Comfortable Aerobic Shoe - I ordered this shoe for use in high-impact step aerobics. I wear a motion control insert, but was still very hesitant to go the size larger than normal shoe size, but it was absolutely the right thing to do. The shoe is roomy in the toe box yet without slippage; I have found other shoes sometimes to be toe-numbing. This shoe also provides good support for lateral movement.

Great shoe with excellent support - This is a fabulous shoe. I think it's expensive, but well worth it. It has a wide toe box and comes up around your ankle giving you a little more support. I love Ryka's. This N-gage shoe was recommended by my step teacher and I've noticed another instructor with it as well. I always need half size larger in Ryka's.

Ryka N-Gage Studio - Very Comfortable. I like leather hi-tops and to find them in black was wonderful. Would highly recommend them. They are shaped a little different to more match the foot. It took a little getting used to, but I wouldn't trade these shoes in.

This is my second pair for use in step-aerobics. Very good support and cushioning. Though there are more & more shoes to choose from, it has become harder & harder to find a "GOOD" aerobics shoe. This one fills the bill. Hope Ryka keeps making it!

Perfect Aerobic Shoe - This shoe is very light but has good padding at both forefoot and heel. The mid ankle is perfect for ankle protection during lateral movement. It's a great shoe for dance, step, and interval aerobics.

Great support shoe - This shoe really supports my foot. I have wide, flat feet and broke my ankle 1 1/2 yrs. ago and needed not only ankle support, but good cushioning as well. This shoe provided both. I bought the black and am happy with this because it looks a bit sporty, but goes with lots more clothes than the white. I think it will work well on an upcoming trip to Europe and not be so brazenly “American-looking.” The only criticism is that I would have liked the toe box to be more rounded on the outside so my toes would have more room. It's just a bit too cramped for my feet. Probably someone with narrow feet would have to wear thicker socks.

I have been looking for that ol’ style aerobic shoe, and I knew I would find it at Zappos! I absolutely love the sneaker...I am picky about shoes and sneakers, (since I have knee issues) but this sneaker suited me perfectly! It is extremely comfortable, well cushioned. You feel like you are walking on air. The quality, look and feel are second to none. I am very happy with them...I would highly recommend purchasing them, and of course, I received it in a jiffy (always do with Zappos). Thank you Zappos for your great customer service!

Best shoe for aerobics - I've been doing Jazzercise for years and this is the best shoe I have tried. The little bit of extra height gives the ankle support I need, and is perfect for sideways motion and change of direction in aerobics classes.

Terrific shoe for high impact aerobic workouts - I wear this shoe for step aerobics. Provides superior ankle support especially for those high speed cross step moves. Suggest you wear socks that cover your ankles with these shoes. They were less comfortable with low cut socks.

Ryka's Gage Studio shoe is excellent. It's true to size, felt great and feels good when I work out. Also, this shoe supports my ankles which help out with my knees.

Great in the gym! My trainer recommended these shoes because she loves them. They are comfortable, stable and look good. I am so happy with these shoes.

Nice cross trainer - I’ve been using the shoe for Pilates, aerobics (fairly low-impact), and weightlifting. So far it functions well, being a nice light, but supportive shoe.

Ryka sneakers - Ordered 8 1/2 they run small. Service rep suggested going up a whole size, she said that the 1/2 size increase was 1/8th of an inch larger. The 9 1/2 is great, lots of room in the toe, very comfortable. I'm glad I listened to the customer service person.

Nice shoe, very comfortable, was hoping for a higher arch. Get lots of compliments on how they look. Good ankle support for bosu classes.

Ryka's N-Gage Studio Aerobic shoe - A great shoe for a total workout! I am using one pair and ordered two more pairs so I can alternate shoes when the first pair wears out. I will keep ordering these as long as they are available.

Nice - I love this shoe. The fit was a little snug at first, but after a couple of wears, they fit perfectly. I wear a size 8 and ordered an 8 1/2. The ankle support is key for aerobic exercise. I love this shoe and highly recommend it. As soon as these wear out, I will be placing another order of the exact shoe! Love em!

Extremely comfortabale, and looks great!

The best shoes for aerobic dance classes - Perfect for Jazzercise! Well-padded without feeling too heavy, true to size, and available in size 10.5 - not always easy to find! Plenty of room in the toe box without flopping around when you're moving. Love 'em! (Can you tell?)

Great for high-impact workouts - I purchased this shoe for the first time recently and am so far quite pleased with it. Previously, I was wearing the New Balance 1007, which was good, but I wanted to try something specifically designed for aerobic floor work. I work out six days a week and alternate between various videotape workouts -- all advanced, high impact, step and floor. I've worn the shoe for two weeks so far, and it's great for all purposes, very comfortable, and nice cushioning and rebound on the jumps, and good grip on the step. The extra ankle support is great too. After all the reviews of this shoe's tendency to run small, I was surprised to find that the fit is actually roomy for me. I bought my usual size 7-1/2 med width and could not have worn it any larger. I hope the shoes hold up for a while. If so, I will definitely buy them again.

Great shoe! For the past 9 years I have not been able to find an aerobic high-top shoe to replace my Reebok step aerobic shoes and here it is. I underwent extensive foot surgery 18 months ago and finding good support has also been difficult. This shoe fits the bill and I just came across it by accident on Zappos, when I was looking for a different type of shoe. This shoe has good ankle support, good arch support and fits my wide foot in all the right places. I like this shoe so much I ordered two more pairs of Ryka's on Zappos, in different styles - for walking and riding my bicycle. I really dislike shopping, but Zappos.com is the ultimate shopping experience for me, I just wish you had a line of golf shoes as well!

Best sneakers ever - I recently injured my ankle and the ligaments in my foot. As I recovered I realized my old cross trainers were not going to support my ankle. I did some research and found the Ryka N-Gage Studio. Before the sneaker came I had my ankle wrapped in an ace bandage in my old sneaker for support and even so there was pain. With this sneaker I went right back to my step classes, aerobics and kickboxing without having to wrap it the support was so great! Love this sneaker. My larger foot touches the front toebox but I do not feel I need the next size.

Best Jazzercise Shoe Available - The Ryka N-Gage Studio gives great cushioning for aerobic dance like Jazzercise. Since Jazzertogs no longer sells shoes, it's great that Zappos has these available. At first, the high top style bothered my ankles. After a few wearings, I became acclimated to it. The shoe runs a little small, so buy a half size larger.

A tad wider than normal but still fits if tied tightly - I do lots of step aerobics and have weak ankles so I like wearing this mid-top shoe. They are great!

So wonderful! This is the only shoe -- after months of searching -- that gives me enough room for my toes and yet keeps my heel from slipping out of the shoe. The ankle support is nonabrasive but firm (the Nikes I tried were abrasive in the ankle support). I love it and hope Ryka keeps making shoes! They're designed for women's feet!

Ryka's Rock - I am a 49 year old over-weight person with bad feet...I have been doing step aerobics for years and need a good shoe to wear while doing step...I love these shoes...very comfortable even on the first day of use...I would highly recommend them. They come higher up on the ankle for the support you need when doing step. For me they were true to size with good arch support. And to top it off, they are a really nice looking shoe. I also love the Ryka Enlight II, which I can no longer find :(
