Debate - Well what more can I say about this shoe? They really do look good with whatever jeans, combats or formal Chinos I wear but there is one debate, is it cool or uncool to tie the laces? Got to admit they look better untied and tucked in even if they are a little loose but I think it is comfier that way. keep making these timberland and loyal fans keep supporting them!!!! Jay

None Other Like'em - This order makes two pair that I own. The first pair is 12 years old, and on the third set of soles. The fit of both pairs, as well as the value for cost can't be beat. The free shipping is a nice touch... I will search Zappos.com for all my families shoe needs. Thanks!

Great shoes for any age. I’m a 22-year-old lad and wouldn’t wear anything else now; they feel so good! Good for clubbing or just down to the pub. They take the abuse we throw at them, they keep clean not needing to be polished all the time, and they hardly take on bad odors. A great shoe - really worth the money.

BIG Dave and his Timberland 3-Eyelet Classic Lugs - I've had a pair of these shoes since 1991 and yes they are as comfortable as the day I bought them. They break in very nicely, and the quality of the leather lets the shoe form to your feet. Words can't explain these shoes. Best darn money ever spent on shoes, EVER!

Excellent Shoes... I've owned and loved these shoes for many years. If I were on a deserted island, I'd want to have these shoes on my feet. I wear them every day. They are timeless.

My FIRST shoes - I bought a pair of these with my FIRST paycheck of my FIRST job, that is why I call them my FIRST shoes. That was in 1986, I finally stopped wearing them two years ago, at the prompting of my wife. But they were half a size small by that time and ugly as sin. I had no idea that they still made them until today, guess what is going on my Christmas list?

The classic, serious moc. A real privilege to wear such excellent shoes. Every grown man should be lucky enough to own and wear a pair. Superb, groovy look, suitable for formal trousers or jeans. Extremely comfortable. Very good value. As previous people have said, immense strength, leather tanks with a universal, timeless appeal. Although fashionable enough for young men, I think they require a certain strength of character before they can be worn properly. A sober, thoroughly adult shoe, for grown men only. Would not bother with any other types after I got mine. I wear mine whenever possible, and I wear them with pride.

None, on principle - you move up to this shoe, not beyond.

Timberland's "Timex" Shoes - I have had four pairs of these shoes over the last 15 years; it would have been two pairs had the other two hadn't been stolen! The current pair I have is approximately seven years old, and they look like they have been through a war, which they have been in. (I'm VERY HARD on my shoes; if I'm lucky, I can get a year out of a pair of normal shoes before they self-destruct.) In the seven years I've had these shoes, they have been in and on salt water, gas, dirt, dust, mud, and other less desirable things. Combined with how I walk, they have held up, which would be no small miracle for any other shoes. Not these puppies. In spite of how they look, they are still the most comfortable pair of shoes that I've had, and, given my druthers, I'd wear them everywhere.

Feels good - Wonderful pair of shoes. To stop the insides of the shoe disintegrating I find that wearing 100% cotton socks help, I also slip my foot out of them and rub the insole with my foot which sort of dries them out and polishes the leather. It feels good on my foot too. Will wear them for life.

Extremely durable and well made - I've had worn one pair of these heavily (3-4 times a week) for the past 10 years, and they're only now giving out. Very comfortable and built like leather tanks!

I personally love this shoe. I have gotten quite a few questions and compliments on them while out and about. They are quite comfortable and a bit different looking than most of the other shoes I own. The only con is that they run about two sizes larger than what they are listed as.

A very comfortable shoe that is both modern and stylish. I wear a size 10 and this shoe runs true to size. I have gotten many compliments and another benefit is, at least for me, it did not take long to break in. I highly recommend for those wanting something to elevate their outfit especially with a cargo pant or loose fit jean.

I have been impressed after the first few wears of these shoes. They are very stylish and the burgundy is eye catching. The sole seems a little clunky but will fare well walking. They are comfy out of the box and seem to get better as I've been wearing them.

These boat shoes meet the expectations of a boat shoe. What sets these apart from the competition is the durability and thickness of the sole. These shoes will last much longer than the competitors.

is a great shoe, high quality, definitely we last for a long time, the only issue I purchased the brown color and after i used it I realize that is the Burgundy color, just little sad on that, I was expecting the Brown color.

I love these shoes. However the previous pair did not have the stiching and the top came loose from the sole. I made sure that the model I purchased now is stiched.

Love everything about this shoe but be wary of sizing! I bought my actual size and the back of my heels kept popping out of shoe! I was under assumption that only the 6in boots required downsizing but apparently I was wrong lol Overall shoe is
