I was in need of dress shoes for a party that would not aggravate my plantar fasciitis and didn't cost a fortune. With the addition of a Dr. Scholl’s arch support these shoes were perfect. The gel patch in the heel allowed me to wear them for the entire day without achy feet. These are the best Hush Puppies to date I have purchased and worn.

Excellent fit even with my wide feet and high arches. Quite comfortable after wearing a short period of time. My wife also likes the style- extra points for this. :-)

These are what we were looking for -- not too dressy, not too casual -- just something to wear with black pants.

Super shoe - Best shoe I ever put on my feet. I am Chief Jailer in a detention center in NC. I’m on my feet most of the day, at the end of the day I fill like dancing. Love this shoe, will be ordering more in the new budget year.

Hush Puppy Comfort - My first pair of Hush Puppies was a nice surprise. Very comfortable and light on my feet. After wearing them all day they didn't get hot or "tight". They did feel larger than marked but I think it's due to the larger toe box.

Very good shoe for a big man like me. I found that the Hush puppy shoe that I purchased was a very good purchase. The shoe is very comfortable and has a lot of support. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone that is looking for both style and comfort.

Buy them again in a heartbeat! My husband loves these shoes! He bought them to be waterproof in Scotland and while it didn't rain -- he only stepped in a mud puddle -- they were comfortable and all the mud and dirt wiped right off. Now, that we're back, he's wearing them for everyday.

Great shoe for navigating the streets of NYC! My husband loves these shoes because they can be either dressy or casual and they are very comfortable. In NYC you do a lot of walking and these are by far his faves for that. These are actually his third pair of the HP Strategy's, when one pair wears out we just replace them. Also I must add that he is a shoe killer, he can ruin a pair of regular men's leather dress shoes in a matter of months but these shoes have managed to hold up to his abuse, we just replace them when they not wear out not because they've fallen apart.

First time with Zappos - I have always had a problem getting shoes with the right width. When ever I go to a local store up here in Maine I can only find shoes that fit if they are 1 inch to long. Here at Zappos, I just searched with SIZE 9, WW, Brown , Mens Dress and had plenty of choices. It took 5 days to get them here and guessing I did not need a 9 1/2 shoe I received a pair of Hush puppies size 9 WW and they were right on the money. The shoe fit correctly, the width was perfect, and I am very pleased with the shoes. Good job Zappos, nice to find a company that goes the extra mile. Gives value for money and made my day. Gas costs enough these days to have paid for the shipping. I was very impressed. Will certainly shop again here.

Great shoe, comfortable and fit well save for one glaring annoyance, and that is the lip at the heel of the shoe rubs and has led to ankle blisters. The show isn't too big it actually fits well other then the blisters it gives me. I expect a pair of heel pads will fix up this annoyance. Other then the heel issue this is a fine shoe, good looking and comfortable other then the issue mentioned.

These are well-made shoes, and were very comfortable out of the box - however I found the shoes to be rather low across the widest part of the foot, making them seem to run a bit small. If you have the slightest thought that you might need a wide width, get it.

Very nice looking. Very nice fit. I like a little more cushion, but still overall comfortable pair of shoes.

Comfortable, light and no problem going through airport security. True airport friendly shoes. Would recommend these shoes.

Replace the insoles - Bad news: Stock insoles made my calves & knees hurt. Good news: Insoles completely replaceable!!!

Good shoe for what you pay for.

Extremely comfortable but with square toe - These Hush Puppies are even more comfortable than Rockports, Florsheim Comfortech, etc. The trade off is the square toe which, to me, looks trendy but silly.

Good work shoe. A tad sweaty. I own both the Hush Puppies Strategy and a similar looking Rockport Margin. They are the same price on Zappos. The Hush Puppies feels better on my feet, except that it is waterproof, making it not breathe much and make your feet feel a little hot. It has a flatter address than the Rockport, which for me means that my feet don't get as "tired" at the end of the day. But the Rockport has a more contoured bottom with a higher arch support. If you live in a warm climate or don't like waterproof dress shoes, I'd go with the Rockport, otherwise these are a very good set of work shoes.

Happy Feet - Felt larger than marked, but excellent comfort, wide heels seem to spread out my 300+lbs. Would buy again.

Reasonable looking dress shoe - IT is not super pretty, but it is super wide. It is among the best looking ultra-wide shoes I've ever owned. It is reasonably comfortable... I think it could benefit from a little more cushion or contour.

Adequate But Not Perfect - A tiny bit short on support and a tiny bit clunky-looking, but adequately comfortable and good-looking enough to serve.

Hush Puppies come through... Typical of Hush Puppies of the past, these shoes are comfortable, even for the wide foot.

Really like this shoe. Square toe makes it fit me better than most. Feels equivalent to a 4 or 5 E width. Gel pad fell apart in the first pair but Zappos customer service was great and exchanged the shoes. Jury is still out on longevity.

Gel Heel is Uncomfortable- I love this shoe except for the gel pack right under the heel. I feel it when I walk and it is uncomfortable. If Hushpuppy had a smooth bottom to the shoe insert, this shoe would be 5 stars. Maybe it will not bother you but it does to me.

Felt a bit lightweight and flimsy. The shoes seemed like they would have been a good fit, but they had almost no arch support.
