My father introduced me to these classic shoes. They were his daily casual shoes and he wore them everywhere. I followed in his footsteps, literally and figuratively, and wear these as my "daily drivers", whether it's for work or play. They are handsome, well-made (although quality of construction seems to have trended down over time, blame cheap overseas manufacturing, and the quality of the leather also seems to have declined, as well), durable (except for the laces, they always seem to break on me after a year or two but easy enough to replace), comfortable, and go with almost everything. Outside of the traditional Timberland boot, these shoes define the Timberland brand for me. Please always offer them and keep the quality high!

Very nice quality shoe. Sizes run small. I'll have to wear this loafer without socks but that's the style anyway so I'm ok. If it was a normal shoe I'd have to return for one size bigger.

I wear these like most people wear their sneakers (which I consider rubberized socks - yuck). They last many times as long, though. Leather lining is great, styling is tough-looking (I am female) and it projects a well-made product. Downside is I wish they had a wider version. Other downide is the "Earth Keeper" branding. For cripes sakes, they are just shoes!

Very high quality, durable shoe that stands up to the filthiest city and jungle living environments yet still remains looking quite presentable. Therefore, this is NOT a lightweight shoe. The leather upper and the bright orange (hidden) leather lining are of superior comfort. It is sized about 1/2 size large which I was aware of and ordered appropriately. Still, be aware that this shoe fits relatively a little large (or loose) in the heel and narrow (tight) in the forefoot which I can accomodate with some creative sock choices. With care, the glued-in flat leather sockliner insole can be removed to accomodate low profile orthotics.

Love the shoes. Was a little disapointed that the Timberland brand was not on the side of the show like the boots.

I've worn this shoe for the past two falls and winters (as a graduate student) and my only complain was at the beginning when the lining of the upper part was tainting my socks. This went on for about the first month of daily use, hence the four stars. Concerning the style, materials and craftsmanship (excepting the cheap tainting of the inner leather lining) I have nothing but good things to say. I have enjoyed owning and wearing these shoes for the past year. If you don't mind ruining some socks for the first weeks, I highly recommend these shoes!

Timberland 3-Eyelet Camp Mocassin - I have been wearing this shoe since the early 80's. Timberland is on their second sole design for these shoes and if I had a choice I would prefer the old design without lugs. The lug design holds rocks and mud. The old design did not which made it much better for camping. With the new pair I just received from Zappos, I am on my seventh pair of this shoe. Even with the "lug sole" design I will continue to buy them because they are very comfortable and very durable. The service I received from Zappos was excellent and will recommend them to my friends. Great shoe but runs extremely big and wide. I ordered a 9.5 and could've went down a whole size. And they are wide. Ended up giving them away :/ (I did purchase another pair though smaller size)

Got these to take on a vacation late next month. On this vacation I expect to be doing a lot of sight seeing & walking. With that in mind, I can't plan on wearing these expensive new shoes.

Length wise they are sized bigger than my normal size in the boots. I have narrow feet and have never had an issue with the width of shoes but these are so tight they cut the circulation off in my toes. Also having a problem with a severe "hot spot" on my big toe which I've also never dealt with in any shoes before. I'm hoping this is a break in issue so I will keep working them in and edit if anything changes.

I've been buying this product for 40 years. I'm a big fan of timberland. However, the last two pairs tore at the top stitch. The sowing was too close to the edge. Quality control seems to have fallen.

Whan waliking, the interior back will pinch bottom of heel. So youll develope thick callous on heel. Will need to wear thick socks or put in thick insole to avoid the pinch.

Loved the shoes, sadly they were too narrow for me. I did find an 8 wide that worked for me.

I bought my first pair back in '81. And again in '84 and '87. I wore the hell out of those shoes. Went shopping Saturday and wanted a pair again. I was so disappointed in what I saw. These are NOT the same shoes I used to buy. The leather is thinner, the sole is different, and the fit... well, the fit is not the same. I loved the handcrafted look and feel these shoes had. These aren't made in the U.S. sny more, and it shows in the craftsmanship - or the lack thereof. Sorry Timberland, you lost a customer. Three customers actually, my nephew and stepson in addition to myself, were going to buy a pair each. I'll pay for handcrafted American quality, not this dreck.
