Comfort and warmth! I have waited for two years to find these boots in stock! Now I have them and am not one bit disappointed. They are warm and extremely comfortable. No break in period... comfort immediately! Canadians surely know how to make boots that keep your feet comfortable and warm. They are an excellent value for the price.

Viva La Canadienne! I can't think of another brand (luxury or not) that offers this much style, workmanship, practicality and comfort in boots for cold weather. This boot has it all, fits precisely to size and Zappos' customer service is unparalleled. The only thing that bugs me is that they told me there was only one pair left in my size (i.e. "buy now") and now I see they're still offering it. I would have bought it anyway but don't like deceptive marketing.

Sooo Comfortable - I originally ordered a half size up, but found that in the 7 ½ - 8 range, it was true to size. Good thing that they are so easy to exchange. They are so soft and comfortable inside that I don't want to wear socks or hose.

Smart and soft - I tried literally a dozen pairs of boots (many of them La Canadienne’s) before landing on Evitta, the winner. My particular needs are a soft heel--most heels are rock hard and I can't walk more than an hour on them without my back paying the price. This was the only boot (and the only La Canadienne) that had a forgiving heel. I can walk and/or stand for hours on these boots, plus they are toasty warm and very stylish with pants and jeans. The waterproof quality is a nice bonus, too, although I haven't tested it yet.

Great boots - I found this boot to be true to size and width. I have very wide hard to fit feet and this boot needed no breaking in it was that comfortable. I did buy a 1/2 bigger and wished I hadn't. They are very true to size.

La Canadienne Evitta Review - This boot is elegant, chic, comfortable, and practical. Although I have not yet had a chance to wear it outside, it feels very comfortable from my wearing it (as a trial run) inside my home. I would highly recommend this boot to others who appreciate A-One high style, comfortable, practical shoe wear.

Wonderful Boot - I saw this boot in a local store, and they said it did not come in a Wide width. After going on Zappos I find that it does and they shipped it to me very, very quickly. The first pair was slightly defective and when I called they instantly offered to replace them. I feel that any company can have an item that doesn't quite measure it to all the others, quality-wise, but what's really important is how it is dealt with, and Zappos is terrific! I talked to them yesterday afternoon and they arrived at my house in Seattle this morning - what great service. I am planning on taking these to England, Budapest and NY this winter and feel sure I will be able to walk for hours in them. They aren't great with skirts but I bought them for their comfort, low heel and roomy toe box without slipping on the heel - there's room for woolen socks and my own orthodic - I went up a 1/2 size from normal to accommodate these. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Fit, Feel and Look! I recently purchased this Evitta boot, and am very, very happy that I did. I saw the boot on the website of an upscale department store, because a shoe store in my hometown didn't have boots in stock yet, however they didn't carry it in wide; Zappos does! When the boots arrived, they looked even more elegant and expensive than in the picture.

Amazing comfort! This boot is amazingly comfortable! The fur lining is soft, and the boot itself fits perfectly in the wide width. It is dressy enough to wear with slacks to work, yet totally comfortable. Although the price is expensive, this boot is worth it.

Love them, can't wait to wear them - I have a wide foot and have a hard time finding boots that fit. I live in So. Cal, so I haven't worn them yet, but I didn't have any problem getting them on and they feel comfortable when I walk in them. I am looking forward to wearing them on my cruise to Alaska (and in the rain). I did take other buyers advice and got a half size larger than I usually wear, they are a little loose but that's a good thing, and they are really cute.

Love these boots! These are among the few good looking, waterproof boots that come in *wide.* I ordered my regular size, in "W" and it was perfect (didn't have to go up 1/2 a size). They're so comfortable I'm tempted to wear them even when the weather doesn't call for it! I have problem feet but walking was perfectly comfortable, and the lining is especially enjoyable with bare feet!

Boots - I have owned 2 pairs of boots. They are the best boots I have ever owned.

This boot is designed with a front zipper. The top of the boot is tight and the zipper cuts into your leg, it is very uncomfortable.

Very cute booties but the footbed did not feel like it had arch support so I'm not sure how comfortable these would be for alot of walking. Sending back unfortunately.

I love these boots. Arch support is lacking, but roomy enough to add my own orthotic. Boots are warm, stylish, comfortable for long walks. My only complaint: I am on my second pair, and both pairs have deteriorated at the heel, which cannot be replaced, as it is part of a one-piece molded sole. The heel breaks down and actually collapses with wear, with a hollow interior. I still love the boots, but this shouldn't happen with an expensive, well-made item.

Shopping for warm, stylish and comfortable low heel or no heel boots for city walking. These are nice, but my mid-foot is on the wide side so these wouldn't be as comfortable as I'd like. These are a bit narrower than the normal La Canadienne boot, or at least others that I've ordered.

The boots are gorgeous, the foot part is soft and cozy and comfortable. But the ankle is way too narrow. I don't have slender ankles. I'm not overweight, just don't have really skinny ankles. And I could not zip these up all the way up...there was about a half inch left unzipped. The foot part was perfect, not too narrow at all. It's just the ankle. Too bad. I love the way they look and the way they feel.

These are very beautiful, warm and comfortable. My only complaint is that soft, 'furry' lining (which is so soft and warm) tends to draw my socks down as I walk, eventually bunching them up toward the front of the foot. I'm still experimenting with different socks to avoid this. Otherwise an extremely attractive boot that can handle cold, wet weather.

Haven't had much rain yet so they're not broken in nor have they gotten wet! They're fairly comfortable but not sure about walking miles in them. Perhaps they'll mold to my feet a bit. The heel is narrow, it's easy for the ankle to turn if one is predisposed, like me. But they're cute and stylish, I hope that after a few more outings they break in and become more comfortable for long outings.

I only gave it 4 stars on overall because I felt it could have more arch support. I have a high arch and prefer more support. Otherwise I love the shoe.

These are very attractive and comfortable winter boots! They fit me best in the wide size that I normally wear. They're just a tad roomy, however, I found out years ago that winter boots cannot keep your toes warm if they're too snug!

Very nice looking boot, warm and fairly comfortable. I found the width to be a little too wide for a narrow width.
