Great Shoe - Great Price - This shoe turned out to be exactly what my son was looking for and it's hard to find good looking, comfortable shoes in size 15! I, personally liked the price.

Good stuff - I've worn Converse All-Stars for the past 9 or 10 years, but they tend to fall apart rapidly (I guess I'm rough on shoes) and they were always awful to wear in the rain. Now I've found a shoe with a similar attitude but a better feel and durability.

excellent - So, this is my first pair of Simples, and I love them. The break-in time seems longer than most shoes, but it's worth it. Now they are so darn comfortable. Well made. It seems like they will last a good long while. An excellent shoe. I gave it a 4 for comfort only because it took me a while to break them in, but I think that will go up to a 5.

Rockin' Loved these shoes! Mistreated them though, lasted for about 2 years, probably longer if I would've just untied them before I took them off.

Simple Old School Sneaker - Great shoe. This is my third pair. One I have had 5 years, one 3 years, and I just bought my third pair. They last forever, the only thing is it is hard to gauge the size. I knew what size to buy only because I've bought them before. I usually wear a 12, but in Simples, I wear a 10-10.5 In addition, zappos shipped VERY quickly (I got it over a weekend).

AMAZING SHOES - I've had these shoes for about 1 year wearing them almost everyday and they're still comfortable and not completely worn out. They do not wear out fast and last long compared to all my other shoes. I'm so impressed, I'm getting another pair.

Great shoe - Love the look, comfortable too! I couldn't find these anywhere and then I came across this site. I love the retro look and they are as comfortable as they look.

I thought they were quite comfortable and still do months later. Although they are noisy, squeaky shoes. I thought about returning them but maybe they would quiet down in time. Maybe a little.

This shoe seems to be built more for style than for comfort. The sole is very firm and heavy so I don't recommend using this shoe for a lot of walking. The shoe did require a short 2 or 3 day break-in period. I took 1 star away on comfort for hard sole and 1 more for it being quite heavy. That being said, the shoe is definitely comfortable enough to wear for casual settings and I am happy with my purchase.

I had been wanting a pair of these for years so finally pulled the trigger last month. I like them, but don't love them. They look sort of like Kleenex boxes on the end of my skinny legs (in shorts) and are hard soled (clunky). But the quality is high and they feel like they will last forever.

These shoes are just what I was looking for...simple, nice looking, and casually comfortable. They are not walking or running shoes and offer minimal arch support or cushion. They are great for driving, shopping or other non-exercise activities.

This is my first purchase of Simple shoes. I love the style, and the fit is perfect. The size is right on. I have never seen these shoes in any store, and I will likely buy another pair in another color. Zappos service was quick and very user friendly.

Very smooth and classy sneaker. Easy on and off and comfy ankle ridge. Minimum support if you're going to walk all over creation in them. A bit narrow for me but working in pretty well. Love 'em!

They look great, and are comfy enough to wear for any occasion/terrain. The shoes seem heavy on my feet. There's a certain weight to them that I don't notice with other shoes I own. No ventilation for the feet. My feet sweat in these.

There has been a lot of talk over this being a "green" company, yet having all their products manufactured in China. I only have this to say: they are solidly built, last a long time, have decent arch support (for a sneaker) and I feel better about not giving all my shoe money to the Nike-Converse-Cole Haan-Umbro-Hurley conglomerate (yes, they are all one andthe same). Great service from Zappos! I can't find these shoes anywhere in Colorado.

I've had three pairs of the Simple OS sneaker over the past ten years. When one pair wears out I replace them -that's how much I like them. If I were to make improvements I would offer them in a narrow size, and I wish they'd make the shoelaces a little shorter.

I love these sneaker. I wish they had a little more arch support as I have lower back problems I had wearing arch supports. They look as good as converse, but are way more comfortable. why has not converse learned to make a nice looking vintage style sneaker with good support? I like Vans, too, but while they're more comfortable than converse they don't even come close to these Simple sneakers! They seem pretty sturdy.

I love the look and feel of this shoe. However, I am onto my second pair. The first pair's interior lining, around the heel and side of the foot began to wear. By the end of the year it was completely gone. The back of my foot continually rubbed up against the hard plastic shell, making it uncomfortable to wear. I had to throw the shoes out. I thought maybe I bought them a size too small (10.5). I ordered a second pair one size up (11). After 3 months of wearing the shoe the interior lining again started to tear on the sides and back of my heel. Sad thing is... I absolutely love the design, feel and fit of the shoe when the lining is intact. If SIMPLE can figure out how to prevent the lining from giving way this would be a perfect shoe for a Brooklynite like me.

Classic style and comfy out of the box! On my feet for hours at a convention and these shoes did not let me down. Zappos customer service team cannot be beat. Fantastic!

I wore Simple Old School sneakers with the kickball rubber soles in the late 90s and I find that these are largely the same shoes that they were back then. The arch support leaves a bit to be desired, which probably could be remedied by aftermarket insoles. However, the factory insoles have a small bit of what seems to be hot glue anchoring them down in the shoes and I haven't bothered ripping them out yet to test any other brands. They were fairly comfortable from the first day, and went through a very minimal break in period. I am not completely pleased with the shape of the toe; it is more angled and pointed than is the shape of my foot. I do better in shoes with a more symmetrical rounded toe, like what you find in most boots, REAL Converse All Stars and many skate shoes. Unfortunately, most shoes are made overseas today, and they seem to have a rather narrow view of what a foot is shaped like. People with long skinny feet have no trouble buying shoes today. People like me, with high arches and extreme width across the ball of the foot are out of luck most of the time. These were just wide enough, but only JUST.
