I bought these shoes while at a convention for work. The soles of the shoes I had brought with me started coming apart so I bought these. WOW, I didn't expect a pair of semi dress shoes to feel so good with no break-in. I started wearing them the day I bought them and I bet I walked 4 or 5 miles in the first 2 days, and they felt like I had been wearing them for 6 months. Granted they do have rubber soles, but the leather outer and padded inner are awesome. These are the second pair of Johnston Murphy shoes I own, the first pair is a leather sole dress shoe I have had for 7 years, not on the original sole. I won't buy another brand of dress or casual dress shoe anymore.

I didn't plan to buy this category of shoe, but the salesman convinced me to try them on. They were as comfortable as he said, so I bought them.

I use the shoes often, both to work and on social occasions.

I wear these shoes every day and after bartending for 30 years on my feet these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Also I get complimented on them all the time. I cannot say enough about the style and comfort and value of these shoes. Thanks Johnston and Murphy

Never heard of the brand and needed some shoes for graduation, and asked a friend what dress shoes he had and he said Johnson and Murphy that they were the most comfortable dress shoe he had ever worn. I went to the department store later and tried on several shoes that didn't fit right or were too tight because I have a wide foot. The salesman then brought out a Johnson and Murphy Shuler Bicycle shoe in wide width and it was love at first try. I wasn't sure if this was the shoe my friend had told me about so I texted him was it Johnson and Murphy and he replied yes. They only had brown in wide so luckily there is a Johnson and Murphy store in Greensboro, NC and I drove 40 minutes to the store to get a pair of black ones. I love these shoes and will buy they exclusively from now on. I wore them to church the next day and my friend that had suggested them was wearing his pair of what else but Johnson and Murphy Shuler Bicycle shoes. I plan on buying the brown and light brown pair in the future. They are truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Thanks Johnson and Murphy for making great shoes!

This is by far the most comforable stylish shoe I have ever owned. I purchased these shoes for work but they can also be worn with a pair of jeans. Comfort and style in the same shoe.

This shoe put the 'C' into comfort, generally when you buy new shoes, you have to endure the 'break-in' period...not with this shoe, the first time I put this shoe on felt like a shoe I've worn for a few months already, without out a doubt Johnston & Murphy got this one right!

This is the best pair shoes I own. I wear the shoes for causal and dress up occasions.

I HAVE TWO PAIRS OF SHULAR BICYCLE A BROWN AND BLACK THAT I WEAR ALMOST DAILY PLUS ANOTHER PAIR FOR SPECIAL OCASSIONS. I HAVE USED JOHSON & MURPHY FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND IT'S THE ONLY BRAND THAT I USE.

Got the dark brown from a dept store - salesman didn't know his product. Told me they'd fade to tan. Liked the shoe so much, I bought a second pair, this time in the light brown. Favorite dress show of ALL time and most comfortable. There are days I must wear them from 4:00 am to 9:00pm. They become your buddy. I polish the dark ones w/Kiwi neutral and have a high shine on the toe. I'll use J&M cream on the light brown. Found a great employee at the Philly airport store and recently bought the light ones. No shipping, and no tax in PA; there's my discount!

2nd pair and will buy more

I am on my feet all day long. These shoes initially feel a little heavy but they are very comfortable! Highly recommended.

I wear these shoes about 3 days a week, the other two work days I wear Johnston & Murphy as well. I have sought out dress and casual shoes for years and could never truly find a pair that fit properly and were stylish. Now I have and both of my feet are very happy.

Can wear these shoes with jeans or khakis. Nice for casual events or when you need something just a little dressier. Very comfortable!

JM's products are of very good quality and that is what keeps me coming back. I also remember being under employed and window shopping at JM stores, always wishing and hoping for a time I could buy a pair of JM shoes, now I am glad to be one of your customers.

I bought a black and brown pair almost four years ago and they were extremely comfortable from day 1. The black ones wore out faster, as I wore them more often, and the inner soles started to get holes, so it was time for a new pair. Just started wearing the new black ones last week and love 'em.
