Love. These boots are slouchy and comfortable with a nice touch of class. I'd despaired of finding a nice looking winter boot and was very pleased with these. They go with everything and are a pleasure to walk in.

I love these boots. They are comfortable, fashionable, warm and very well made. I was worried they might be a bit narrow, but due to the nature of leather, they stretched just enough to fit perfectly.

PERFECTION! Definitely, the most stylish, comfortable and warm boot I have ever splurged on. At first, I balked because of the cost. Now you wouldn't be able to pry them out of my hands.

I purchased these shoes in 2009 and five years later they are my go-to boot when there are not a ton of icing salts on the road. I wore them around Paris for 10 days during a cold spell (it snowed) and I will say that they are not as toasty as some clunkier snow boots if you're out for hours on end. However, these are so comfortable, and they look great with jeans and dresses. I don't roll them down at the top and the faux fur is really soft. The lining looks as new as it did when I purchased it. I have narrow feet so I appreciate that these are not large boots. My toes sometimes feel the sides of the boot but if they were any wider, the slip-on aspect of the boot would become an annoyance as it slipped off. The pair I have looks a little more scrunched/rouched than the pair in the photos. I love that I can play it up by bunching it evenly, or not.

I love them, they're soft and warm and comfortable enough to walk around in all day. I love that you can fold over the top of the boot or keep it up, I love how waterproof these are, I love how stylish they look. Great winter boots. My old pair is starting to get a bit worn out and I'm tempted to get another pair.

I've been looking for a boot like this for a very long time. Because of a medical condition I need a flat boot that's comfortable, warm and easy to get on and off...and stylish. This boot has it all! I would definitely recommend it. It's waterproof, too!

These boots are lovely and fit perfectly. Well done, La Canadienne. However, the packaging was terrible! The boots were wrapped in a small amount of tissue and thrown into a box that was too large. The boots were piled in a heap when I opened the box. Fortunately they were not damaged. I expect better packing protection when I order such an expensive pair of boots! La Canadienne gets five stars. Zappos gets two stars for packing!

Hands down the warmest, most comfortable and stylish low-heeled boots I could have purchased. They are waterproof but I don't intend to wear them in the muck. I can wear them over skinny jeans or under a skirt. Having purchased several pairs of La Canadienne boots in the past, I knew it would be worth spending the money for these boots. I wear a 10 in sandals but an 11 in closed toe shoes. I am a medium width, and perhaps ever so slightly on the narrow side of medium. The 11s fit me perfectly. As always, Zappos makes ordering and returns easy, but these boots are not going back. They were a very good investment and I know they will last for years.

I normally wear AA width shoes but I have found that I can wear La Canadienne boots very comfortably with a thick pair of socks. These boots feel like slippers and are very cozy. I love them!

These are great boots. They are expensive but I found that they are worth the price especially after spending a very snowy and slushy week in Cleveland Ohio. They look great with jeans and I was warm and dry even after stepping in a large slushy puddle. I have received many compliments and they are perfect for casual use. They are my second pair of La Canadienne and they really are a quality product. Wish they came in some browns!

Love, love, love these boots! Beautiful, so comfortable and warm...perfect for New England, and it hasn't even snowed yet. Bought a pair for my teenage daughter and she concurs. Can always rely on La Canadienne.

Comfortable, practical, cute. These boots are very very very comfortable. When I tried them on I felt like I was walking on my comfy slippers around the house. They may not be the most beautiful boots you want to wear when dressing up though. Conclusion: Buy a formal and classy pair of boots for formal settings, and Buy these boots for work. Also, order 1/2 size up for extra comfort with winter socks.

I BOUGHT THESE BOOTS FOR AN UPCOMING WINTER TRIP TO NYC. THEY ARE STYLISH AND VERY COMFORTABLE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! I NORMALLY WEAR A SIZE 7.5 OR 8 IN REGULAR SHOES. BECAUSE OF REVIEWS THAT I READ I ORDERED AN 8 AND AN 8.5 MEDIUM WIDTHS. THE 8 WAS TOO NARROW, BUT PERFECT LENGTH; THE 8.5 IS PERFECT WIDTH, BUT A TINY SMIDGE TOO LONG BEHIND THE HEEL. I AM RETURNING THE 8'S TO TRY AN 8 WIDE JUST TO BE SURE, BUT IF THEY ARE NOT PERFECT I AM KEEPING THE REGULAR 8.5 BEAUSE THESE BOOTS ARE GORGEOUS!

Beautiful comfortable looking boot with soft "fur" lining. I normally wear size 5.5 shoes even with a thin sock. This boot was narrow through the ball of my foot. I have what one calls "Dutch Feet" Shorter toes but wide through the ball of the foot. So hoping to try the size 6 to see if the extra length will work. Was in need of winter boots for trips to Virginia and Tennessee to visit family. Wish I had stores here to try them on.

This is a really good looking boot, but has no foot cushioning or support - if you need arch support this is not the boot to order. I ordered these to be able to go for long walks with my dog in nasty weather, and I would have kept them but for the 2 drawbacks I mentioned earlier.

Beautiful boot, and the lining is crazy soft. You'll wish you could go barefooted in the boots. Too roomy in the ankle for me my heal kept slipping up other than that I find La Canadienne runs true to size.

The footbed of this show was perfect in a 6W, but I could not get the shoe on due to the calf and the top of the ankle being too gift. These are beautiful shoes, but I just needed one to fit a wider calf.

I LOVE the style and was ready to bite the bullit on price. I'm usually 11, that's what I ordered. However, the heel slipped up even with double socks, so needed a 10 1/2 (unavail). ALSO, just as important, the arch is high if flat feet like me, putting painful weight on the ball of foot. I tried various inserts, didn't work. If you're looking for arch support and a really cute boot, this could be the one. Thanks Zappos always for making shopping less stressful.

These are beautiful boots. The materials and craftsmanship are beautiful. The suede and fur are soft but sturdy. The fit and comfort was very good. For me, I did not keep these because they still were not a good value for me given the price tag. But if they are in your budget, they are beautifully, comfortable, and functional.

I've tried three pairs of La Canadienne boots before, and own one pair. I tried this particular style through a brick and mortar store. They run a half size small. They look super cute worn sraight or with the cuffs folded down, and unlike most La Canadienne boots, are loose enough in the shaft to tuck in jeans comfortably. But I had two big issues that were deal killers: the insoles are not very cushioned. I compensated by adding some inserts, but it made the shoe tight in places. And the soles squeak ridiculously on hardwood and linoleum, so much that it would be embarrassing to go shopping in these.
