The shoes I received did not have an all leather upper; most the upper was a man-made material, including the parts most likely to scuff and peel and not look right when they are man-made. I returned the shoes without trying them on. I am sure they would fit right and be comfortable, as Dockers normally do, but they will look terrible in short order. The description above is probably somewhat aged, when this model was still made of all leather.

if you like stepping on a rubber mat i would recommend these shoes... Horrible shoe do not buy!

This was my first purchase with Zappos. And probably my last. I can't believe I had to read the comments (after I purchased) to find out the sizes are NOT accurate. I replaced the shoes I already owned (same size & design) only to find out the new shoes are too big. Back to the brick & mortar stores for me!

Bought these in July 2015. March 2015 they are almost done. I wear them to work everyday and the soles are very worn and some of the stitching on the seams around the toe is starting to come apart. Definitely disappointed.

This used to be a great shoe. I am returning my latest pair due to the stitching coming loose. The last pair I ordered had the same problem, but I just thought it a fluke. I put up with it for that pair. The quality control has obviously gone down hill. I have been wearing this as a work shoe for over 8 years, but now I will try another brand.

Not good. The sole on the left heel basically detached from the upper shoe after about 6 weeks of wear. Spend more and go with a better brand like Rockport, etc.

There is an expandable seem between the laces and the side of the show and it ripped the second day. This makes it impossible to tie the shoes to fit snug.

The shoe has a plastic bubble right by the heel. While many shoes have such a bubble or extra padding for comfort, this bubble is made out of hard plastic, so i t feels that you're stepping on a rock a whole day. At first I thought it would soften up after wearing it for a few hours, it took a couple of weeks for it to become bearable, but every time I put on the shoe I still can't figure out what the manufacturer was thinking when they put a solid plastic bubble right under the heel.

This shoe looked and felt great - up until it started falling apart. The first pair lasted about a week. After that, the elastic band that holds the front and rear portions of the shoe together pulled out of the front half. Zappos let me return them for a new pair (great customer service). This second pair lasted only about six months. At first the heel started to pull away from the sole, but I managed to patch that with some glue. Unfortunately that only helped for a little while and eventually it pulled completely free. While examining this I noticed that the sole has also cracked. This was no small crack either, it was nearly split in two. At this point I realized I was fighting a losing battle and simply gave up on them. It's a shame that such a great looking and comfortable shoe was ruined by such poor construction.

Loved the shoe! It fit so well and looked great - and the price can't be beat for my shoe size (14W). However, the left heel complete separated from the sole in the middle of the shoe, and then then right sole insert makes a "swooshing" sound when I walk. I tried gluing the left heel, and now it makes a "swooshing" sound like the right shoe. Look and feel great, but very poor quality.

I had the shoes for 3 months and the sole literally fell off as I was kicking on of them off. The sole is hanging on by a thread - making the sound of a flip flop. I bought them the end of August and they lasted until end of November. It is too bad as they are extremely comfortable. Great work shoe - except that you need the bottom of the shoe.

I had a pair of these that worked well for me and lasted me a year and a half (good for me & my job) so I ordered another pair. Well, either I got a "bad" one or they have changed their manufacturing. 1. the elastic band on top that took over a year to start ripping on the last pair started ripping upon my first wearing this time. 2. the stitching between panels started unraveling in two places almost immediately. 3. this shoe *used to be* airport friendly, it is *NOT* airport friendly anymore; they replaced the nylon shank with a metal one. So, to Dockers shoes, I say you lost a customer. To Zappos though; great job!! Tisha at customer service was amazing and had credited me for the bad pair and had the new pair (Deer Staggs Times; not as fashionable but worked in the past) in the mail to me immediately. I am, and will continue to be, a very satisfied Zappos customer.

Stop! Don't get this shoe. The elastic on the side will rip with a little bit of wear. Looks good but it will fall apart.
