Best boot - This is the best boot I've ever owned, and I have two pair now.

My Son Loved These! This is a great rendition of a 70's style of boots that has come back! I bought these for my 21 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely has nothing but praise for them. Shipment was immediate, very impressive. We did, however, have to return the first pair for an exchange as the boot runs about 1/2 size larger that his other footwear. The return and exchange process was equally fast and friendly. I would recommend these boots and the Zappos.com store to anyone!

Great boot- Boot was so great looking and fit length-wise, but my husband has slightly wide feet and he could not get these boots to fit comfortably. Otherwise, product was received incredibly quickly during the 2003 holiday season and in great condition.

Extremly Comfortable and Cool Looking - I ordered these boots in my exact size. When they first came, I thought they were too small. After wearing them for about an hour, they fit like a glove. I hate to take them off. They are also really cool looking.

Not Just For Men - Out of my size in women's, so I ordered a comparable man size. No diff (except for price); they look great & fit perfectly. Do I feel tough? YOU BET! Comfortable right out of the box, too. Put them right on with some thick socks, out the door with the dogs and cruised around the 'hood. Still comfortable. Next test, all day at work. I'm not worried, in fact, I can't wait.

Bought these for my husband and we started out a little skeptical because he usually wears a 10W and Frye does not have wide sizes, but we ordered up a half a size and they broke in well within 2 wearings.

I love Frye boots and because I have a bunion, the women's harness is too narrow. So, I gave the mens a try to see if the extra width would work. Well, while I love the boot - the jury is still out regarding the size. I tried 1 1/2 sizes down from my women's size, but it was still too big length wise. I just ordered a pair 2 sizes down in the mens - and we will see how that works. I love the style, the craftsmanship and the antiqued finish. I also tend to like the lower length better since I find my Engineer 8r more comfortable than my Engineer 12rs. I do think that if you are a woman reading this - you have to be fairly tall to carry these boots off - since they are substantial. I am 5'7" tall and slim and just manage it so if you are short - this might be too much boot.

Like my new boots - I like my new boots, the left one seems easier to put on than the right one but that might be a difference in the way my feet are shaped.

Frye's Harness 8R "D width was wider than one might expect and fit comfortably my wide foot. The size 10 was right on for a guy who has been size 10 for thirty years. Any decisive buyer who know's what he (she) wants will have no worries here. Zappos is on my favorite list.

Fantastic - When I first received these boots they did seem to be a little big. I wear an 11 in Nike shoes and they fit snugly, but slipping on these boots in an 11 left me with a little bit of extra room. I did realize however that mostly wearing these boots in cooler weather I will be wearing a thicker wool sock and after putting some on found the boots to fit snugly. This boot looks and feels great plus it is built extremely well and I imagine will last a very long time.

Frye Harness 8R - Great looking boot. Still breaking them in after wearing four times. They hug your feet like gloves. First try was a half size too large. Zappos was great at sending replacement. Excellent service setup.

great boots - Great looking, great feeling, wonderfully made. I mean its a Frye boot, what else do you need to say?

Tight - For a 12 they are just a tad tight, even though I wear other shoes in size 12 and they feel perfect. Being a tad tight makes it a little uncomfortable (after long periods) and a pain to put on. Great shoes nevertheless; They look great!

Style and Quality - I've bought Frye's before so I knew the quality was worth paying a little more. Frye's are really some of the most comfortable well made boots out there. I did have a bit of trouble with the size. I usually take a 10.5 but this seemed to slip a bit in the heel so I settled on the 10. It's a bit tight by the toes, but I'm hoping that it will stretch a bit over time. The look of these boots is fantastic and I've gotten plenty of compliments. I'm sure I'll own these boots for a very long time - the harness is just a great classic look.

The harness boot is very good looking, the one drawback is that initially, it is very difficult to put on. The area of the harness takes a bit of getting used to when placing the foot inside. Other than that I am very pleased with this boot.

So classic, so timeless, so...frumpy. I wanted to love you, Harness, but you are just too boxy and clompy. Traded down for the Durango Charlotte 12 and feel much foxier, though not as rich.

Try these on at a local store before buying online - I wear an 11.5-12 depending on the company; I couldn't even get my foot into these because the upper was so restrictive.

These were extremely uncomfortable I found - strange shape inside and too small in some areas, too wide in others. Plus, they are extremely heavy feeling. I'll be sending them back. Great quality, though.
