These are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever bought. I have 3 pairs of Johnston & Murphy shoes - one of them that I still wear is 26 years old and still going strong after having them re-soled 4 times. I'm in sales so I'm up and moving a lot and can wear a pair of shoes out within a year. The pair I'm writing this review about was incredibly comfortable right out of the box and is probably the most versatile shoe I own. It can be dressed up or dressed down to a casual setting. I HIGHLY recommend these.

versitile use for travel and flexible use

My wife purchased this style in black for me for work and I loved it so much that I promptly made another purchase of the same style shoe in brown. I am a dentist who works long hours and these shoes are everything that I hoped for...and more! I have discarded all of my previous work shoes.

Great shoes, extremely comfortable and stylish

This purchase represents my 4th and 5th pair of these shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Excellent for today's business casual work environment and always look good.

best shoe ever

These are my 4th pair of the Shuler bicycle toe and I love them. I'm still wearing my first pair, but now as my walking/dog park kickarounds. These shoes are comfortable from the time you first put them on and are very durable. They look great with casual clothes, but are also appropriate with blazers and slacks. All around, my favorite shoes.

Like these so much bought this 2nd pair

I was beginning to experience pain in the ball of my foot with the several pairs of shoes that I currently owned and decided I needed to find a really comfortable pair of shoes. While at the King of Prussia Mall and waiting for my wife I was fortunate enough to step into the J&M store and tried on a pair of the Shuler Bicycle at the suggestion of the Sales Associate. There was no decision to make, I had to have them. I finally have found a pair of shoes that are as comfortable as a pair of running sneakers, yet stylish and professional looking to wear to work. I bought the dark brown which are very versatile, and will be getting another pair in black.

Great all-around work shoe. For comfort & quality, J&M's are the only way to go. Little dissappointed to find I paid $20 more in store than online at their own website.

this is my third pair....not because the others wear out too quickly...I just can't find a more comfortable shoe

The leather is very supple and soft. The inside well cushioned. I was able to walk around New York in total comfort while giving my attire a stylish touch. The shoes are very durable. A sound investment.

Wear with jeans or pants. They are very comfortable with the sheapskin padding. Just a great all round casual shoe and the price is very reasonable.

I liked these shoes as soon as I saw them in the store. The design is very unique and they are very soft.

Awesome shoe. I have a hard time finding a shoe that is comfortable and almost impossible time trying to find one that is comfortable and nice looking. Until now. I have a high arch and have also had foot surgery. I was amazed at the comfort of these shoes when I found the right one for me I couldn't believe how good my feet felt. I actually felt as though I lost weight the minute I placed my foot in these shoes. Due to my problems with other shoes I went to one of the stores which was near Detroit so I could try them on. I originally wanted a slip on but after trying on several the salesman brought out this one and from there I was sold. Instant comfort, no break in. The salesman was terrific and very educated. I have only had these for about a month but I very satisfied and I am confident from the quality they will last a long time. If you can, look for a store near you or near somewhere you are traveling. I am amazed at how much better I feel after walking at work when I get home. For me that is priceless. Did I mention that I work in the largest single story office building in the world and just to go to get coffee is a journey? I will be buying another pair in brown on my next trip. These are the most comfortable dress shoes that I have owned so far. The sheepskin cushioning is wonderful. Danced all night at a wedding in these and I wouldn't have known it the next morning, where a lesser pare of shoes would have left my feet sore. Many compliments from the ladies as well. P.S. Probably not a good idea for these to actually be a "pillow for your dogs!"
