This shoe definitely runs about a half size small. I am a scant size 5, and my toes were right at the end of the shoe. Due to a quality problem, there was also a size 5.5 shoe in the box, and it was a much better fit. I would not recommend the shoe for anyone who plans to be on their feet a lot while wearing them, as there is no arch support and not much padding, either. Regrettably, I have to send these back--love Zappos free shipping both ways!

These are cute, very soft and comfortable shoes. I do not think they would be good for a lot of walking, as they do not offer enough support. But they are very comfortable for errands and trips around town. The fit is good - I have long somewhat narrow feet, and the fit is good, and slightly adjustable with the tie.

These are exactly like the photo. I added my own arch supports and now they are great. Very attractive and sturdy enough to wear outdoors even in bad weather - good traction, too.

Very soft -- leathery is indeed buttery. The sole is kind of thin and not very cushioned, and my 9.5 medium is maybe a little on the wide side. They're almost like going barefoot -- no resistance anywhere, except a little bit underfoot. Being able to tighten the drawstring to make them feel less loose is good.

sooooooooft - I took the advice of another poster and ordered 1/2 size larger than usual. She was absolutely right. The shoes fit great and are super soft. Be aware there's no arch support, so they're not for extended walking or standing. Zappos expedited my shipping at no charge....thanks!

Almost as good - The upper moose hide is indeed very comfortable - soft and pliable, but there isn't enough support in the soles for a comfortable all-day wearing experience.

I am 7.5 as measured in store. I ordered a 7.5 and an 8 in this moc. The toe box seems very confined and in the larger shoe the heel slips. Had to return both pair.

Similar shoes in another brand, the same size was too wide and too long. This shoe, same size & width too short and too tight across the arch. It is frustrating the size difference between manufacturers.

These were not wide!! I could feel my foot hanging over the edges!! otherwise, I would have kept them!

The leather felt like butter, but the shoes had no support. I'm sorry I have to return them because they're so attractive.

The material is great. I didn't notice how pointy the toe was. I ordered a 9.5 because of the W width. I have a pair of slippers in the same brand and they stretched so much I can hardly keep them on so I thought since this came in wide, I'd order 9.5 because that's what I can do in other brands with a wide width. These are a little tight. They were VERY tight across the top of the shoe and with wearing, they have stretched to an acceptable level. But hey, they don't flop off the back of my heel!

Just the moccasin I was looking for, but wish it was a tighter fit, too loose in the heel. Also, for some reason the rubber sole on these shoes left scuff marks on my hardwood floors.

I have extreme difficulty finding shoes that accommodate my bunions, the only part of my foot that is wide. I also have to buy my shoes too long so that the widest part of the shoe so it fits over my bunions. Having said that, these shoes molded to the width of my bunions and they have stretched a little which is good. They are a little too long but don’t slip on the heel. Can’t really wear socks with them. I plan only to wear them around the house. They offer no arch support but it’s better than going barefoot. I did put heel cushions in them for comfort. I will probably buy another pair because they are the best I have found to wear at home.

This item felt more like slippers than shoes you can wear in the street.

I purchased these a while ago but had to eventually stop wearing them as they were too large and with wear got larger to the point of becoming unwearable.....i would buy them in 9,5 again but not wide ...even though i have a wide foot......they were ok on comfort but no arch support but i did not expect much...just mentioning it .....

Followed the sizing chart, but my toe hit the end uncomfortably. Returning.

Ordered these in 10W and thought I'd appreciate the extra room, but they were more narrow than the suede moccasins I've worn for more than ten years. Some reviewers said they stretch and some said they didn't stretch. I didn't want to take the risk of keeping them, wearing them, only to have them not stretch out, so I returned these shoes. They were way too small to even attempt to wear them out of the house. Very odd sizing on a shoe that usually runs big in M size. They were very cute, though :(

Really cute style and very soft leather. Sadly the wide size was not wide enough for my foot and they were also too short in the length.

I am so disappointed about these shoes! I have an old pair of these Minnetonka moccassins that I have worn for many years. They were actually wide enough for my D wide feet. The sole of the originals was actually 1/2" wider than these new ones! I even have a pair of their suede mocs with Sherpa lining I purchased in a 9W. These new ones cannot be considered wide! Even if I wore these and stretched them out, the sole is narrow- really a B width! I am giving up on Minnetonka.

I wear 8W, so I ordered 8W...they were too short. I exchanged for 8-1/2W, same problem...my toes are crushed against the front of the shoe. Plus the sole is so soft you can feel everything on the sole of your foot. This is very uncomfortable.

I ordered wide in this to ensure there was plenty of room around the toe area. But, Minnetonka has recently changed their pattern and making them narrow at the toe. I need lots of room at the toe and have two pairs from them that is regular width but more room in the toe than the wide widths I have ordered in the last year. I ordered them years ago and will cherish them. Out of all the pairs I have ordered through the years they are the only two with room in the toe area. Sad they have changed their shoes. Harsh chemical smell also. Ugh. Zappos as always gives excellent service.

The material of the shoe is so soft! It's my first time buying moose hide and I like it. But the front of the shoes were a bit narrow for me and weirdly, my left foot fit was smaller while the right foot was perfect! The soles were a bit thin for me and I can kind of feel the road while walking. I suggest that if you can't decide what size to buy, pick the smaller size as the shoe stretches a bit. I walk around my house today although my feet fitted tightly and by the second hour, the leather mold around my feet perfectly!

I am returning these because the left shoe is visibly shorter than the right and much more narrow, but both are labeled inside as size 8.5; I could barely fit my foot into the left shoe; no fault of Zappos!

I ordered a half size larger than the same shoe I bought a few years back. This one seemed a narrow width, even the insole looked narrow, and a full size too small. I'm really frustrated buying shoes, there seems to be absolutely no standard sizing in length or width from maker to maker.

These run very narrow and short, and they have no support and very little padding. They're not comfortable at all, not even just to wear around the house. I'm returning them.
