These are basically the only shoes I've worn for the last five years. Obviously these are great for anyone but especially wonderful for people with various balance, vestibular, or miscellaneous sensory problems or disabilities; the soles are so flexible that you can really feel the ground beneath your feet, and they only get better with time. I do wish standard colors like brown leather were more frequently available in the U.S.

These boots are awesome! I needed something nice and comfortable that I can wear with skirts and skinny jeans. I ordered half a size smaller which is perfect. the instep is a little snug for me but they were easy to stretch.

These shoes are great! A salesman at the Clarks store said that these shoes run large so I ordered one size down. But, I found them true to size and had to return for 1/2 size larger. Zappos made the exchange very easy. I was quite impressed with their customer service.

This shoe looks and feels great. The crepe sole give the shoe a nice cushiony feel. The leather breaks in nicely. A very highly recommended shoe. No wonder this is a classic.

I love this shoe! It started out somewhat uncomfortable but after walking in them for a few days, it broke them in. I would suggest getting some leather honey and rubbing that in occasionally because it really improved the leather, especially after they had gotten soaked from running through the rain. They run a bit big and stretch a bit from wear, so I would suggest getting a half size smaller than normal. I normally wear an 11, sometimes 10.5. I got a 10.5 here, and probably could've gotten a 10.

These shoes are built to last and only look better with wear. I wore these for my 40 day trip backpacking Europe. I hiked in the Alps with them, walked on the cobble stone roads and taken them across the continent putting mile of use to them. I only wore these shoes and they look even better than they did when I bought them. Fit true and break in well.

Love these shoes, wear them every day. They look great and feel supportive enough for my semi flat feet. I wouldn't go running in them but that's not what they're for. The corduroy suits my style perfectly.

I love this boot. I have had mine for 4 years and they are still going strong. Great comfort and style. I have two different styles and love them both.

NewFoundGlory - I heard about the in GQ and just bought them. Definately a purchase that will last through the years. They go with just about anything. Only complains would be the footbeds. Gots some gel insole and they are comfy. Lace them a little loose. It helps.

Desert Boots - This is a good looking boot. I felt the brown looked a little too dark, close to black. I was walking in the snow the other day, and these shoes were like ice skates. Other than that, some of the best shoes I've owned.

The Clark Desert Boot is like all Clark originals - awesome! This boot lived up to its reputation - awesome in all ways.

A classic shoe - These are great shoes with timeless style and apeal. The fact that they are endlessly comfortable as a walking shoe is only matched by their classic shoe.

Excellent Shoe - Bought my first pair, same color. in Saudi Arabia in 1961. They felt great, true to size then as now when I just ordered a new pair. Can't go wrong with these shoes for comfort and ease.

Clarks Desert Boot - This has been my favorite shoe for over 25 years. I first started wearing it in college and law school. It is great with jeans and incredibly comfortable!

Must wear them in. A classic shoe which needs to be broken in for max comfort. After a few days of wearing them they form to the foot and feel like you've had them for years.

Classic - This is one of the original Clarks styles. Very versatile, can be dressed up for work or casual, and always stylish!

Width - I very much like the Clark desert boot and Walaby but they are too wide. If there were a narrower width I would buy many pairs. In the future if these shoes are offered in a narrower width I would like to be contacted. Thank you.

A Great Product Never Dies - I got my first pair of desert boots after I saw George Harrison wearing a pair on the cover of the Abbey Road Lp. He has been a great influence in my life so why not assume he knew something about comfortable shoes. Well it is obvious that he knew something about shoes. The desert boot is the most comfortable shoe and the best thing a person can do for his/her feet. Thanks to Clarks for keeping them around!

Jimm D. in montana - The Desert Boot, and the Trek are both shoes for the busy big male human. They are always comfortable, but are bad for wet and slippery paths. In hospital settings, you can do procedures and stand on hard floors all day without having tired body-foot syndrome.

A Timeless Classic - another 5 stars to Zappos.com! These shoes run big so I used the free UPS shipping label and was able to exchange my Desert Boots for a size smaller. I got the Sand Suede color and they are a work of beauty. Highly recommended!

Clarks Desert Boots - My first expereience with Zappos and I was very pleased. The product I wanted and shipped to me at my home. What more could I ask for. No mall crawling! Great!!

Very comfortable, very attractive. Careful, the sand color gets dirter very easily.
