These slippers are true to size, easy to slip on and warm for New England winters. This is my second pair, my first pair lasted three seasons.

I use these as my around the house shoes and they are great. They are cheaper than that designer sheepskin brand that is so popular and just as good in quality. I know this because I was suckered into buying several pairs of that other brand. Note that once the sheepskin wears down, your feet will start to slip out of the shoes as there is no backing and less padding. That is expected, though, but I just thought I would point it out. Regardless, I would buy another pair.

I love these slippers and I purchased them to replace a newish pair of Ugg slippers. The Ugg slippers were too narrow for me and my feet did not go all the way into toe of the slipper thus my heel hung out the back which was not comfortable. These Old Friend Scuffs are wider in the toe and were comfortable from the first day. I wear a 6½ and purchased the 6½-7½ size and they are the perfect size. I also gave these as a gift to my daughter-in-law and she loves hers too!

Quality materials and construction; also, nice colors. Width and instep room were quite narrow and snug for "Wide" width, but the leather is soft and will stretch.

Cute and comfortable! Really pretty shade of red...very soft. Well made and the quality is very good!

My daughter and I both buy from Zappos because we can depend on them. Our orders arrive very quickly and if we should have to return anything, it is easy and quick. I buy a lot of merchandise online and Zappos is by far one of the best.

Bought these for my girlfriend (34 years old) and she absolutely loved them. Bought them large, as other reviews noted, and they fit perfectly. Styling is great, super soft, highly recommend.

Great slippers. Believe what everyone says about the size running small. I ordered up one size and am happy that I did. The sole's are stiffer than a usual slipper, which makes they great for a quick trip outside. The lining is thick and very soft.

I love my Old Friend ladies scuffs. My toes cramp terribly in the cold months of the year; since I began wearing these scuffs I have not had as much cramping. Good value for the money.

These slippers keep your feet toasty warm and are very comfy. Took the advice of others a sized up to XL - am normally 8.5-9.

Very comfortable and warm. The only thing is with size, I have ordered a size bigger than I have 'cause I like to have such thing in bigger size, but when they arrived they turned to be exactly my size, so if I had ordered true to my size I would have them returned. I have ordered in blue-grey, they look very stylish in this color.

I love these slippers! I received these as a gift 3 years ago and they do not wear out easily. I am needing to purchase a new pair now only because my roommates dog decided to eat mine! If that didn't happen I am sure they would still be on my feet everyday! So comfortable and the soles make it so I can keep them on and run to the store or where ever I want!

Felt like stepping into a cloud. However, close to an inch of my foot stuck out the back, in my regular size.

Super comfy slippers. Wear a 7 1/2 and got the L (6.5-7.5). Tad short in the beginning but eventually give enough they now fit perfectly! Fast, free shipping and no sales tax-what a great deal!

This slipper is soft and comfortable. Just enough support, not too stiff.

The sheepskin lining is wonderful on your feet. Unfortunately, there is no support in this slipper which I need and they felt a bit too short. There were also a few glue marks on the suede on one of the pair. Too bad.

Good choice if you like Uggs because they are less money and feel great. I wear an 8 1/2 wide shoe or if I can't buy wide, I buy a size 9 Reg width . I got these in 8-9 wide and they fit great. I don't think they run small, however I did buy the wide width.

I have owned these for about 5 years. They are as comfy as the day I got them. Truly. They have worn well, and still look almost as good as when I got them - and I wear these every single day! The poofy wool has started to "clump together" a little, but it doesn't take away from the look and feel. I have washed these suckers in the washing machine too - and they came out great! (Although I don't recommend this - everyone's machines are different and I'd hate for you to ruin your pair.) IF these wear out, in maybe another 5 years or so, I will immediately buy another pair and hope they are made the same way they were when I got mine. I highly recommend these.

These are hands down the best slippers I've ever had in my life. I was wary of the shearling because I tend to get hot foot, but I found that these babies keep my feet cozy without boiling them. I wore these slippers after recovering from surgery and loved them so much I practically cried when I had to put on normal shoes again and go back to work. As a fat-foot, I bought mine in wide and that worked for great for me. If you're on the fence, get off and take the plunge. These slippers will be your best friend this winter.

I love the color and fluffiness of these slippers! They are very comfortable and warm. I generally wear a size 8.5 and ordered the L (8-9). They fit just right. If I had been closer to a 9, I would have probably needed to size up a bit. Otherwise, they are fantastic!

Another review supporting the following: 1. I am a true size 8 with an average width. I ordered size (LG) 8-9 and the slipper was too small in the length. I would need the (XL) 9½ - 10½. The width was comfortable, a cozy wrap around, not too wide not too tight. 2. This slipper is plusher than the Ugg Scuffette II. I bought them both and side by side, and it is easily apparent that Old Friend has more dense shearling than the Ugg - both inside the footbed and around the edge of the upper. When you step into it, it is a softer experience. Ugg is very soft mind you, but this slipper is plusher and softer. 3. The sole of this slipper thicker than the Ugg Scuffette II. It has more cushion between your foot and the floor as far as the protection or cushion bounce if you will. In the Ugg Scuffette II, the sole is thinner and you are closer to the floor. The sole experience with the Ugg Scuffette II experience is just short of a deal breaker for me. I don't need a thick sole in our climate, but I do not want to feel the floor in a scuff slipper either. 4. The rubber treads on the Old Friend slipper and the Ugg Scuffette II are equally good - nice flat textured rubber slip free tread, both five stars. 5. The Old Friend profile is larger, less streamlined than the Ugg Scuffette II suede slipper. Meaning the Ugg Scuffette has a slightly more streamlined look, perhaps a little more polished. The Old Friend does not look bad, it just looks like a cozy bedroom slipper. 6. I bought the pale blue suede in the Old Friend and was not swept up in love with the color of the suede. It is a pretty, dusty baby blue color but not brushed soft or buttery soft looking. Ugg slippers stick with suede that maintain a rich color depth and do their colors on the knitted versions that look better. 7. I did a few laps around the house on the carpet with both and they are both wearable, comfortable, cozy, easy to maneuver, and both have to come off when snuggling up on the couch in certain positions due to the rigidity of the sole. Both the same in the wearability category with the exceptions stated above. I did not have either long enough to determine how long they last. I also recommend checking out the Bedroom Athletics Kate scuff slippers. A very strong contender- these slippers are also plusher than Uggs- about the same plushness as the Old Friend. Pretty colors and very, very soft beautifully colored shearling.

I've been wearing Ugg Coquettes for years but I found it hard to justify buying them again when the price keeps going up (and the quality has gone down). So I've been looking for an alternative and this is it! I'm so glad to find these on Zappos (and to be able to try on various sizes thank you!). About the sizing: I have a short wide foot (5 and 1/2 or 6 depending on the width) so I was excited to see these came in wide. Most slippers are too narrow for me. Surprisingly, the SM wide was too small lengthwise. My heel was right on the edge, almost hanging off. So I sized up to MD wide, which was way too big and my feet couldn't stay in them. The MD regular is just right. A tiny bit big but as close as I'm going to get. I love these slippers! They're extremely comfortable, soft, and warm with a substantial sole that is as supportive as the Coquettes. I think the style of this slipper is actually a lot cuter than the Uggs Coquette (no weird seam and label on the front). One minor caveat: the pink is more of a mauve than a true pink. But otherwise they are perfect, and at less than half the cost of the Uggs, I am extremely happy with my purchase.
