I love the true white Era Vans. They are very comfortable, but the bad thing about white is they get dirty fast, but who cares. I'll always buy them; very comfortable.

Perfect sneakers. I've been wearing the Chucks for 3 years now and I thought it's time for some change. Also the Chucks is quickly becoming a very common shoe as many people own at least one pair in their closet so I wanted something different to stand out. I always thought Converse and Vans are the two best brands for casual sneakers so I gave Vans a shot and picked up the Vans Era from Zappos. First, these shoes look amazing in virtually any shorts or jeans which is what you'll expect in any Vans or Converse shoe and what I like most about them is they are not as many people wearing them as the Chucks so I won't feel like always wearing the same shoe as my friends every day. They are also much more comfortable than Chucks as these shoes have padded collar and more cushion. It really didn't disappoint. By the way, this shoe is classic. Gotta love classic sneakers.

Great fit & comfort! I've had mine for almost a year and they're still holding up great (and still look new)! I always wear them without socks; no problems with back arch digging into heel. Got them 1/2 size larger than normal and they're very comfortable.

Great shoe - Had these shoes as a teen and loved them. When I saw them on Zappos I had to try them again. Best decision I made in a long time. They go great with almost anything. Great fit and comfort. Zappos also made a great first impression on me. Upgraded my shipping at no cost without me even asking. Shoes got to me almost overnight. I will be a repeat customer.

Give them a couple of days. I'd been wanting some lace-up Vans for awhile, and they were just what I expected. You have to give them a couple of days to break in (my left heel was irritated for the first 2 days I wore them) but after that they're good old classics. They go with everything. Buy some!

These are really good shoes. Comfortable too. I'm used having shoes that go a little further up the ankle, so it took a little while to get used to. These shoes look great and are super comfortable.

I ordered the size 8 wide. They were tight in the toe and too small. They are a gorgeous shoe and I will now try them in a larger size- but too bad they're not true to size. Incredible free overnight shipping from Zappos.

Cool look overall to these Vans, but I wasn’t keen on the fact that with one thin layer of fabric on top of shoe I could see the tips of my toes. Also no arch support, so not something I could wear for long periods of time. Back they went.

Size was good. I thought I was getting the canvas one, but the fake leather arrived. Sending back and trying again. Sad that I paid for expedited shipping only to get something I need to return. Wish the details on the site could be updated to not show canvas as the upper.

The fit is a bit tight when trying to put the shoe on. I was wearing normal cotton socks anyone can buy from general retail. Once the shoe is on, it fits mostly well. Not too tight but could also just be design of the shoe. When walking, my big toe visibly pokes the top of the shoe to the point that I can see my toe sort of bulge. I normally wear size 9 for 98% of all other shoes I wear. I had to get these shoes at size 10 because the size 9 was way too small. Could not even get the shoe on. There is noticeably about no real bottom feet support on these. The shoe itself is pretty flacid and just real thin for me. Again, could be because of design but it almost feels like I'm not even wearing the shoe sometimes.(i.e. would not recommend except for flat surfaces) Would've been nice if the design could offer support for individuals adding in their own sole support to add in later.
