Boston Soft Footbed - I like this shoe, it's quite comfortable and the soft footbed is a pleasant surprise. I'm finding that the strap across the top needs to break in, but it's not bothering me enough to send them back. I have a number of Birkenstock sandals and found that they run bigger than the usual US shoe size.

Great comfort shoe. The soft footbed is great, a real nice additional to a great shoe. They were truly comfortable the first time I wore them. They go with everything. My only minor complaint is that they are warm/hot in the summer. I liked them so much I bought another pair in a different color.

Great shoes! Instantly comfortable. No breaking in. I've had the regular footbed before, but the soft footbed is so much better. Zappos is great. Love the fast, free shipping. I never go to shoe stores anymore.

Excellent! I have back, knee foot arthritis and plantar fasciitis problems. I have worn Birkenstocks since the 70's, but the old style started to hurt my arthritis. I was advised to try this particular one, because the soft footbed is so much more comfortable. They were right! Birks have really improved on a great thing! Highly recommend this for high arch as well!

I love my Birks so much! I bought the soft footbed sand ones about six months ago--they are fab! I'm on my feet all day at work, and these clogs are delightful. I've had other Birkenstock clogs before, and liked them a lot, but the soft footbed is immediately comfortable, with no break-in period. I recommend these highly.

Most Comfortable! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I love the style, but it's not very "pretty". I love being able to slip them on and off, and I think the soft foot bed really is the way to go.

Universal shoe - I am so happy I bought a pair of these shoes. I spent a little extra money for Birkenstocks but I hear they are so tough and will last a lifetime. The cool thing is you can wear them during all four seasons.

Birkenstock clogs - I purchased the Birks for my daughter. She loves them, however we did have to send the first pair back because they were a full size larger and she usually wears a wide shoe and we had to order a narrow.

Every Day! I had a pair of Birks in high school...20 years ago...and LOVED them to death (After a few re-corkings and some tears, I had to let them go). I finally got up the courage to replace my old favorite shoe--risking being disappointed--and find that I love this new pair even MORE than the first pair. There has been no (absolutely none of the) breaking-in period that is typical with Birks. These shoes went on my feet and have stayed there ever since they arrived; I work in a casual-ish environment so I can get away with it. I love them. Comfortable, Cute and a great shoe for someone who has knee or back problems.

Consistently comfortable classic - I wear a 9 medium in American sizing and the 39 in Birkenstocks always fits (this has been true over a period of many years and different Birkenstock styles). It's my first experience with the new "soft foot bed" (which is just extra cushioning in the foot bed, a layer of latex added in, I guess for us aging Boomers) . I give that feature a thumbs up and will seek it out for future purchases (it's not available on all styles/colors). My one complaint is that the light color of the suede (taupe) marks easily and quickly looks dirty. But the color looks great with jeans and khakis.

Another Good Choice From Birkenstock - Once again I've been very happy with my choice of shoes from Birkenstock. This is the first pair of soft footbed shoes I've tried and am very pleased with the comfort. The style is great for jeans, sweats and casual wear, and I can wear them all day and quite frankly forget about having them on. Great shoe - I highly recommend them!

These shoes are wonderful. I walk a lot during the day on concrete floors. At the end of the day, my feet and legs are no longer tired and achy. I have ended up wearing these almost everyday. Plan on buying more in other colors. They tend to be a little wider than expected, so if you foot is average, order the narrow.

Great shoe- Wonderful Shoe, very comfortable, great arch, true to size and easy to get on and off. I would recommend this shoe to everyone. Has nice style for low key days.

Ugly but comfy - They aren't the most attractive shoes..ugly even, but I am always comfortable.

I'm Hooked! These are wonderful! These are extremely comfortable, I have a slim foot and wear a size 8, occasionally an 8.5 depending on the shoe, and the Birki narrow size 39 fits perfectly with or without socks. Wonderful arch support. For years I've tried to keep up with the "fashion times" with pointy toes and skinny higher heals- no more! I'm 41 and these make me feel like I'm a cool kid in college and my feet feel great. I've already ordered Arizona sandals to live in this summer!

Everywhere shoe- Love these shoes they are so comfortable and they are just my everyday, everywhere shoe. They are literally on my feet every single day. I love them.

Birkenstock Boston Soft Footbed- Great. I've been wearing this style shoe for years but this was the first Soft Footbed I've bought. Makes a world of difference. A little noisy at first with a squishy sound, but gets a little less every day. Highly recommend.

Comfy shoe - Very comfy shoe that my daughter wears every day. They already look old and battered but she does not seem to care. Beige color shows stains so get black if that bothers you.

Five star shoe!! Just the shoe I wanted. I have a wide foot, so this shoe was sized great for me!

At long last- I FINALLY bought Birks and I am SO happy. I also recently bought a pair of Dansko's but I wish I could return them... these are SO much better. I can wear them day after day and my feet are happy (I used to change shoes during the day to help avoid pain). I would travel the world in these. No question. They require minimal break in time. Don't buy too big, they will stretch a little.

Perfect Gift for my 13-year-Old Daughter- Can't believe that teenagers love these shoes as much as we did! The "soft bed" is even more comfortable than the old "Boston" but just as wearable and sturdy. My daughter likes the new lighter color choices. Still a hip shoe that is good for the feet.

Comfort - This shoe is very comfortable. It's my first pair of Birkenstock's and I am very impressed. I wore them to Disneyland and they were great all day long. As my feel swelled later in the day they still were great. A+!

Comfort! Until recently, I have worn regular Birkenstock Boston’s without the padded foot bed with no problem. I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my knees, so I most often wear athletic shoes with orthotics. However, it is nice to have the option of wearing something different occasionally. Recently, I've begun having more problems with my feet and the padding in the Soft Footbed really helps with the comfort. Zappos does a great job of getting the shoes to customers quickly!
