Ordered this for my middle school daughter. It arrived in about 3 days and she loved it! Very well made!

Great backpack! The largest and most durable backpack I have found. All three of my children have this backpack. They are in grades 5, 8, and 9. This backpack will last year after year. I still have mine from college!

This is an awesome backpack! I got the black one for high school. I can fit a 2" binder, two 1½" binders, and a couple big textbooks in it at one time. And you will not look like a turtle! It stylishly holds a ton of stuff. It is also pretty comfortable even with all the weight of books and such. I would recommend it to anyone.

I looked around and Zappos had the best price for this school bag and free shipping. They shipped fast and we have had no problems. Thanks.

Great color. Looks just like the picture (unlike "Hamster Brown" which is very orange rather than brown). Roomy and looks like it will fit most of my books for school. Love Zappos!

Zappos is one of the best shopping sites on the web. We bought 3 backpacks that were too small. Zappos turned everything around within days and shipped exactly what we needed. We ordered the Jansport Big Student which is exactly what our 5th grader needs. The quality is fine and the space the pack offers is ample. The zippers are solid and look like they will make it through a long school year and then some. The design was very unique as well. We are happy with this backpack.

This is a great bag. I had the exact one for 10 years before someone stole it. I was excited to have my very same bag with one small improvement: a bottle holder on the side. Also, it came with a Red Bull. FTW!

This bag was more at a retail sporting goods store. (Yea Zappos!) My daughter chose (she's in high school). Holds a lot of stuff, has padded straps, water bottle holder, does the job. With fast, overnight shipping, it was a no-brainer to go home and order it instead of getting it at the store. We are replacing a "cheapo" backpack that lasted just one semester. This brand lasts a long time and doesn't seem to wear out. We usually buy JanSport, but bought the cheapo one on a whim. (What were we thinking?) Stick with this brand and you won't be replacing it every year.

This will see you through many years. I just replaced an identical one for my son who is in high school now; he had his previous one since 5th grade. Lots of heavy books, back and forth for 5 years!

A big backpack with lots of room for everything! My son likes the different zippered sections to keep his things organized and he likes not running out of room. This backpack is sturdy and seems like it will hold up for a number of years. Also, my son is a small 4th grader and with the straps tightened all the way, it fits him fine.

Great design and very comfortable. Seems very strong. Can fit many books inside and there are lots of pockets inside for storing supplies. Great backpack.

Zappos sent this so fast! I'm a 35 year old college student and I wanted something cute and fun but didn't look too young for me and this bag is the 1. It is cute and has plenty of room for all my college books. I also ordered the Dakine jewel backpack and I love them both. Not sure which one I'm gonna use first! Love Zappos this is the 1st time ordering but I'm a customer for life!

This is a great bag. It fit all of my son's large binders and has lots of extra pockets. Well worth it!

So far, the JanSport is more than keeping up--with the capacity and toughness needed for high school. But the best part of this purchase was the remarkable Zappos service--the desperately needed backpack arrived the day after ordering--ab fab!

I am a college senior and I absolutely love my JanSport Big Student backpack! Why did I purchase a new backpack during my last year of college, you may ask? Well because my previous backpack (which I had since freshman year of high school) finally died on me--it completely fell apart :(. I am also continuing on to grad school and need a backpack that will last longer than my previous one. This backpack also carries all my things (so many pockets/storage area!). I really love it!
