Wonderful for painful feet - I have a number of medical conditions: I have pins in my feet following a serious accident, Plantar fasciitis (I wear custom orthotics for that), and Lymphedema in both my legs. I need comfort, arch support, and protection against bruising, stubbing, cuts etc. because injury with Lymphedema can lead to amputation. For sneakers I wear New Balance, shoes I wear Dansko, and clogs I wear softbed Birkenstocks. The soft footbed is easy on the pins in my feet. The anatomical design allows me to wear them without orthotics and I have walked into all kinds of things and not felt any pain. I have a habit of crossing my legs and swinging my foot. My cat thinks it’s a game and will claw and chew at my clogs. These are basically indestructible and I don't feel a thing. Yeah, they're not so hot to look at, but if you wear some funky glasses, get a daring haircut, and drink an espresso while carrying The New Yorker under your arm, people think you're philosophical and trendy in an off-the-beaten path kind of way. LOL!

Soft Footbed Birks - About the look--what can I say--they're Birks! But they are VERY comfortable.

BIRKENSTOCK, WALKING ON WATER! This is an awesome comfortable clog; I recommend it to anyone interested in casual but comfortable style.

The Birkenstock Boston's are fantastic. Just as a reminder Birkenstock's run big. Order a size smaller than you would any other shoe. I had to send the first pair back.

Very comfy out of the box - Not much to look at, but required absolutely no break in time like my other Birks. Will wait for a sale and get them in other colors!

Birks are always the best for comfort. This is my first Soft Footbed Birk. I couldn't believe that Birkenstock could make their shoe even more comfortable!!!

Soft footbeds the best! I have "problem feet" with various problems including Morton’s Neuroma’s. The soft footbed Birkenstocks are the only shoes I can wear and be pain free.

Magnificent - The most comfortable shoes (also the most comfortable Birkenstock!) I have ever had! The Soft Footbed is incredible! My feet don't hurt anymore!

Love the soft footbed - I now have 2 pairs of these clogs-brown and black. The soft footbed is fantastic. I also love the narrow width-regular Birks are just too wide for my feet. They are out of the box comfortable. I wear a 7 shoe; 7 1/2 Nike sneaker with insert and a 37 Birkenstock. I have plantar fasciitis and can wear these shoes without an insert.

Birkenstock Boston Soft Footbed - I bought these for my college age son, and he loves them! When I saw that these were available in narrow, I bought a pair in his regular size, and they fit perfectly. Thank you Zappos for your usual great service!

Birkenstock Soft Footbed--- True Comfort for your Feet!!!! I love these clogs, and they are great especially for winter days, and all year. I have already posted a comment about these clogs, but I did forget to mention something in my previous review, so here it is. Wear these wonderful and comfy clogs around the house on carpeted floors for about a week or so, to make sure they are the right fit. If you think they are, then go to a local Birkenstock Dealer, and have them punch a hole or two in them to make them a tighter fit if you need to. My other recommendation would be to get some Birkenstock Water Repellent Spray and spray on them, so that when or if you do get caught in the rain, water will not stain the suede material. Other than that these are the most comfortable clogs I have ever worn in my life. Wear them anywhere, to the office, to school, to the malls on shopping trips etc, and your feet will, Thank You. Thank You Birkenstock for making such a wonderful product and Thank You Zappos for carrying such a fine product such as Birkenstock.

Boston Soft and Comfy - These shoes are extremely comfortable and very light on your feet. Unless you have very, very wide feet order the narrow! I have always considered myself to have somewhere between average and wide feet and the narrow is almost too wide for me...and I even had to set the buckle to the tightest setting. Certainly not the prettiest shoe but look casual/cute with jeans...and you can walk in comfort for hours.

AWESOME - The entire experience is wonderful. Great communication and product. The easiest place to shop for shoes, boots, slippers online.

Zappos Fast Shipping - Love the clog! I am a 6'5" 300lb man so I exert a lot of pressure on my feet. These are perfect for my high arches and very comfortable. This new soft footbed means that they feel broken in the first time I put them on. I hope they last as long as my last pair of the normal footbed. I ordered from Zappos at 3pm with the 4 to 5 day shipping and to my surprise got them the next day because Zappos had upgraded the shipping for free!!

Birkenstock Soft Footbed.... Awesome - I have been a loyal Birkenstock fan for 16 years, and I have many pairs I believe now I have 18 pairs. They are so comfortable. I have several pairs of sandals, including the Mocha Soft Footbed, (a delight to the feet), and then I have several clogs, including the Mocha Soft Footbed clog, (also a delight to the feet). I also have several other shoes that Birkenstock makes. I guess, I am a happy and cheerful Birkenstock lover. I love Birkenstocks so much, that I ordered a pair of Taupe Soft Footbed Suede Clogs last week from you all, and they are very comfy, cozy and warm to the feet. Can't wait to wear them. Birkenstocks are for men, women, and children, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like a comfortable, and healthy shoe. After all when you go to a doctor's office, or a hospital, Birkenstock footwear is all you see the doctor's and nurses wearing. Birkenstock Mocha Soft Footbed Boston - These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. This company really knows how to make a quality product. Zappos service is awesome! Highly recommend all Birkenstock shoes.

Soft Footbed is the bomb! I have been a fan of Birkenstock for a long time. I just tried my first Soft Footbed pair of Boston clogs and I must say I LOVE them. I can't believe what a difference the soft bed makes... I just wish they were available for all the styles! I have worn them every day since I got them! I can't take them off!

Possibly the most Comfortable Pair of Shoes I've Ever Owned - I have owned 5 other pairs of Birks (3 Sandals, 2 clogs) and they have all been the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. In fact, it's hard for me to wear almost any other shoe but Birkenstocks simply due to the fact that I'm so adjusted to Birks. And I've been wearing my #1 pair of Birk sandals for the last 9 months straight, due to a winter in Guatemala, and I got so used to wearing Birks that any time I put on anything else, my knees began to have immediate problems. But the cold weather is beginning to come in, and I decided it was time to get some cool weather shoes. So I looked for a new pair of Birks. I've only owned these Boston Soft Bed Sandals for 4 days, and even though I haven't "broken them in" yet (which typically takes about a month or two for Birks) ~ these are easily the *MOST COMFORTABLE* Birk shoes I have experienced *yet*. In fact, they may well be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn on my feet in my whole life. I feel like I'm wearing big warm fuzzy, soft, cushiony mattresses on my feet that make every step delicious. Every part of my feet sings in orchestrated praise with every step. When I come home, I don't want to take off my shoes. I'd go to sleep wearing these shoes if I weren't a nudist. The only thing about these shoes that I don't completely love is the fact that Birks are plain and boring. They lack funkiness, creativity and color. But I wouldn't wear anything else.

True Comfort. What can I say other then this is a phenomenally comfortable shoe. They're the ultimate slipper, for both work and lounging. They even dress up surprisingly nice. That said they are still Berks, so they will never be on the cutting edge of fashion, which is the only reason I couldn’t give them a perfect 5 overall.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter (who does a lot of walking) and she said they were comfortable from the moment she put them on. No breaking in time. She had the Boston's last year but said the soft footbed is even more comfortable. She loves them.

Birkenstock Clogs - Well worth the cost. Never had so comfortable clog. Plan on buying another pair.

Even better than the original - I owned the Boston with the regular footbed since college and decided to try the padded footbed as mine were getting pretty worn out. They are much more comfortable than the originals (if that's possible!) I love them and wear them as much as I can.

Great shoe! The shoes were for my wife who has arthritis. She likes the comfort of the shoes better than any she has ever had. She says she can tell a difference since she has been wearing them.
