Better than UGG at half the price! Mmmmmmm, toasty comfort! I have been a big fan of sheepskin boots and slippers for several years now -- they're amazingly warm and comfortable and I find that with frequent wear, the natural lanolin in the fleece even softens rough skin and calluses on your feet! This time I wanted a slip-on pair of house slippers, and decided to try Old Friend because the price was reasonable and they had the color I wanted (a lovely bright red with natural fleece which now seems to have vanished from Zappos, even though I just ordered a week ago?). The slippers are wonderful; the fleece is thick and soft and silky, comparable in quality to Australian and New Zealand brands I've purchased in the past, equal or better than brand-name UGG (which in my experience are dreadfully overpriced and often lower-quality sheepskin for the money, they're coasting on the name recognition.) The suede uppers are soft and richly colored, and the rubber sole has nice treads that make it more than suitable for quick runs to the mailbox, laundry room, etc. -- great if you tend to ruin soft-soled house slippers by running outside. I'm quite pleased and will definitely come back to this brand in the future! A note on fit and sizing -- these slippers fit like most soft sheepskin boots/slippers I've tried in the past, which is to say they usually run large, anywhere from half a size to a full size bigger than conventional shoes. On average I take a 7.5 in most shoes, although I go up to 8 in some closer-fitting dressy styles and down to 7 in softer styles like Ugg-type boots. I ordered these in the "Medium - 6.5 -7.5" size, and they were just perfect. If you've never worn sheepskin footwear before, bear in mind that the fleece will compact and mold to your foot over time, so you do want something that feels a bit snug (but not painfully so) when you first put it on -- after a day or two of wear, the fleece will settle, so starting out with a looser fit will rapidly leave you with a slipper that's loose enough to fall right off! If you're in doubt, go with the smaller/narrower size -- or get both, Zappos excellent return policies make it so easy to try things out and get the right fit.

Exceptional - I love these slippers! I can keep warm, run out to walk the dog and drive to the nearest convenience store all in the comfort and warmth of this shoe!!!

The best slipper ever!!! I loved this shoe so much that this is my second pair. For me it really isn't just a slipper because I wear it outside too. It is warm and cozy and feels great on my feet. A must have!!!

5th pair - I have owned 5 pairs of these shoes over the past 3 years. I wear them all over my house. They get worn out on the inside after about 7 months of hard everyday use, but have never found a more comfortable slipper!!!

Softest Slippers I've Ever Owned - These slippers are the softest, most comfortable slippers I've ever owned. I love them! True to color and promise for a cozy fit. Zappos Rocks!

As good as Ugg - Comfortable without the Ugg price. Would highly recommend.

Great Slippers! I wear a 9.5 AA and this slipper feels true to size. It's so comfortable and a lot less expensive than similar versions. It is a bit heavier than a traditional slipper but it keeps my feet toasty and is durable enough for quick trips outdoors. As a stay-at-home mom I wear slippers out frequently, so I'll be back for more of these.

AWESOME - These are the best slippers. They have lasted better than any other slipper I have purchased and they are still comfortable 6 months later. The only part that seems to ever wear out is the heel.

Wow -- what a great slipper!!!! The first pair I purchased last year was for my oldest daughter who never takes them off. She goes to college in Boston and all her friends and classmates have purchased them. Purchased the second pair for my other daughter and she never takes them off. The quality is better than Uggs, and the price is right.

I really like the feel of this slipper. It's a bit too warm in Fresno, CA for this slipper in the summer. But I'm still glad I purchased the slippers. I normally wear a size 10 shoe; but I had to purchase a size 11 in this slipper.

So good, I bought them again! This slipper was a gift for my daughter who loved them. Unfortunately our golden retriever puppy loved them too! Since these slippers fit every requirement; comfort, looks, warmth; I ordered them again. Zappos delivered the slippers within two days.

Better than Uggs? I've never owned a pair of Uggs, but I would guess that these are just as nice. The slippers are well put together, cushy and warm, and the soles are sturdy enough for trips outside. The soles make the slippers not quite right for cuddling up on the couch, but it could work once they're broken in. Size-wise, I'm usually a 6.5 or 7, so I bought Medium. They fit almost perfectly for me; a little more room would have been preferable. I think they'd be small for someone sized 7 or 7.5. The only downside was the initial smell; whatever they treated them with has a strong chemical smell. As for Zappos part, the service was great. I debated for quite a while as to whether or not to buy these, but I really wanted them before our vacation. So, my husband convinced me to go ahead and get them. By then, there was only 5 days till we leave and as much as I wanted the free shipping; I didn't want to risk not having them on our vaca. So I got the 3-day shipping. Zappos upgraded my shipping to Overnight and I received them the day after I ordered them. Nice surprise. Bottom line, I love my new slippers!

Great product - This was my first time ordering from Zappos, and I was very pleased with their service. The slippers came the next day, not in 4-5 days as stated. I love my new pink scuffs; they are beautiful and comfortable and look just like the picture. I would definitely buy from Zappos again.

Great Slipper - I do agree that this is a great slipper. However, I wanted to let anyone who wears a solid size 12 to know that the 11-12 size leans toward an 11. I wear an 11.5-12 and this just barely fits. Otherwise, it's fabulous. This was my first experience ordering from Zappos and that was fabulous as well.

I am warm & snuggly again. These slippers are the best! They are a warm, welcome friend. They last a looong time and become part of you. They are so comfortable. I look forward to the end of my work day so I can go home and put them on. They truly are an Old Friend.

Very comfortable... Love my slippers. They are so easy to slip on and off. Great support, well made with a heavy duty flexible sole. I have to hide them from my Lab though, he loves them better than any of his fluffy animal toys.

Great slipper for the cold months - I was doubtful at this slipper's ability to wick away moisture but, it's true. I'm glad it's such a longstanding brand because it will be my choice for the winter from now on.

Old Friend's Ladies Scuff - Love these slippers! They are better than I expected. I have really wanted a pair of Uggs, but didn't want to spend that much money, so I bought nothing for 2 years. I ordered these Scuff's while searching for a Hobo bag. They are the best find for style, comfort, fit, and price! I am buying a pair for each of my 5 sisters; they love them too. You cannot go wrong with these slippers. I LOVE THEM!!!!!

Super cozy - I love the Old Friend slippers. They are wonderful and half the price of Uggs. And Zappos service excels all the other sites out there.

So comfortable and warm - I loved these but wish that they had my size in more colors. I bought blue which is fine but let's face it, these shoes are about comfort...

Old Friend Scruff - The slipper is the most comfortable I've ever worn, and I'm not a slipper person. The fit is perfect and I can wear them outdoors if I want without a problem. They are warm and make my feet feel really comfortable after a long day at work.
