I love these boots! I live in Arizona so I only get to wear these boots when I travel to a winter climate. I wore them all over Europe in late November. They were warm, comfortable and kept my feet dry. They looked great with jeans but could go with slacks as well. I am sure that they would look great with tights and a skirt also. They are not bulky looking at all. Even though I wear a 9½, my feet looked slim and feminine. If you fold the fur collar up and put your pants/slacks down over the boots (as normal), they just look like black suede shoes with a little wedge heel. I found their look held up well even though I wore them in the rain in Germany. Hopefully, I will get to wear them again soon. It seems like a lot of money to only have used them for two weeks so far! I would definitely buy them again, the feel and look are high quality.

I am a Texas-based consultant with clients in New York, so I was looking for functional boots that would serve in both climates. These fit the bill - they are not too much for the mostly wet winters in north Texas, but they handle rain, sleet, and snow in New York without difficulty. Despite looking less than weather-friendly, they are legitimately waterproof. I accidentally stepped in a puddle that was several inches deep, and my feet stayed completely dry. Water beads and rolls off, and salt brushes off easily once dry, and the boots do not look like they've been through bad weather. Where the boot bends at the toe, the suede creased visibly on the first wear, but this isn't a serious flaw and does not look terrible. These boots ran true to length, but narrow. They are also narrow in the ankle. I have very narrow feet and slim ankles, so this was not a problem for me. The footbed is cushioned more than the average women's boot, but is not plush. There is not much in the way of arch support, but this can be easily solved with an insole. I wore these boots all day, three days running with no break in, and found them comfortable, stylish (for winter boots), and weather-effective.

These were phenomenal! I bought these for our honeymoon to Europe (Paris, London and Prague). I wanted a versatile, stylish, cute but comfy pair of walking boots. These exceeded expectations. They went with so many outfits and I was able to walk 8-11 miles a day. It was also cold, 28-34 degrees, and these boots kept my toes warm. Highly recommend these boots. They were so great.

I love my Evitas. They are practical but luxe, flattering to the foot, and super comfortable. I feel so stylish and edgy when I'm wearing them. I thought I'd be wearing them with the fur showing, but I find that I like the sleeker look that comes when you zip them all the way up. The shape of the toe is particularly appealing. There's plenty of room for my toes, and then the boots come to a narrower, semi-squared-off end. Really cool and, I repeat, so flattering to the foot. This is a boot that's definitely worth the investment.

The absolute best boot ever. Wore it in freezing Canada and on a 50degree day in Washington DC. Stylish and warm. Can wear with a business suit or jeans.

These boots are so comfortable. They look great and are waterproof. What else could I ask for?

I love these shoes. I bought the wide bacause the regular seemed a little snug and I planned to do a lot of walking in them. The shoe was perfect. There was light rain off and all all day in Ireland, my feet never got wet or cold. I did add my own arch support.

I love these shoes. They are cozy, warm, comfortable and fashionable at the same time. They are versatile for pants, leggings, and dresses. I like the flap that can be up (for a solid black look) or down for the cute grey contrast. They are easy to put on and the zipper height is also adjustable. I am so glad I got them. Delivery was quick, ordering was smooth. I just didn't have time but I am planning to get the gel sole support for this shoe to make it feel like a sport shoe. The extra width will give me provision for this insert.

Absolute perfection. The latest storm in NYC caused me to finally take the plunge and spend the cash on these boots and they are fantastic. They fit well, are soft and comfortable and stylish. Leave it to the Montrealers to create such a wonderful snow boot. And how did Zappos manage to get this item delivered to my door in less than 24 hours? In the midst of a NYC blizzard? As always, La Canadienne didn't disappoint! I bought these to wear around New York during a cold, wet vacation--my feet stayed warm and dry. The suede still looks great, too. They are super comfy boots, but I do have slightly narrow feet, so wider foot might be slightly tight.

I order these each year, they fit like a glove and have just the perfect height in the heel and arch support. Warm but graceful, nice with tights or pants. I wear them not cuffed, straight up. I was glad to see Zappos.com carrying them, they wear in like good gloves. Just ordered another pair, so worried one day won't be able to find them, although last year's are totally wearable and last and last. I wear them to hike through the park with the dog, yet can go to the theater or a party and look chic and fashionable without giving up comfort. My feet are hard to please shoe wise, when I find something this great I order two pair. Don't hesitate, expensive but worth it, well made, great little ankle boots. Love 'em!

This is a VERY comfortable shoe/boot. I usually wear a 4½ shoe, but with socks this was a perfect fit. I like how you can roll the cuff up, or have it down and wear with trousers or a skirt. It is stylish AND practical.

Comfortable right out of the box; did a lot of walking right away, in wet cold weather. True to size, good support, could fit my little plastic orthotics in comfortably. Kept my feet dry, ankles warm. Love them. My only suggestion would be a little more insulation in the toes. Other LaCanadienne boots I own seem a bit warmer. But these are definitely keepers!

These boots are fantastic. I have wide feet and the "wides" give me plenty of room. I'm hoping they remain waterproof throughout the slushy, NYC winters.

All I can say about these boots is that they are worth every penny! They were comfortable right out of the box. They run true to size and are generous in the width. Warm enough that you can wear without socks. Love them!

As soon as I ordered a W model, my real size had returned to the store! So, it was a little large, once I'm a M, not a W. It is true to size, not a half size larger. Pretty and comfortable, but I'd be happy with my original size.

These boots are fantastic. I live in the south where we don't usually need boots. We have needed them this winter!! I wanted some that were warm and looked stylish. I found these on Zappos and read the reviews. They advised ordering a half size larger. The boots came on Monday (I had ordered them on Saturday) and they fit perfectly. I wore them with black dress pants and with jeans. Took them on a snowy trip to Boston and they were perfect. I don't think I took them off for 5 days except to sleep! Thanks Zappos.

I bought these boots to go to Colorado for a vacation in December and wanted to still wear the boots to work in the South! I found this style to be perfect! Great fit, quite comfortable and they look great on! I tried several different styles before finally selecting this one because I didn't want to pay the price but I'm so pleased with my decision. Thank you Zappos for your prompt delivery and understanding my problems in decision making.

A few days prior to a trip to the tundra (Chicago in the winter), I ordered a pair of boots not knowing for sure if they would arrive in time. They did and the rest is history. The temperature on landing was 8 degrees (actual air temp not windchill) and my feet remained toasty warm throughout the week-end. Thank you, Zappos for excellent products and superior service.

I bought these boots for a trip to New York in December. It was extremely cold, but my feet were always warm. I wore the boots without breaking them in first and they were comfortable right away. I followed the other reviews and ordered them a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly. They are very stylish and even though I brought other shoes, they were the only ones I wore on the trip. They looked just as nice with jeans as with wool slacks. Well worth the price!

Fabulous boots. Bought to wear on trip to London. Kept me warm and dry and stylish. Walked hours every day, extremely comfortable. My new favorite pair of winter boots. Bought 1/2 size up to wear with thick socks. Perfect fit.

Great boots. Very light, warm and comfortable out of the box. I wore them for 5 days of sightseeing in Paris a day after I received them and they were perfect. Highly recommended.

Great little boot! This is a very comfortable boot. Not for the coldest of weather, however. Even though it has a furry lining it is not super insulated. I didn't think I cared for the odd look to the heel, but it looks fine and functions and feels just great. I love the cute look of the fur at the top. You could even wear this with a skirt and tights if you wanted!
