I've had this shoe for over 2 years. It's very sturdy, but it could have a more comfortable sole. After wearing the shoe for hours or walking long distances, you will wish it had gel inserts. I added them for a while, but that stretched out the shoe.

First of all, this shoe looks very high quality. The leather is thick and beautiful and the overall design is stunning. However, this shoe, size 14, was at least 1/2 size longer than my other size 14 shoes. Not a severe problem for me and may be an advantage to others. What was a severe problem was the depth of the toe box (distance between leather top and the foot pad). It was too flat and it hurt my toes as it pressed down on them. Normally this latter problem might resolve itself over time by wearing them in, but at the price point, it may be too big a risk to keep. We are now investigating whether stretching the shoe depth (not length) would eleviate the problem. If the shoemaker does not think thast it will work, I will have to reutrn them.
