My son has very thin feet and it was practically impossible for him to put on these slip ons.

Ran very small so small and narrow that my grandson’s average width foot couldn’t get in at all and that was with the thinnest socks I had! He wears a 10 and I ordered a 10.5, thinking that would be about right. I returned them and decided not to exchange because I would have no idea what size would fit if any, cute shoes though.

My child does not have wide feet, but getting his foot in was impossible. The shoe was plenty long enough, but the opening is way too small. This is the 5th time I've tried over the years. I give up.

Not what I expect from Vans. My daughter has been wearing them for years and these are the first time I've had an issue with their shoes. Like other reviewers said, they felt way smaller than the size marked. She couldn't get her foot in at all! It's disappointing that there's no wide width option - for growing kids, they need more sizing options. She loves the slip on shoes so we are going to have to try them on in store instead. Very disappointed. Luckily returning with Zappos is a breeze!

We received 2 left foot shoes and they were also two different colors. We are sending back.

Waaaaay too narrow! My son is a size 3 and there was no way he could fit his foot in these shoes. Couldn't get his heel in but there was plenty of length in the shoe. Ridiculously narrow! Will be returning. Shoes seem well made and are super cute but just not wearable.

This is the stupidest design. Like most of the other reviewers said, my daughter couldn't even get this shoe on her foot. And it's not a fit issue, because the shoe length definitely looks good. The tongue of the shoe doesn't have enough elastic to make it over the ankle bone. Sending them back and will never buy them again.

Love the style. Difficult to slip on.

These vans were delivered already worn! They are creased, have scuffs on the toes and heels, and did not have a vans tag attached.

My little guy LOVES them but couldn’t even begin to get his foot in the opening. I’ll try a larger size but I’m not optimistic. ??????

very cute shoes but my son couldn’t even get them on his foot… super narrow! his feet are pretty average too..

too small by a mile. tried 3 sizes and so tough for little kids to get on! a six year old should not need to use a shoe horn.

These run insanely small. size up. a lot.

I had to return this shoe. Purchased a size 13 for my almost 6 yr old boy and it was too small and narrow to even slide his foot in. He has a normal slender foot, and this was our first encounter with a shoe being narrow. Disappointed in how narrow this shoe was and had no stretch in the sides. it is a good looking show if your child’s foot can fit in it.

Even after trying multiple sizes, these were too narrow for my 6 year old to get on his feet. He doesn't have a particularly wide foot. We tried sizing up but to get the width correct, the length was too far off. Unfortunately had to return (3 pairs).

The shoe elastic was so tight that even though shoe was a full size too big, my son could barely get his foot in. He wants "skateboard" shoes, but I have to try and find knockoffs, because this is horrible fit for $35 canvas kids shoes. What a fail Vans!!!
