I wish it was my size - I really like these shoes. People compliment them regularly, too. I have a wide toe span, but narrow heel. If they offered this shoe in a 10 1/2 E, I'd buy more.

Great old school shoes - These shoes look great and feel good. They're not as comfortable as tennis shoes, but more comfortable than other shoes that I tried that have an old-school look.
