They run about half a size bigger. I normally wear a 10 so I got a 9½. They fit my feet like a glove. A little snug to pull on but I would imagine that will loosen up with wear. They have got a great look to them. I really love everything about them. They feel quality. I seriously dig them like a bad habit.

These rustic boots make a great accent to my casual-professional wardrobe. Also, they're boots, so they're easy to deal with all around. I did not have any trouble with fit on these, guess I guessed right this time. I stuck with my standard size. There's plenty of room for folks with a large big toe like I have, which is usually my issue. The square toebox is made for people who haven't destroyed their bones with tight shoes all their lives. The boot would be too large and floppy if I wore thin socks, so I wear thick wool socks with them, which makes them deliciously comfy. These have a tough, rugged feel to them all around. The inside isn't as 'finished' as I expected, but it matches the general feel of the outside, so I'm okay with it. The boot top feels pretty roomy, sometimes catching on the vent over my feet in my car when I drive. If you're planning on wearing with long pants, some tighter pants may not work out so well, unless you're okay stuffing them in, which I guess is acceptable in some circumstances, but I wouldn't do it. I now own 2 pairs of Frye Boots and these are my favorites.

My husband loves this boot -- it did take him a while to get used to wearing it and we ordered a size down from what he normally wears. It looks great with jeans and khakis.

I wear 10½ but fit a size 10 in these boots. The "Chocolate Vintage Leather" looks awesome. The design of the toe is unique with the end being boxy square. The entire boot leather is consistent and thick construction. It took a few weeks to really break in the boots sole, yet it was comfortable from day one. Note that the heel on these boots is much higher, compared to other boots that I have owned and worn. The style is sharp, but do not try and run in the boot as calf cramps will follow. I am guessing every woman with high heels could have said, "Yeah you dummy!" They are worth every penny as I also believe they will wear in well and last forever. After more than six months, any wear marks look like they are part of the distressed boot. Very cool.

Love these boots, have been looking at getting them for a few months now, tried them on at the local mall, I wear a size 13 shoes but ordered a size 12 boots after seeing how they fit in store. Love these

Great experience and awesome boots. I was nervous about ordering boots without having a chance to try on for fit. I ordered my standard size 11, and they arrived in a few days. I tried them on and the felt a little large. I've been told that good boots should have a snug fit in the beginning. So I contacted customer service and they were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They ordered a replacement size 10.5 for overnight delivery. The 10.5 have a snug fit and feel comfortable. Its been two months and the boots are breaking in perfectly. Great fit and nice looking boot without the cowboy stigma. Zappos was wonderful to do business with and I would not hesitate to make another purchase from them.

This has long become a favorite boot of mine. I tend to ride a motorcycle cycle to work a day or two per week. The rubber sole holds up well and feels great. The style continues to look like quality aging, even after nearly a year of frequent use. Other dress boots scuff easy and look marred. These really look great even after a bump or two. Quality is top notch. Easy on, easy enough off. Walking comfort is a 5. If you have to do a quick run or jog, the fact it has a heel will kill you and I would rate comfort at 3. As a guy, I'm just not used to the higher heels. It is not a flat boot. I highly recommend this boot!

A great all season boots with awesome appeal! I go one size smaller than regular shoes since its not laced and runs slightly larger!

Great Shoes - These boots are great. I bought them for my husband and he loves them. They have a manly sturdy look and are very sexy! Every man should have them.

Dress 'em up, dress 'em down - This is a terrific shoe; looks great and reeeeeeally comfortable, not stiff like other boots I've worn. Feels like a comfy pair of loafers on the inside, but the outside is all business and attitude. The color is great--not shiny and new, but looks lived in, very user friendly. Best boot I've ever owned.

Great Shoe get a size lower than normal - I normally where an 11. I had to return the 11's for a 10 1/2. They are narrower at first but widen within a couple of days. They are great boots.

BUY THIS BOOT!!! These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on and needed no breaking in, which I didn't expect. They are a great boot to have and go well with everything. I have received plenty of compliments on them. My experience with zappo's was great and I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Frye Harness-Great! I am very skeptical about ordering on line. That said, I could not be more satisfied with my new harness boots, and the service I received from Zappos. Once received, I needed to exchange for a smaller size. Not only did I receive my order promptly, but I was not charged shipping either way! Great job Zappos, thank you!

My Frye Harness boot experiance - I really like the way these boots feel when there on. They look good. Feel very solid, and comfortable. Sadly they hurt like hell to get on and off. They actually cut the top of my foot trying them on. If they can make them easier to get on and off; this is a boot I would love to wear. I had to send my pair back because of the on and off problems.

Hot Boots ! These boots are awesome. They are very comfortable and fit well. They look very tough and masculine. Perfect for jeans. I ordered them around noon and received the next day by afternoon delivery ! ZAPPOS is the way to go.

Don't sleep on these boots - These boots are off the meter! They're extremly comfortable, they look great and the pretty much go with anything. If you like biker boots these are a must!

Our son loves this boot. He said it is more comfortable than any shoe he has. He hasn't worn a boot in about two years so this was a great boot for him. Zappos worked with us on getting him the right size and the customer service is great. They are so nice and helpful and if the shoe doesn't fit they accept the charges for sending it back. But beyond all of that the boot is fantastically comfortable.

These boots are really cool looking. While not as comfortable as my Merrill mocs, they feel pretty good. I wear a size 9C-D in womens, so I bought the mens brown, size 7 1/2 because the womens were way too narrow. I'm going to get the black boots when they are available. Delivery was extremely fast and I would recommend Zappos as a great source for shoes!
