Converse and Zappos rock - My son is a Converse maniac. These are great because he has a better-than-canvas alternative for the winter. This is our second pair--the first lasted for more than 9 months; that's an amazing record for a 12 year-old. A great shoe and Zappos had the best price.

It made his Christmas very happy. I have searched high & low for this shoe in my husband’s size & it was not available in any store. I placed my order with Zappos.com & I received the shipment the very next day. The shoes were in great condition; they fit perfect & looked perfect. Hubby was so excited!

Very Nice Shoes - These shoes were for my daughter and she claims they are comfortable and the fit is pretty true to the size.

Shoes were bought for my 13 year old son, Alfred. Converse hi-top is the sport shoe he finds most comfortable. They are cut wide and they are soft, even the leather ones. Converse is all I purchase. His dad purchased a Nike sport shoe in early fall and he was glad to return to Converse.

I ordered these for my son! My son wears a size 13 shoe, he is 17. I had tried to locate the traditional black canvas model with white sole and toe, at our local mall with no success (In order to replace (same, current model, now soiled). That is when I decided to try the internet and discovered Zappos.com. and a style, that I was not aware of before..... He wasn't sure that he liked the idea of leather, but after I explained to him that the material would be more practical with the season changes (rain to snow) plus that they would be wipe able, not to mention the soil would be less obvious with the black sole and toe. He reluctantly agreed to try them and I placed the order...(before 2 PM) I received internet e-mail confirmation after securing my order by credit card...the shoes were shipped by UPS and delivered in 4 business days! Note: UPS requires a signature, so if you can't be at the delivery location be sure to specify to leave package in door...etc. My son could not be more pleased with his new shoes, in every way! Most comfortable pair of sneakers I've ever owned. The title says it all. These shoes are real eye-catchers; they're also very light and supple.

Converse - Our expectations on the shoe weren’t much. We thought leather? Hoped it would look descent. To our surprise our expectations were blown! The price and what it looks like are fantastic. Quality for an affordable price. Can't beat that!

The best shoe I ever wore with best comfort - I love these shoes, I wear those all day for work. Also, I have another one same for use after work and weekends, with out mention other colors of high top I have like, black with with rubber, also carolina and blue, and red one. I feel very comfortable with all these shoes, I love it. I recommend anyone to wear. Thank you Chuck.

Total comfort - These were just what I needed. The fit was wonderful. They gave great support for my ankles. Very light but supportive. Also allowed necessary movement where and when needed.

Perfect - I really can't gush enough about the monochrome black leather Chucks. I find them to be more comfortable than the standard canvas version, and naturally the durability is better, too. Because they are all black, you can get away with them in a lot of different types of apparel, and they totally seem true to the Chucks vibe. This is just a great shoe, all around... I will order more!

An Awesome Blend - I thought these shoes might feel better with insoles, but the feel comfortable without them too. I like the appearance of these Chucks because they look like a walking shoe instead of your average Chuck Taylor shoe. I also cannot say the same about many tennis shoes.

Need these for nursing! I've not owned a pair of these yet, soon to. Sz. 12's fit me like a glove. Leather Chucks are built much better than the canvas versions. They aren't too picky about shoes at my hospital, so these should be great! I'm a paramedic by trade, and my platoon is very picky about footwear. Please, Zappos, start selling Converse boots!

Awesome - Very comfortable. Everyone notices them. They asked where I purchased them. I recommend them.

Leather High tops - Shoes are nice and look good. I added insoles for comfort. They do feel at least 1/2 size large, but width is fine.

Great Classic Updated - Really cool pair of sneakers and very versatile.

These are great. I've mainly been on the lookout for Leather Knee Hi, but decided to buy these. The leather is a really nice touch. I treated mine with mink oil as soon as I got them and the mink oil gave them a light sheen in the light. They're a welcome addition to my Converse collection.

Leather - No not the one Will Smith wore in I robot! But who cares these are way cooler!

Nothing like LEATHER!! I've had quite a few pairs of Converse All Stars, but nothing compares to LEATHER! They appeared a bit stiff when I first received them, but after a few wears, the leather is not soft and wrinkled. Perfect for the rainy season! The nice thing about black leather is that it doesn't fade to nasty brown like the canvas All Stars do. In regards to comfort, some people say All Stars hurt their feet. I'd say they're all right. You can always buy an insole for better comfort. These shoes are really nice.

Chuck Taylor leather- Great Fit, Very Comfortable, Look Good. I also purchased the Nubuck Hi. Very nice with leather toe cap instead of rubber.

Unique Converse- My son was so pleased and surprised to receive the leather Converse as a gift. He has been a devotee of the hi-tops for years due to their extreme comfort and to have the leather for winter is perfect!

Awesome pair of shoes! These shoes look and feel great! They get alot of comments from other people. Some are even going to order a pair because they like these so much.

My daughter just loves these shoes. She wears them even with skirts. Being a mother of two teenagers, shoes that they wear and love are worth their weight in gold.
