All positive, except the strap cuts off circulation in top of foot if it is tight enough to keep foot from slipping. Talked with retailer who agreed they receive many strap/circulation complaints with these shoes. At one point, some Naots cam with angled straps which were more comfortable.

Nice shoes, but a serious design flaw with the velcro which comes all the way down the side of the shoe. I have normal arches, normal feet and the strap going over my foot was just long enough to loop back over, exposing about 2 or more inches of scratchy velcro alongside the shoe. This velcro snagged everything-- my long pants, my silk purse when it was by my feet in a car, etc. I finally took the shoes to a shoe repair place and had the guy remove the excess velcro. The shoes also scuff very easily to the black under leather. Good luck finding this shade of metallic purple shoe polish! I touched mine up with some purple, but it's not a great match. So right away (I scuffed them on the first day wearing them) they looked pretty worn. I like Naot shoes, but wonder if they test them on real people before they put them on the market, as the price is no cheap shoe.

This shoe is extremely comfortable and well made, BUT I have to admit that I was disappointed when they arrived. They look much cooler online than they do in person. I think it might have something to do with the fact that the leather is much softer and more flexible than the pictures would indicate, which makes them very comfortable, but they don't hold their shape quite as well. The suede swirl on the toe of the black model isn't nearly as visible as the pictures indicate, either. Overall a nice shoe, but I wouldn't buy it again, as they are rather expensive given their actual appearance.

I ordered these shoes years ago for work and right out of the box, they fit like a glove. I wore them until they wore out, but recently I purchased another pair and they aren't the same. I was so disappointed because I really like this shoe...the color and Naot quality. Just writing this for an honest review. Give them a try and hopefully they'll work out better for you. I may wait a while and buy another pair down the road....maybe I just got a bad pair...

I wanted to wear sox with these shoes but no room for them. sending back

i could hardly get my foot in toe box area. i wanted to wear with light weight sox.

I have worn this style for the past 8 yrs. I have had this exact shoe before. This time the shoe hits my ankles. The sides of the shoe are higher than they used to be. Too bad because everything else about this shoe is so comfortable!

I loved these shoes for about 3 months, they fit great, got lots of compliments, etc. until the squeak, at every step, started to wear on me, which may have been when the shoes began to scuff very badly and the threads around the front of the sole started to fray. At about a year the threading on the swirl broke open on both shoes. I was going to get them repaired, but then the strap just popped off, which makes them almost fubr. Gr.

Very low toe box/ short at toe area. The rest of this beautiful shoe feels great, if somewhat wide, but I will probably end up returning it.

This Naot Sea checks all of the boxes! Wide toe box, accommodates my orthotics, adds a bit of height, and superb comfort.

great for back. the toes are boxy in a way that would be great for bunions or toe issues but for me makes the shoe too long. Overall very nice shoe

The shoes fit great and comfortable. the packaging and customer service are not so great

This felt good on my left foot which is in its normal condition; my right foot however is still recovering from a fractured ankle, surgical repair, and still some swelling. I could get it on the right foot but it was far too tight and the toe box too shallow. I am a Naot fan, have worn them for years and have looked at Sea for a long time. Have to return this excellent shoe now but hope as my foot heals that I could order it again in the future.

I bought these because of the reviews and I'm so happy with them. I have arthritis in my ankle and a previous foot injury that gives me a lot of pain standing all day at work. These shoes are much more comfortable than most other shoes I've tried. I have limited to no pain at the end of my day. Would buy again. The blue ones I ordered did not fit the same, however, so I'm returning those.

The ankle straps hit across the top of my foot and rubs. I have worn Seas for years and have three pair. My blacks needed to be replaced but unfortunately these do not work.

Lovely shoe in style and craftsmanship. However, I realized that I mistakenly ordered by U.S. numerical size (5). I thought 5 was size 35 from other sites. Now I see it fits like a 6. So I'm returning and reordered a size 4 which is a 35 and should fit me like a 5. Let's hope so!

Fantastic straight out of the box. And I've had another pair for over a decade which is still holding up.

Naot is a great shoe for my particular feet and these Mary Janes are SO comfortable. I have a high instep so the open top is ideal with the adjustable strap. It has a soft flexible heel so easy on and off and nice arch support too. I can tell that I'll be able to do a lot of walking in these on a day out. And they're ADORABLE!

Love this shoe. Fits great, comfy foot bed, plenty of toe room, and unique look. I love a Mary Jane and this one is just fun to wear.
