I bought a pair of these back in the 1980s & wore them for 15 years until they finally wore out. I wanted to replace them at that time but the quality just wasn't the same. Although these are not made in the USA anymore, the quality seems to be back to the old USA-made quality. After so many years, I'm very happy to have my shoes back!

These are the best shoes I've ever had. And I'm on my third pair in 25 yrs. I use one pair for daily wear everywhere and a newer pair for dressier occasions. Terrific support, and wears like steel. Best news? They haven't ever needed breaking-in because the soft collar keeps from causing blisters. Please Timberland, don't ever change these shoes. Terrific!

I love these shoes! Have been a staple in my wardrobe since I graduated from High School. I bought my first pair with my first paycheck from my first job! Been wearing them ever since, and that was in 1988.

Even though the shoe is great, unfortunately because the shoe is not made as a wide, D, I have to buy one size up and the shoe becomes a little bit large resulting in the toe of the shoe curling up a bit. But, I still wear the shoe.

This is the only shoe I have worn for over forty years; have bought dozens of them, rotating four pairs in four-day rotation and keep a new pair in reserve for dressier occasions. I like the natural, traditional leather component of the shoe and the lug sole. Congratulations to Timberland for remaining true to the foundation of the company by continuing to produce your original creation in this shoe.

Wear these shoes daily in areas where a light dress shoe would not stand up. Also looks right at home in the office and at home as well.

these are my husband's favorite shoes. He has been wearing them for the last 20 years. Every few years we get a new pair. There have been times that I have purchased two pairs so we would have one as back up:)

I grew up with my dad wearing these shoes 30 years ago and to me, created my Timberland brand impression. A number of years ago I got to thinking that I needed so go retro and buy myself a pair. I couldn't believe how many people stop and ask me about them. You don't see this classic Timberland shoe in shoe stores so people think that they are not available. I kinda like that so it keeps the shoe unique. I wear these for just about every occasion. Obviously, they don't go with a suit and tie but anything else it's a winner. I can do yard work, wear them on sloppy winter days, summer days, rainy days it doesn't matter. I'm amazed at how well they clean up and look great with little effort. After about 4 years, I'm just now looking to replace them and retire the old ones to strictly an outdoor work shoe. You can't go wrong with this shoe!

I have been wearing the same shoes daily for a year now, and they have almost as much tread as when I put them on. I do work in an office now, so I'm not putting on miles, but they are a lot more durable than a lot of other shoes I have worn out, especially Vibram like soles. I have not done a thing to them and they still look OK. I like this style shoe to begin with, and it comes in a 15. I like these shoes because they are sure footed, on snow, grass, etc. I don't have to worry about falling as I did in everything but my work boots.

Have been dreaming of this particular shoe since when have been in africa at the age of 19yrs to wear, buy or get used one. but i can`t afford it. Because of the great quality which is expensive in africa and moreover you can`t get the original of the shoe in africa except you have a family in abroad that can afford one for you or used one from imported goods from foreign country. Am in united state. glad and happy that i can afford it and looks very fit on my legs. dream comes through at 16yrs with a great smile

This is the 6th pair of these that I have owned over the last 20 years. So glad that the design has not changed. Durable, comfortable, good looking shoes. I plan to buy a new pair about every three years for life...I'm 55 now so that should be another 10 pair.
