I am so disappointed in this shoe. It is adorable and looks very dressy but casual at the same time. However I'm giving it a 2 star because with in a week and a half the top material is peeling back off the toe. My son does not walk on the top of his foot so it has to be the shoe.

I ordered a size 13 checkered slip on, and received a size 12 black slip on. Disappointing to open on Christmas day!

My child has worn these shoes for one month and they are already falling apart. We’ve worn vans for many years and the lifespan of the shoes keeps getting shorter and shorter. The target style of these shoes lasts much longer. Don’t waste your money on these.

My son, who wears a 1.5 Little Kid, was very disappointed when he couldn't even get his foot into this sneaker. The elastic does not give enough for him to slip them on. It took considerable effort, and whining, to finally try one on his foot. We didn't even bother with the second sneaker. Too bad. He really liked these.

My son was really excited for this design and has many Vans slip-one he loves wearing. But this design had very poor construction at the sole base.

I bought these for my grandson and when they arrived, I wondered, what has happened to the quality of Vans! The quality is poor! The tread on the bottom of the shoe is so cheap and slippery, not the gripping rubber type material it used to be.

Extremely bummed about the quality of these. We already had to trash them, after 2 months!!! It was super hard to get in my son's foot (as many other reviewers have noted) and the rubber around the outside is completely worn down, as well as the fabric on the outside.

It's a very nice shoe and usually they're really comfortable but the pair that I got seem like it was a half a size too small even though it was his correct size labeled on the shoe

Long time Vans fan with 99% of shoes from them, they are the go to for myself and the kids. I have purchased several versions of the glitter over the years for my daughters because they are durable. Received only 10 days ago, these are the first where the glitter fades and falls off where the shoes natural crease up front. See attached photo for reference. If you have another pair from a different production run I'd gladly take a replacement.

Where are these Vans being made? China? Shies sizes are smaller there. Please make shies in standard American sizes. We could always count on Vans to give us a comfy wide slip on in the Past.. now we can't even wear them anymore! And WE LOVE Vans Slip ons!! PLEASE FIX THE CHINA SIZES. THANKS! ALL THE OTHER STYLES FIT FINE. Ex: lace ups Velcro straps etc.

Why change something that's isn't broken? These classic shoes now have some leather lining around ankle that causes pressure on back of ankle. The material is very different the previous pairs with NO give to them. My daughter cannot even get her foot into these. She has other vans that fit fine what happened??

The sizing on these is AWFUL!!! I’ve now bought one pair a half size bigger and the pair that came today 1.5 sizes bigger…. (She wears a 1, first ordered a 1.5 and then a 2.5) STILL TOO SMALL. Can’t even get her foot in them. What on earth did vans do with their sizing? She’s worn vans since age 2 and literally never had this issue before. Ridiculous.

These are SO small. Ordered these a half size bigger than my 7 year old wears and couldn’t even get half her food in them. They are at least 2 sizes too small. Like ABSURDLY small

Very narrow . There is no option for wide, in kids. Very limited options for wide. I've blown through 3 pairs that won't fit because they're too narrow
