Soft uppers with soft sole - I bought these for business casual. The model of Rockports I was wearing was discontinued. The fit of the 8.5D was appropriate and the insole was removable. I returned them because there is too much flex under the sole. I need a stiffer shoe. The uppers were soft and would not need a lot of break in time.

True to form - These shoes are light, comfortable and durable. I won't buy anything but Hush puppies for work.

Great shoe for standing on your feet all day! I purchased these shoes for my husband that stands on his feet all day at work, and he said these are the BEST overall shoe that he has ever owned!

Strategy - I spend a lot of time going through the airport routine. I bought these shoes after I discovered that my "airport friendly Rockports" were not really airport friendly. Strategy was advertised as airport friendly, and they are!!! They look good, fit fine, and go through the detectors with no problems. Glad I got them - now to see how long they last!!!!

Hush Puppies Strategy - I have used Hush Puppies brand for the last 15 years for my work and casual wearing. The Hush Puppies Strategy is so light weight and comfortable. I use to wear Red Wing to work and would have to buy every year. The stitching would come undone after 1 yr. The Hush Puppies brand will last 3-years or longer, wearing every day. The stitching lasts but after three years the soles start wearing down. Priced very reasonable.

Comfortable and light. These are already my favorite pair of shoes. Unbelievably comfortable, great cushioning and light. Total satisfaction. Buy them!

Sturdy Shoe - This shoe is comfortable and great for business casual wear. Not the softest, nicest leather, but for the price, it is a great commuter shoe. Overall, very pleased as it is one of the few brands to carry extra wide widths.

Rondo - Extremely comfortable. Got the wide width which fit my foot perfectly. I am required to go through a metal detector to get to work so these "Airport Friendly" shoes were perfect for me. Told other co-workers about airport friendly shoes and recommended Zappos. "Thanks"!

Very light and comfortable shoe, good value for the money. I stand all day at work and I appreciate a good comfortable shoe.

Great pair of shoes - My husband loves them. He has flat wide feet and he found the shoes to be comfortable on the first day - nice and roomy in the toes - and supportive. He was a bit uncertain because they are so lightweight. However, he continues to wear them every day to work (he walks around a lot, but doesn't need to stand all day) with no complaints. He really likes that they are waterproof (good for the current spring season), so easy to clean. I had previously purchased a Rockport Charring (also waterproof) but he found that they dug into his Achilles tendon from the first try because of the design. So this pair was a better fit.

Great shoe. My husband prefers the more casual Glen style, but it is not appropriate for all occasions. The Strategy is a little more formal (as formal as I can get him to wear anyway). This is his first pair in this style. He wore them all week during a company conference and had no problems (and he is very picky about fit).

Solid Value, Great Style & Fit - I have fat feet. Local stores won't carry "EEE" sized shoes. Zappos does. These Hush Puppies are a great value for the money. The fit is great for my fat feet.

Nice and wide! I have a bunion, so it is impossible to get shoes wide enough. Only Zappos seems to carry the 5E size. They are great. Look like office shoes, but mold to your foot. If they ever had a three-for-the-price-of-two-sale, count me in for three.

Great buy - These are for a commercial pilot and he loves them. They look like a dress shoe as required and are light and comfortable.

If you have wet feet, you are not feeling all that great. These shoes are definitely waterproof, based on walking through the puddles and potholes of NYC. They have good traction, too, even on wet marble floors. I had been buying the similarly styled Rockport waterproof shoes. These Hush Puppies have better traction, longer wear and I (and my wife) think a nicer design.

These shoes are wonderfully comfortable. I've really enjoyed wearing them, and had them for about a year. My biggest complaint would have to be that after about a year's use, they are starting to wear out a bit more than I would like, and I am already looking at replacing them.

Comfortable right out of the box. Nice leather feel and nice wide toe box. Laces are a bit tough, but I expect them to soften over time. Solid shoe that may rival Ecco brand.

My husband loves these shoes, although he has found that they are not as comfortable as he had hoped for walking long distances or for wearing for long periods of time.

Five years ago I bought Hush Puppies' Detour and was hooked on the comfort of the boxy toes and cushiony padding that went from the soft foam insoles through to the soft outsoles. The bodies of those shoes are still in wonderful condition, but the soft soles wore out after five years of daily use. These Strategy shoes are the spiritual successors, but they aren't a perfect follow up. The Detour was luxurious from the first time trying them on. The Strategy has a more durable insole, but it is less soft and therefore less comfortable to my always sore feet. They should have just added a leather skin to the old style of insole to get the best of both. These are decent shoes, just a step down in comfort from Detour, which Hush Puppies should never have discontinued. The boxiness of the toes is a little less than Detour too, which makes it a little more crowded, but it is still more comfortable than the pointy toed shoes.

Shoes good. Laces leave a lot to be desired. Laces stiff and loosen on their own.

My husband reports that these are comfortable. He is a surveyor. He was concerned the soft/flexible heel wouldn't be heavy duty enough, but so far so good.

These shoes are okay. They're perfectly serviceable and the fit is good. About what I expected for the price, and from Hush Puppies.

I wouldn't buy these shoes again. They offer very little cushioning and they're the kind of shoes where the laces come undone within 15-20 steps! The comfort level with the addition of some carefully-chosen store-bought orthotics is acceptable.

This shoe is poorly constructed and did not last long under regular use.
