This topsider has great style. It's a pretty comfortable shoe as well although not like you're walking on a cloudy or anything. The only issue I have with this shoe is the fit. Shoe seems to be too big and wide. I wear an 11 and I ordered normal width. Does not fit like an 11. It's not so bad that I'd return the shoe but it could be better. Overall, I'd recommend this shoe because of the style and the eye catching ability it has. Worth the price.

I've bought 4 or 5 pair of these--I like the shoe very much. But this last pair had a blemish, a spot of about a half inch in diameter right near the front of the instep. The color of this blemish was slightly lighter than the rest of the shoe. It should never have passed inspection.

Great product, but the leather dye bleeds when dry, on anything it comes in contact with. Socks, pant cuffs etc. I hate to see how much they bleed when Wet.

Firstly, I want to say that these are very comfortable. I wear these on the weekends, and recently, I went on a trip to D.C., and wore them 5 days straight, walking about 2-3 miles a day. They held up fine, and were very comfortable. These shoes have a very classic look, and I find myself wearing them everywhere I go. The only complaint I do have is that the leather scratches if you are harsh on it, but mine have held up great. (The ones on display were scratched up, and the leather seemed soft, but mine haven't scratched much at all.) Overall, I recommend these shoes to anyone, they are fantastic.

Great pair of shoes for many occasions. I live in the wet northwest and these shoes have handled the rain pretty well so far. At first my socks soaked up some dye from the leather but after the first day no problems whats so ever. So comfortable that sometimes I forget I'm even wearing shoes.

The fit is excellent, and the style goes with pretty much anything - casual or even for around the office. I personally should have chosen extra wide, and this is the only shoe that carries that option; however, it still fits nicely, and they break in easily. Quality is top notch as well, and the sole seems to work incredibly well on slippery surfaces. My only fear is that because there are no tread, the sole will wear quickly.

Customers might find it helpful if you sent a guide on how to keep the laces tied in some way. The laces you had on the Jeffrey's edition should be a option all shoes. The laces constantly coming undone becomes irritating.

I was very excited to receive my original boat shoes in blue. They fit true to size, although they were a bit wide for my fairly narrow feet, but the laces that rap around make it possible for me to tighten the fit. They are a great style, that fits my preppy New England personality. I love the color I chose and couldn't be happier with the style. I question the manufacturing. I was hoping that buying a quintessentially New England product that the product would be also manufactured in New England like many other brands. Instead this product in manufactured in China. I believe that had the shoes been made in the United States the quality of the leather would have been better and less plastic-like.

Classic but Contemporary - Sperry Topsider's Boat Shoes are true classics. They're great for loafing around, and they're great with or without sox. The new colors add some pizzazz to a conservative classic. Once you wear these, you'll definitely want to get another pair. They’re comfortable, but don't try to hike in them!

Great relaxed shoe - This shoe is quite comfortable. Coming from a long line of cobblers and shoe-buffs, I can see that the suede material is very high quality and will prove to be quite durable. I think I may have bought them a bit big though because I tried them on with socks on and recently decided to wear them without socks. Mistake for a new shoe! The dye from the suede has bled onto my feet! Oh well, this happened when I bought a pair of Rainbow Flip-Flops as well, the problem shouldn’t persist very long, at least until they are fully broken in. Anyone looking for a great alternative to flip-flops, especially in the mild Autumn weather, should consider this shoe. P.S. Great traction, as to be expected.

Great shoes - I loved these shoes right away. They have that already-broken-in feel to them straight out of the box. Occasonally my feet get a bit too sweaty in them when it's hot out, but for the most part they're a great spring through fall shoe. They draw a lot of compliments, and seem to be appropriate for nearly every setting.

Very cool shoes - All I can say is I get compliments on these shoes every time I wear them and they're as comfortable as my regular Top-Siders. A great summer alternative to sandals.
I'd also recommend:
Same style in other colours, but ALWAYS with the white sole, never the beige which looks dirty and dorky.

I love the classic sperry style, I grew up wearing these. This pair, the seam in the toe dug right into my bunion, couldn’t wear them. Thank you Zappos for making returns and exchanges so easy.

Not what they used to be. The stitching at the front of the sole comes away/decays and leaves the front unattached from the leather shoe. I've worn Sperry Top Siders for years and the last two pairs have both done this. What has changed?

I had a pair in the 90s and lasted 10 years. My son bought me a pair in the summer and the sole split on the side. Very disappointed they are not inexpensive shoes.

Guys, how so. You're the hallmark, the best of the best for this style and I discover that the sole is no longer a whole piece, but a spit of cork around the heal. Where's the sole? It's no longer as well cushioned as it used to be

Classic, but questionable quality. The front of the sole has literally ripped off of the past 2 pairs of my son's Sherry boat shoes!

I've had this exact pair of good-looking Sperrys for over 10 year. Recent, I've had to replace my trusty old pair after they finally fell apart years later. As much as I've enjoyed the design and comfort of my boat shoes, this latest pair has me thinking twice about wearing my Sperrys. Buying exact same size I've had for years, the fit of these shoes is off - the heel side of the shoe doesn't hug my foot while the front is often too tight (and the only thing keeping the shoe on my foot). This problem is particularly worse with my right shoe as well. This unfortunately leaves my feet sometimes feeling weirdly sore at the end of a day of walking as certain parts of my foot have to overcompensate in order to keep the shoe semi-snug on my foot. A little disappointed because I've loved my boat shoes.

Nice looking shoe and comfortable to wear. Only problem is the dye or stain used to create the color is not very durable. Just walking or wearing creases the leather and leaves crease marks. Same where your toes push out at the front of the shoes. Evan pitting them in a suitcase and they touched other items caused a discoloration.

Bought these 3 months ago and have only worn them maybe 4 times to church only at this time. The sole has started to pull away from the front of the shoe. This did not happen with 2 previous pairs that lasted for years. Am still wearing a pair that is many years old and other than looking beat up are doing well. Was happy to see that Sperry brought back the Ice color this year. Since I like the Ice color for summer, I will try to get these replaced. I have seen on the Sperry web site that this issue has been experienced by several others. I will try to get these replaced by Sperry. I am hoping they will stand behind their typically excellent product(s). Other than the issue with the sole pulling off the shoe, these appear to be like my 2 other pair. Sorry that I am not able to provide a photo of the issue I am having, don't have the shoes with me currently.
